My buddy took the chance, he's out of state, so second hand info He is so impressed with his first 500 rounds, that it has replaced his G19 for EDC. Ergos and trigger out of the box are excellent. Fits nearly all of his 19 holsters to boot. Pretty high praise considering he went through Sig, Glock in .45, Beretta, CZ to end up with Glock (with trigger and grip mods) in 9 for EDC. He also carries an H&K in .40 for work. I'm a CZ fan, if it's all that, I'll get me one.

How the intelligentsia feels about you and me? https://www.yahoo.com/finance/news/yale-dean-whose-brutal-yelp-152420857.html Should I ever meet her, I will not offer my hand and simply say, "Ma'am, you are no lady." Nice to see she is being held accountable, if dismissed, I'll be impressed that Yale has some backbone. Wonder if she would try a reverse discrimination suit, her name implies not white. Throw in wrongful disciplinary action / termination over free speech, an ambulance chaser might give it a shot. Interesting that Yale has $23 Billion in endowments...$23,000,000,000. They could educate a lot of the unfortunates who could never go to college, get a lot of homeless of the street, kick in some subsidies and reduce those six figure salaries a bit so the likes of you and me could afford to send our kids to an Ivy League. The also enjoy taking money from those evil greedy satanic hedge funds. $150,000,000 from Blackstone alone. Give enough to the right cause and you become respectable. On a side note, does the intelligentsia and media realize in most autocratic and/or socialistic countries, their "class" is first to bend the knee or be "relocated" or lucky enough to be reeducated? Post WW2, consider the warm and fuzzy governments of Southeast Asia, Eastern Europe, South America. You could argue a modern day example ard the Islamic theocracies in the Middle East And let's not forget the dismissive, "that would never happen here, this is America." Denial is not a river in Egypt.

We used to call it losing them to fumes, fumes of gasoline mixed with perfume... and that is an awesome picture -

Mine is He needs you even more, just not as helicopter parents. Just the transition from high school to college is a huge change in his life. He needs your wisdom to make good decisions and stay focused on those things he has done to be successful to this point in his life. Most at 18-19, (or under 30) despite any level of maturity, drive, desire or talent, would not fit the definition of wise. The challenge and opportunity is to how be great parents, coaches, mentors and his support system from a remote location. Phone, text, Facebook, Skype...lots of ways to build your communication network of love! -
Embarrassed to say, who?

Being a non hunting member of PETA, a person who eats tasty animals, I have zero desire to kill any critters. I have zero reservation killing coyotes. Damn the HOA and full speed ahead

I had one, it's a great little pistol. The additional grip thickness due to the double stack doesn't make it harder to conceal and gives it a good feel in the hand. Low round count with no malfunctions. I traded it off due to being cheap - .380 was $18+ box when I had it and spare mags were not available. With .380 coming down, wouldn't mind having another. I think I found it on sale for $349 when I bought it.

According to the internet, the red fox is not dangerous to humans unless they have rabies, which is supposedly rare. Corner them, get near the den, get bitten. Even house pets are safe except for miniature dogs and house cats smaller than 10 pounds. Even those situations are rare since when the dog starts barking or the claws come out on the cat, the fox typically moves on. Unfortunately no game cameras to observe these shy critters. In the words of the Festrunk Brothers, "the foxes are now!"

Not planning on hunting or trapping, but I've got a family (spotted 2 adults and a pup) this morning in my backyard. With the erosion on my property line, I am pretty sure when their den is. No pics yet, when I opened the door, they scurried off. Pretty cool

What's preposterous (to me) is someone, probably many someones will buy this. Sam is right, big brother can now control salt.

https://www.yahoo.com/beauty/doctors-now-calling-safety-warning-194500400.html 1. Why post here? An argument for a properly sharpened and/or properly bladed knife. 2. Proper knife safety could be discussed. I remember when my son was in Boy Scouts and the he was permitted to carry his first pocket knife. To this day, he hands me a bladed tool, leading with the handle and still asks, "do you have it." once I have gripped it. 3. First aid perhaps? Important when you lose a knife fight to a fruit or vegetable. 4. I'm certain a sticker will fix it.

That's planted plants, not pants

Really dropped the ball, planted 12" pants 2 weeks ago. Low effort this year, trying 2 plants, patio barrels. Plus cilantro and basil. Not going to survive the Apocalypse, but we should have a few tomato sandwiches and salsa

does pre ban mean grandfathered for states where such a firearm is now illegal to own in it's original configuration? If so, now I understand why a premium could be had for buying in anti gun states

Do I detect some MST3K influence?

Marketing genius indeed; and you thought it only worked with cell phones. The upgraded features at the same price point is definitely a win for the consumer and a positive image for Glock Gaston could have easily popped it for a few bucks and the buyer would have paid for the added value. Congrats to you G-Lock gals and guys.

When saggies became main stream fashion, I was appalled. Gents, dress like somebody. Doesn't have to be new, custom tailored, freshly pressed and from Neiman Marcus, just clean and properly fitted to your waist. Definitely not practical nor tactical.

If you want to set yourself up to be an owner and not a worker, save every nickel you can. If you want to be a wealthy worker, save every nickel you can. Don't live the American Dream on credit, don't think eating out for lunch and dinner multiple times a week is a good investment, cut out legal sin (excessive alcohol, tobacco and partying) and don't gamble with the rent or milk money. Designer brands (of anything)...if the extra cost equates to greater quality or longevity, go for it. If it is more important to show the tag, well player, you've been played. I come from highly educated family but did not complete college. I learned from that environment one must work and invest quality time to achieve whatever level of success I wanted to achieve. To Mac's point, want to compete with the 800 pound gorilla? What are you doing as an owner or worker to cause the consumer to drive past the competition to buy and keep buying from you? Be Amazing, be Exceptional, be your Best...both in your professional life AND AND YOUR HOME LIFE. Don't leave it all on the professional field, you have to play a double header every day, at work and at home

I have a very liberal friend who is all about your money. He constantly spouts the greedy rich / exploited worker schtick. Propaganda at its finest, tell the same story over and over. I have friends and relatives waaay better off than me financially, I don't covet what they have, what they earn or what they inherited. I don't think they're greedy because they want to retain what they have or earn more than they have. Fair share and the public good. Who decides what my fair share is, aren't I the public and why am I not asked what is good. Maybe if my 5 figure tax bill was lower, I would be able to be less greedy and increase my charitable contributions.
-
So, the greed of the rich is repressing the poor. If you take wealth that you haven't earned, if you think someone else should pay more so you pay less, if you think you are entitled to someone else's stuff, is the one taking demonstrating greed as well? The rich are getting more wealthy at the expense of the poor and on the backs of their workers.
