  1. The guys at MCTS are very cool and you will surely have a good time shooting with them. You should also consider shooting IDPA at with us at Middle Tennsee Shooters Club in Manchester since you are in Murfeesboro. Our next club match is Sunday September 5th at 1:00. We'll be shooting 8 stages and around 113 rounds. You can PM me with any questions. Gallatin gun club is also a good place to go for a match. I went out there today and had a great time. You really can't go wrong with any IDPA club around here. They are all full of really friendly people that can help get you started.
  2. Thanks. I've already started working on stages for next month.
  3. We are having a match Sunday Aug 8, hammer down at 1:00 PM central time. Eight stages 130 rounds and a ton of fun.
  4. I made the drive out to Oak Ridge today for their monthly 3gun match. I had a great time. The facility there is top notch. The stages were fun and the people there were friendly. Two thumbs up for ORSA 3gun.
  5. We still have monthly matches out there. First Sunday of the month. Hammer down at 1:00 PM. Scores get e-mailed out. We normally shoot between 6 and 9 nine stages with an average of twenty or so shooters.
  6. +1 to what Michael said. The only shotgun I own is a saiga. To outright ban them from DMG is unfair. I can understand not letting me use my twenty round mags, but no saigas at all is uncool. My rifle isn't legal by these rules either because I run an oversized muzzle break in Open. Idpa should stay out of the 3gun game. I hope Robert will rethink using the idpa Dmg rules for his matches. I always look forward to his 3-gun match and shotgun side matches at Gallatin. I feel like using the IDPA rules will diminish the fun factor. just my $0.02 Ryan
  7. I drove two and a half hours each way to go to that match. I got there at 9:15 to help set up and found out that the match director, Price, threw a hissy fit and left because no one was there at 9:00 to help set up. I wasn't the only one standing around saying what the heck. It was a real disappointment. I won't ever go back out there for a match. That sort of behavoir is completetly unacceptable. We need a monthly 3-gun match in middle TN.
