  1. Where did they get the data on the owners?
  2. Welcome. Unix is old tech, but still beats new tech. Same can be said for the 1911!
  3. If the .gov can tell us to change it, I'd say it is an arbitrary number. The order of celestial movements is not.
  4. VAG? There is a joke there, somewhere... Again, that site is a poor attempt at satire. I just don't like vws and use any chance I get to tell em they suck...
  5. Actually, I read the whole article and saw that thank you very much... That will do nothing for someone who NEEDS a replacement one day and that is their sole source of heat and they can't afford the new models. Go big .gov!
  6.   Interesting choice of smilies to use on a post about wood inspections.  :D
  7. Noooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  8. Friends don't let friends put things that look like that on their 1911s. :P
  9. Concerning convertible pistols, I'd inquire to make sure the extra cylinder is original to the gun.
  10. Didn't mean to offend you.  Just responding to your post. Guess I misunderstood you.   If we're measuring peters.  I learned on a trs80.  Logged into my first bbs in the late 70s, have owned domains since the mid 90s and can tell the depth of the water in the toilet without using mah hands.  :D
  11.   He's gay too?
  12.   I'd venture if they can't add 1+1, they probably can't read and don't care about the laws.  Still, if they do something bad with one surely there are other charges they can be brought up on.
  13.   LOL at dune.  I never read the book because the movie was so bad.  That fat dude with the puss was nasty.
  14.   No, you don't have to install it, but it does need to be updated, just like windows is already installed and needs regular updating.  Especially with the latest round of IE exploits.
  15.   Yes, actually consumer demand has caused the efficiency to increase.  This is before the newest regulations.  When is the last time you shopped for a wood stove?     The technology has changed a lot over the last 10 years without the .gov interference.     That said the newer tech stoves run from $1800 and up, while the old style are still available for $500 and under.  Nothing like putting it to the folks who can afford it the least.  The shame is those same folks probably carry a quater the carbon footprint of your average libtard.
  16.   It looks like it is only related to flash running in mozilla, so doubtful.  But yeah, there are some reports of the latest vulnerability being associated with the bsod on some systems.
  17. Hmm.  I wonder if it has to do with the flash vulnerability.
  18. penguins and daemons FTW!
  19. As though all the bugs are ever found, much less fixed. Most security bugs, are not bugs, but instead oversights or just insecure design s.
  20. You're right. Better script, acting and effects with Ender's
  21. Thanks for linking that. Good article. I likedv the comment that said 'The government is rising up against it's citizens.
  22. Redbox
  23.   Hmm, it will be interesting to watch.  Let's pray you are correct.  The 3 words after the highlighted phrase are "at this point."  Which implies it could still be on the table.
  24. Man, I've considered getting a detector for a number of years though it tends to end in analysis paralysis and forgetting about it.  Don't want to spend a fortune, but don't want a useless device either.  I live minutes from where they used to mine gold.  Also right close to a major thoroughfare during the war.
