  I agree they were not "conspiracy theroies" although people who thought it could happen before it got out, were labelled.   With secret judges making secret decisions about spying on US citizens without due cause,  I 'd say it is in fact a conspiracy (multiple participants).  The public was not aware of it.  The DHS request for bid on the tracking database was pulled and declared a "mistake" when word got around.

  Hold on a second there.  Is the NSA spying a conspiracy? Is the DHS wanting a database of everyone's movement conspiracy?  Did you imagine it would come to this?  That's not to mention the plethora of scandals.   Not to speak for anyone else but I for one am not saying there is some master conspiracy going on.  What I see is a slow decent down the spiral to total surveillance and no one seems to care about, because heck; it's crazy talk.   The folks most likely to bring up FEMA camps and Obama the dictator on here are folks maligning others with the words conspiracy and tinfoil.   Let's pray that nothing more comes of it and that the .gov will have a come to Jesus and change it's ways.  My perception is that aint going to happen cause folks don't care.

It started in the late 70s early 80s in Tampa with the Rocky Horror picture show crap.  They would be in the mall waiting for it to start and it played every weekend.  Not as widespread, but those people looked like freaks and acted like freaks.

  Gee, I didn't think it was a personal attack.  You said you would not hang your hopes on a dog like the 2nd.  You continue to go on about the law being superior to the Constitution.  How else should that be taken?   Obviously you don't get what I've stated over and over, I have no fear of the .gov.  They can do what they want and I will keep doing what I want as long as I don't encroach on someone else' freedoms.  Stop confusing discussing the natural possible outcomes or progression as fear.  It's called not sticking your head in the sand.   Do you not continue to write off every encroachment as nothing?  A few posts back you did.  But it would appear you agreed with those scenarios and can't detect the slippery slope...   And stop being such a hypocrite crying about personal attacks anyway.  You don't agree, so you malign folks by calling them tinfoil hatters...

As though a government needs an excuse to raise taxes. I don't condone much less want taxes, in no way does my statement give them an excuse. It just a fact. The money has to come from somewhere. I gues th PD could issue more citations to cover it, but that's just another form of tax...

I agree that they should go after the PD, but thesad fact is that the bill will be passed to the taxxpayers... Se la vie. :/ Absolutely go after th officers.

  Please explain.  Where does a municipality get funds from? Governments will raise taxes regardless, but usually a shortfall in budgets is an impetus.

  Very, very bad experience with my wife's VW.  Same for a co-worker of mine at the same time.  My BIL was a big, big fan having owned a number of pre 90s models.  He bought his daughter a 200? jetta and declared never again.
