  1. Anyone have Good Sam roadside service? If so, please share your experience. AAA is too politcal. I want roadside service not someone telling me what legislation I should and shouldn't support.
  2. I always heard it said "as soon", like "I'd just as soon cut of my ears than listen to her..." Anyways, good luck finding a CPA.
  3. Yes they are... Pretty sure I saw one yesterday on a section of the John Muir trail.
  4. Lots of good advice here. Traxxis makes some good stuff. We have a couple 2wd slashes and the only thing I wish they had was 4x4, but it was not available when they first came out.
  5. Lot of us in or near Chatt. Your original post did not have enough information to garner interest, other than thinking it was strange.
  6. Thanks. Yeah, I've been to all the forums and am up on the "it's a jeep thing" things and owner devised re-engineering. After overlooking the rattling valve train, the thin to non existent paint in places, the electronic gremlins and the improperly torqued fasteners, I decided to draw the line at the lakes forming in the floorboard. The only reason I tolerated the other issues was due how much I love the thing. So, I know what you mean about driving a jeep. When I sold my 08, I had dreams of getting something else that would make me happy, but you see what I ended up with.
  7. Thanks. It looks like it's still leaking so, I'm not sure how this will play out. The water is ponding after it storms or washing it and it's definitely not a normal thing. My 08 jku sat in the exact same spot in the factory configurations, hard and soft top, and it didn't leak. Top alignment and installation was the first thing tried. Since then it's been door gaskets and other miscellaneous rubber gasket widgets.
  8. Well, there are a number of things wrong with it, but the issue I am referring to above, would be the water leaking into the passenger compartment and ponding in the floor. It's so bad that it is causing rust.
  9. Yeah, I have a call in to the GM. Hopefully he can do something to get it resolved. After almost always having a jeep in my driveway, this may be the last one. Seems anything that could be made with 1 part has 3 or 4.
  10. The dealership has actually been very nice and continues to try to correct the issue, per direction from Chrysler engineers. So I don't fault them.
  11. Yes, I've studied all the info available and it looks like the next steps are: 1. File complaint with TN Atty Gen. Consumer Affairs Division 2. File complaint with the TN Motor Vehicle Commission 3. File complaint with the Better Business Bureau 4. Get a lemon law attorney and file a civil suit
  12. The notice letter was sent certified to Chrysler LLC in MI. They are on the 5th repair attempt and it is getting nowhere quick...
  13. yup. 2011 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited with 9k miles on it. I've followed all the steps, including sending my demand letter for final repair. Now, it looks like the only way to proceed is with civil litigation.
  14. Anyone dealt with the lemon law here in TN? How about recommending a lemon law attorney, since it appears that is the only option with teeth...
  15. If that were a vista cruiser on 35s, I'd be interested.
  16. wrong on many levels.
  17. If you've not cleaned it you may want to try that. Also may want to run a few mags through it with ammo that it likes and try again after awhile. It very well could be drag from a rubber tip causing a timing issue. I'm not familiar with that ammo, so I can't comment.
  18. Is it only happening when loading the first round? are you sling shotting it, dropping it from he slide stop? Is it brand new?
  19. It's engrish!

  22. Was it Dreamland by chance?
  23. what about turkey jerky?
  24. We have a few. I can't believe there aint no good recipes for them. All I've every heard is to skin em and put em in dutch oven or cooking bag with onions, garlic and salt.
  25. how about some recipes?
