  1. Middle Tennessee Shooters club will be hosting its monthly 3 gun match on Sunday May 7th. It will feature 5 challenging stages. Round count is approximately 100 rounds per gun and at least 2 slugs. No slings necessary. 200 yards for the longest rifle shots. You can register on practiscore or at the range on the day of. Registration at the range starts at 11:00 AM and closes at noon. Match fee is $25 for non members and $20 for members. New shooters please be there a little early for the safety briefing.   3. You can 3 gun with a pump until you know if you enjoy the sport. Shoot a few matches before you decide to start spending big bucks. Don't buy the 930, it's really not a good choice. If you end up enjoying 3 gun and want to buy a good starter shotgun, look at the stoeger m3000. Its a great deal for a great gun.

Round count will be around 150 for rifle and 100 for pistol but bring more if you plan to miss alot. Divisions will be Open, limited, tac optics, heavy, and pcc. Check in at the range between 11:00 and noon, new shooters please get there early for a new shooters briefing. Anyone that can be there early and help with set up is welcome.   7. I think its the mixed discipline match there this coming Sunday and idpa the weekend after but I could be wrong.

Round count will depend on choices made as to what weapon you decide to use on what target but if you bring 100 rifle, 100 pistol and 80 birdshot you should be fine. No mandatory slugs this month but there will be targets that have an option for slugs so you may want to bring a few anyway. Check in at the range between 11:00 and noon, anyone that can be there early and help with set up is welcome. A few of us are gonna shoot some heavy metal this month so if you have a .308 and a .45 get in on that division with us. New safe shooters are always welcome. Sign up on practiscore will be posted or you can sign up the day of the match. Registration from 11:00 and noon and shooting starts shortly thereafter .

  16. Just a head up to everyone that our monthly 3 gun match for July is cancelled due to it falling on the day before July 4th. I hope everyone enjoys the holiday weekend and we'll see you August 7th, I have a great match planned for then.

  20. It may be a little rainy here tomorrow but we're gonna be shooting anyway. If anyone wants to shoot the match with a pistol caliber carbine tomorrow they are welcome to. I changed some of the stages due to the weather so there will be lots of steel.
