I really like my original N82 Tactical. Have one for my CZ 75B and P01. They now offer a model with Kydex. I also like High Noon's budget line of all leather IWB. Have 3 of them. Dont forget about a good belt.

Pretty cool, like the t-shirt. Are you shooting towards your house or a neighbor's house while he is at work?

My nephew in law is a Blount county based EMT, unfortunately there is a surprising amount of violence occurring in our county. Prayers for all LEO and your families -
Nut removed, can't get the piston out. It moves freely, looks like a retaining ring is holding it in. (Bolt re-assembled with tool, worth the money!) Got my parts. Some are historically preserved in cosmoline, best way to clean? Aside from making sure the stripped bolt is spotless, any thing else I should address? Would I be well served to hit the gas nut with some of kind of penetrating fluid? I'm digging the skills and knowledge I'm learning working on this project

But no, I just had to rebuild an M1 Carbine into a reliable personal/home defense and fun plinking gun. And I thought if I found a beater, I could rebuild it for cheap. Hahaha hahaha. Parts and accessories ARE plentiful... 1. Found a shooter for $250. 2. Had an over-receiver scope mount. 3. Replaced sporterized stock with Choate folder (demeling requred) and metal hand guard. 4. Bought a 30mm tube scope for the existing 1" mount. 5. Bought a 1" tube scope. 6. Test fired, ejection issues, cause thought to be over-receiver scope mount. 7. Removed and replaced with railed hand guard. Relocated scope forward. 8. Test fire 2. First 25 rounds, flawless, then the same ejection issue plus extraction issues too. 9. Went to the TGO Well of Knowledge; didn't get gas piston clean enough and extractor is damaged. 10. New parts and tools on the way to rebuild the bolt and replace the piston and nut. 11. Don't like the front handguard, after 50 - 75 rounds it get got, like burn your hands hot. Not sure how that would impact accuracy (if at all) even shooting 100y or less. 12. Don't forget the not a gun bag bag, extra mags, ammo and other bits and pieces. Can't tell you how much I've enjoyed the experience! Hoping #13 will be success test fire and #14 will be success test with original over-receiver scope mount.

Come on, He's just a little insecure and had to show everybody how big his package is. Yes, that is a gun in my pocket... -

If you are attending, extra pop up shelters are welcome. Bring plenty of fluids and lunch as well as a camp chair. This is also a good opportunity to test other handguns as Randy is open to safely swapping out. -
Cool, just got one.

I think we've been fighting it since the 1960s and until today, I thought we were losing. Uncle Sam has been winning! Defeating, year by year, familes with fathers. While the black community has the greatest percentage of single parent homes, it is not a uniquely black problem. The link is eye opening as the charts show increasing percentages in white and Hispanic demographics. http://www.fathers.com/statistics-and-research/the-extent-of-fatherlessness/ Uncle Sam has replaced Dad with .gov entitlements. While Uncle Sam may put a meal on the table and pay the utilities, Uncle Sam can't teach how to be a man or a father, can't teach morality, can't teach respect, can't teach discipline nor hold a boy or young man accountable. Arrest is not accountability, it is a threat and/or consequence for getting caught.

Wonder when he's going to get hammered, since truth is the new hate speech. Using terms like accountability, failed urban policies and fatherless boys...

5 other homicides in the previous 24 hours, no community outrage. Police kill a felon, burn down the O'Reillys. Pretty effed up.

Currently on NetFlix. Worth a watch. Great for kids and if you've got a science nerd inside of you.

Apparently when you exercise certain rights, you are exempt from laws and common sense. It seems we focus on rights and lose sight of freedom

I'm pretty familiar with the manufacturing differences between the two and why a $250+ price difference. What say you? I've got an MK9 and the internet has led me to believe the magazines are compatible across these 3 pistols. True or myth? There are times something lighter than the MK or an SP would be nice.

Find joy and peace in the promise of the Lord! You said he went home. He is in Heaven with all the faithful departed, free from these frail human bodies, in the presence of God and Jesus sitting at his right hand. Keeping you and yours in my prayers

Firearms Insurance - Proof of Ownership on Inheritance Question
A.J. Holst replied to Hammer285's topic in General Chat
I'm due to upgrade our gun and jewelry rider. First go around, serial number and description. I supplied the MSRP from the manufacturer websites and "like" examples from the main stream gun selling sites for specialty or out of production stuff. I'm also going to check out their website to see what if it reveals any changes from years back. -
Those modern gadgets in the Brave Little Toaster were down right menacing. I try to minimize my footprint and public identity since privacy and identity have both tangible and intangible value. I have two forums I visit, haven't accessed/updated my Facebook in years and do all of my personal internet research/browsing/shopping through a smart phone. Work is all VPN and intenet based is 100% work related, I do no personal stuff except for LinkedIn which is endorsed for use by my company.

We don't need no stinkin bio hazard suits...reported on NPR, athletes who participate in water sports, simply keep your mouth closed while competing. http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/olympics/2016-rio-olympics-water-feces-athletes-mouth-shut-brazil-a7163021.html

US Athletes unfairly treated by the IRS, as reported on NPR. When you win a medal, apparently you also get a check. Call it a prize, bonus, windfall, recognition made tangible. It is subject to tax. Apparently it just isn't fair to charge the athletes a Victory Tax. Google reveals Schumer is lobbying hard, "they deserve a tax break..." Taxing excellence is American, until it's you they tax. Besides, they ain't there for the money, so they should be happy with any percentage of a windfall remaning after the tax paid. I do recognize the sacrifices the athletes make and the money can defer out of pocket expenses (especially in the lower tier sports) but it is income. What I object to is yet another revision to the tax code for another "special interest group." Did watch while channel surfing; caught the climate change bit, 100,000 Military/Police presence. (fwiw Athens had 70k) and Mozambique is the 3nd largest Portuguese speaking country.
