  1. All of mine are pretty comfortable, especially the Beretta 92FS and the Beretta Cheetah 84FS. But I guess the .380 edges out the 9MM just a tad.
  2. Welcome, Bill! I am in Antioch but work in La Vergne. Enjoy the forum.
  3. av88tor, would you say that it is better than nothing?
  4. Way back in the day I learned to shoot with my father's Navy Colt so I started off with a 45. And now I have a Beretta Cougar 8045F and I love it. The grip is a bit fat for some folks but I like the way it feels and shoots. I doubt I'd carry it but I have a 9mm and .380 for that.

    Cougar help please

It really depends on the Cougar that's being traded. Is it a Stoeger Cougar or a Beretta Cougar? And what caliber? I have had a Sig 229 in 40 and I currently own a Beretta Cougar in 45. Love them both but I still have the Cougar. BUT....I would never ever trade for or buy a gun site unseen or never handled.
  6. Welcome! Welcome!
  7. Welcome to the forum, Leigh Ann.

Welcome, crystalm. What do you carry?
  9. It wouldn't be that easy if the safe were bolted to the floor...
  10. Welcome, arktwins! Where do you live in our great state?
  11. Of course! And I bought my Beretta Cougar 8045F cause I like bigger cats!
  12. Me, too! Besides the new .380 I have a 9 and 45 Beretta.
  13. My NIB Beretta Cheetah 84FS Now if I could only find some .380 ammo...
  14. Aw, those are so cute. Please post a picture of your new gun, Eric.

    price check aisle 2

It's worth whatever you paid for it. And, btw, welcome to the forum.
  16. I wear my normal glasses but because the sides are unprotected and I have had brass come close to my eyeball, I now wear plastic protective slip-on goggles over my glasses. Can't be too careful with your eyes.

I personally don't know any guys that own one but I own one.

    carry gun

I have heard the same and that they are comparable to the Beretta Cougar. I understand it is the same gun only a different logo on the grips. Not true, not better. I have a Beretta Cougar 8045F and it is very fine.
  19. Thanks ever-so-much for sharing... But it would be hilarious!
  20. I have to give props to Todd and Dustin. I took my class with them and it was great. There were a couple of people that had limited experience with guns and one lady that had never held one. Todd and Dustin were very patient and we all had fun.
  21. For future reference, another on-line scanner is F-Secure. Scroll down the page at http://support.f-secure.com/enu/home/ols.shtml and click on "Start Scanning". (I use this from FireFox so any browser works.) The F-Secure scanner check also checks root keys. Plus, http://www.pchell.com has tips and links to fixing specific problems, spyware, viruses, etc.
  22. You guys are a bunch of wieners, aren't ya? I mostly shop on line because of selection and gas costs too much to drive around town to shop. But sometimes I have to go to a specific store and go to Hickory Hollow because it's close. I have have had no trouble, nor have I been afraid when at Hickory Hollow. Of course, I would be nervous walking to my car at night alone from any mall or place of business. And no one is racist, right?
  23. I also have a 45. What can I say, I like big guns...
  24. You have shot several models and calibers, right? It always helps to handle several guns before purchasing.
