  1. Oh yeah I do. We avoid the river like a plague that day. Seriously though, it looks like a lot of fun for everyone.
  2. Don't blame me. I voted for Jefferson Davis.
  3. LOL. It seems the race still occurs. I've seen a number of folks float the lower in blowup pools too.
  4. I see you are in knoxville. I'm pretty close to the hiwassee river and not far from parksville/lake ocoee and have a few ww boats. If you ever wanted to come down, I'd be willing to take you out, schedule permitting.
  5. The Lord is my Shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: He leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for His name' sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: For thou art with me; Thy rod and thy staff, they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies; Thou annointest my head with oil; My cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the House of the Lord forever.
  6. Not sure what all you have check out but here is a basic description of how different profiles affect stability. http://www.redrockstore.com/canoes/characteristics/stability.htm
  7. Yeah, being flexible canvas along with the shortness, getting good hull speed will be difficult. It looks like it'll have a fairly hard chine in the middle. Could make for some fun!
  8. You may want to check out cboats.net. It's oriented more towards whitewater, but a plethora of information and knowledgeable folks over there.
  9. Totally missed my point, but don't worry about it. Haters gonna hate.
  10. Oh, yeah? What about the warewolves?
  11. Totally agree. The sound is sweet too. throw one on the table or put a couple in your pocket. It has a distinct sound.
  12. Thanks. I just threw up in my mouth a bit.
  13. I'm not sure if I should converse with yall anymore. Fairly certain I qualify for a list or two.
  14. I tried that, but it wound up covered with vomit all the time.
  15. One of silvers best attributes it's is that is it used in electronics, medical devices and other things. As long as consumption and technology continue at a decent clip it should at least maintain value. Though we all know nothing is certain. The currency has definitely been debased severely over our collective lifetime. I'd be surprised though if the government allowed it to be owned in the event that the dollar fell from grace. Surely the bankers have a contingency plan in place or could come up with a creature from Jeckyll Island 2.0 in short order, then have it all confiscated by the .gov. Saving is not what the government wants or promotes. It wants everyone to gamble cause the house always wins in the end.
  16. Aint that the truth. It almost makes you wonder if the dark ages are not upon us once more.
  17. No, you did not. I was just asking as I'm nor familiar with who realclearpolitics is and thought you may have insight. The first few google links gave different numbers. Well regardless of who the second place loser is, this is an interesting topic.
  18. So RealClearPolitics is defacto? It's strange that many main stream media sources have different numbers. How are these numbers not the same.
  19. Ah, thanks strickj. I see now Santorum is second. Any idea why that chart show 210 Delegates remaining?
  20. Sorry, I was under the impression he received more votes than the other candidates, excluding Romney of course.
  21. Even if the primary stability is not there, it may have good secondary stability as long as it has enough freeboard. I've paddled some boats that felt like they wanted to throw you like mechanical bull, but it can be overcome with practice.
  22. I seriously considered it, but we were heading out camping and I didn't want to mess it up for the kids. It turned out we really didn't need any of the chinese crap anyways and we made due with what we had. The return and complaint was surely much less stressful and time consuming than dealing with the unknown of the PD.
  23. If he pics Condi, that will confirm my suspicions right there. Status Quo for the win.
