Rangemaster Defensive Shotgun Instructor Development Class

Patterning our guns... 1 round of 9 pellet 00 Federal Flite Control This my preferred load for my plain jane 870 Tactical, I too get excellent results. -
Tom offered this class at Royal Range this past weekend. 3 days / 8 hours of instruction per day My mentor, friend and erstwhile weekend employer, Randy Harris @Cruel Hand Luke of Harris Combative Strategies attended. I am very proud of him for walking the talk through investing in himself, scoring 100/100 on the range and written testing and earning Top Gun accolades. I discovered Tom has a Casino Drill for shotgun; 1st place ran it in 13.77 seconds with a Beretta 1301 equipped with. Holosun optic. Randy churned it out in 14.75 using and old timey pump action. I do not know what the course of fire is, but according to Tom, sub 15 seconds is not in realm of normal human beings. Congratulations!!! (Hopefully you took good notes for takeaways to share with our organization and students)

Why am I reminded of this quote from Atlas Shrugged: Did you really think we want those laws observed?" said Dr. Ferris. "We want them to be broken. You'd better get it straight that it's not a bunch of boy scouts you're up against... We're after power and we mean it... There's no way to rule innocent men. The only power any government has is the power to crack down on criminals. Well, when there aren't enough criminals one makes them. One declares so many things to be a crime that it becomes impossible for men to live without breaking laws. Who wants a nation of law-abiding citizens? What's there in that for anyone? But just pass the kind of laws that can neither be observed nor enforced or objectively interpreted – and you create a nation of law-breakers – and then you cash in on guilt. Now that's the system, Mr. Reardon, that's the game, and once you understand it, you'll be much easier to deal with.

Just saw the victim's mother being interviewed by Lester Holt, what a wondrous example of grace. To paraphrase, "rioting and burning down the city won't bring my son back, let there be peace." My opinion, it will sow further distrust between minorities and LE. Harsh reminder for me to continue to stay under the radar and do nothing to attract the attention of any LE. Lord, please extend your hand to heal and to perform signs and wonders through the holy, precious and powerful name of your obedient servant Jesus.

Back in my day, eggs and toilet paper were so abundant, we used to throw them at the houses of our enemies

I have a Sig P224 with a .40 and .357 barrel. Stocked up on both calibers when 9mm was escalating in price and they were pretty static. It sits, 100% backup status.

Very fair price! -
While I am in no rush, it is very comforting to think about, "what's the best thing that will happen to all who accept Christ?" I agree with keeping an eye on your health and making changes. Since my wife's stroke, I have more motivation to stay as healthy as possible... I've got a whole lot of responsibility to serve her.

From experience, DA / SA takes a lot of commitment, that first DA pull can get ya... My humble opinion - a decent to great SA trigger in an all metal gun will cover poor trigger press discipline. Agree, train train train! Dry fire practice is your friend.

Would it be prudent to have you phone handy and video any visitors who show up uninvited on your private property? Are we even required to ID unless being charged with a crime?
