  1. It doesn't make it less ridiculous. Regulating common sense is funny.
  2. The national id cards which are being rolled out as part of state licenses could be construed as a restriction of the freedom to travel. Which is where I was going. If you are doing business in another state and using the gun for protection, how would that be different from someone using a car to transport them to another state to do business? All of the salespeople you are referring to may not be "working" while in the car.
  3. Not that it is related, but this makes me think about my 70 year old father being carded for a 6 pack.
  4. Would that not make more sense than granting jurisdiction to the Fed of all travelers no matter the cause? It would seem that the same argument could be applied to the HCP since some people would be carrying while doing business.
  5. I'm missing your point. Since there are many folks driving for commercial reasons, folks traveling for personal reasons should be lumped in? The Commerce Clause is abused to no end and I agree with your statement that the Fed giveth so that it may taketh away at a later time.
  6. I don't buy into the whole gateway thing. Sugar and caffeine were both classified as drugs in the past. Wheat is proven to affect brain function in the same way as a drug as well. Wouldn't alcohol be a gateway drug as well?
  7. I'm curious how traveling by mechanized device falls under the jurisdiction of Interstate Commerce? I can see commercial driving as such, but not personal.
  8. bkelm18 is right on this one. Innocent until proven guilty... Guilt beyond a shadow of a doubt and all that jazz. The perpetrators who are able to sneak by will meet a tall tree and a short rope soon enough.
  9. It's a shame that folks are so thin skinned that you must clarify your comments. Folks bash people of different professions all the time. What ever happened to the whole sticks and stones thing?
  10. I was thinking the inverse. The folks with money should get the same representation as those without money.
  11. Saying no to a request is a "Kwik" tactic? I fail to see the similarity.
  12. It was a bit of hyperbole. In reality I would just say "No". No different than denying a request to search.
  13. Telling them no is not squaring off, it is standing up to tyranny. If I end up in jail over it, so be it.
  14. In this day and age $$$=freedom and the Justice System it ain't. It's a legal system.
  15. Decriminalize all drugs. People who want to self destruct will find a way to do it. If someone wants to get high they will find something to get high on. I remember losers in my high school huffing gas, freon and whatever else they could get. One guy died sniffing Whiteout. Laws that aim to stop hypothetical crimes are ridiculous. If we let the government dictate one freedom, they will want to dictate everything in your life. Furthermore, I am convinced that DARE actually works more to indoctrinate kids to drugs than to prevent the usage.
  16. He should have told the hpd to piss off.
  17. Benton shooters has some, but it's a piece from you.
  18. That sure looks good Major Kong. I've got chili that has been simmering since 11.
  19. Seems to be that the quality, fit and finish of the esee brand is better than the ontario.
  20. The thread title didn't deliver either. Well, the saiga .223 I picked up and converted last week is a shooter. I'm please with it.
  21. The name makes me wonder if Winston Smith converts the originals to digital.
  22. No, I understood that it is a satire based on a hypothetical future, but to think that movies, whether satirical or not, do not affect thinking, is illogical.
  23. Another example of what Hollyweird is best at; Showing a distorted/perverted view of history, today and tomorrow...
  24. How did the Saiga .223 shoot? What ammo did you use and how accurate did you find it out of the box?
