My Glock is not a spoon. It does not stir pots. It does not, in turn, smell like what's in the pot. But it is dishwasher friendly. Why are you so convinced that ALL OCers have a purposely negative agenda?

The 21 was nice recoil-wise. It's just a big handful.

I OC a lot. I live in a fairly rural area where a lot of folks have their permits, so it's not unusual to see OC here. I will admit that I put my shirt over the grip on a regular basis when a store is fairly busy/crowded... not that so many folks really notice it to begin with. If it's semi-covered with a shirt, it's as good as IWB, in a sense, for most of the population's situational awareness. When I'm going into a larger area or out of state (especially out of state), I tend to conceal more often than not. I picked up a pocket 9mm for those occasions when I need to be more dressy or want to travel light and still want to carry. We are privileged in this state to have a choice between OC or concealed, with an AG opinion to match. As long as a person walks, talks, and acts right, let them choose what and how is best for their own situation. :2cents:

This, with the same exact ammo. I dare say this will be the answer in many cases.

My Google-fu indicates that it's made by Fiocchi and distributed by Tula. http://sigtalk.com/ammo-reloading/22110-new-9mm-ammo-walmart.html

Considering the boss himself has weighed in and I think all the mods have too, the chances of this one being locked are as slim as OP taking our collective advice

NOW it has everything :D

I have read many of your posts and enjoyed them, but above is one of the most spot-on things I've ever read on TGO. And leroy is eloquent as ever... :)

Based on the OP's further response, it sounds like she WANTS the attention. She wants "proof" that she is worthy of affection. She's doing you a favor and telling you that you really don't need her in your life... before marriage, before lawyers make your life interesting, before she can make you even more miserable than you may already be. You're getting great (and greatly consistent) advice here: RUN! Good luck.

...one full of good folks and a minimum of herp and derp. It makes a big difference!

Try a compact (G19, G23, G32) or full-size (G17, G22, G31) Glock. The full-size gives a little more spacing for your fingers to wrap around the grip, but not so much that a compact is unpleasant to carry or shoot. The Sig 226 was unpleasantly thick in my experience.

Few tips: -I pulled the slide back on mine and put a cable lock through it magazine well. Lock it and let the slide back. -Acquire a padlock for the hardcase you'll be packing the gun in. For my own piece of mind, I got an extended length lock and locked my Glock case. -Use either a factory box or hard plastic reloader's case for ammo. -Keep your keys for the above handy... and on your person. -Good idea to not keep the ammo in the same box as the pistol. When checking your bags, simply tell the airline agent that you're declaring a firearm. Sometimes they want to see, sometimes not. All you'll do is fill out a tag with your name/info, flight number, etc. and sign it. Sometimes they'll tape it to your pistol hard case, sometimes enclose it in the case. Beyond that, put your items back in your luggage and watch it ride away. They won't bag/tag your luggage with anything special. Yes, it will be handled/fly/arrive on a carousel with everyone else's luggage. There's nothing in your bag of particular interest... remember? Act accordingly. The bottom line is they want to see you packing it in an inoperable manner and that you've declared it to the airline. It's easy and painless.

The more the sheep see OC, the less they'll go baaaaah.

When I was messing with .45s, I had all five models out at the time - 21, 21SF, 30, 30 SF, and 36. My favorite, by far, and my recommendation is the 30SF.

You know where the fine china and silverware is going now.

For what it's worth, I bought Glocks from dealers that were LE trade ins. They came as pistols with one mag in a padded envelope. There were tons of police trades that didn't have boxes with them. People move. People put stuff in the attic. Trade based on the character of the man you're dealing with, not his lack of factory boxes.

Alright, Sig lovers, this one is for you: Picking up a M11A1/P228 soon. I'm understanding magazine compatibility is all over the board with Sigs. So, what other models' magazines will work with this one?

What you're looking for is a Gen 2.5 - yes on finger grooves, no on the rail. A Gen 3 G30 will have a rail.

Since Chrysler/Fiat needs money.... why not sell them?

What size allen wrench? I have several .05" wrenches that go with a lower receiver set screw. If that's your size, I'll be glad to mail you a couple.

If you want personalization AND a fashion statement... Get one of those leather cowboy belts - the ones you brand your name into - and have the HCP badge be the belt buckle, kinda like a bull riding champion. Stealthy  You see, ma'am, I'm one of them there good guys. I got it right there on my belt buckle.

The All-New.......iGun - the smart answer to everything
Glock30 replied to R_Bert's topic in General Chat
I can see it now... "Gimme your wallet, keys, and gun watch!" Not really a solution at all.
