  8. A lot of matches require a pump shotgun for their heavy metal division, the other divisions allow a semi auto which is a good bit faster. Just starting out there is nothing wrong with using a pump until you figure out what semi auto shotgun you want.
  9. I would have gone with the nova if I hadn't already had an 870. I put a 26 inch barrel with a light mod choke on mine. The pump gun really only makes sense if you're shooting heavy metal, that stoeger will serve you well for every other division.
  10. I was hoping to post an update about good weather this weekend, oh well. We'll be shooting rain or shine, at least there are no paper targets to worry about. Don't forget your rain gear.
  11. Yes, or you can load your magazines to 10 rounds and shoot production.
  12. Middle Tennessee Shooters Club in Manchester will be hosting a 5 stage falling steel match on Sunday October 8th. We will most likely limit it to entry in one division except for those who show up for set up the day before at 0900. Set up help on Saturday can shoot two divisions. 14. He's referencing 3 Gun Nation divisions. A glock 22 converted to 9mm won't be a problem for factory/tac irons division.
