  1. A better question may have been, why have you decided to carry an AR/AK pistol? Or, are you confident with your concealment rig so as not to upset the sheep at Walmart? The folks here who pack in long guns are very aware of the mobs' view on visible firearms.
  2. Would goods and services be 2% - 4% cheaper without plastic? Like OS, I use my CC simply for free perks and pay by phone when the charge posts. Always have some folding money in my pocket.
  3. Does anyone know which (if any) 75B variants were equipped with the omega trigger and left hand controls?
  4. Get the Led out
  5. You'd think for $300+ million for the Lawson Athletic Center, they could put a better product on the field.

Through a series of fortunate trades with the same guy beginning 5 years ago, I now am a proud owner. Initial impressions: Grip contour and shape is very similar to a 75B and my Bowie Tactical G19/26 with grip reduction. Slight palm swell, front and rear checkering is more agressive than I like, more of a personal preference vs. negative attribute. Ambi controls are awesome, especially for a lefty who has always had right handed pistols. Internet reviews state slide stop release is stiff, it is. I have to use my thumb and trigger finger and actuate by depressing both sides of the stop. I like the forward slide serrations from experience with my P01 SDP. Upgraded 3 dot trijicons. I prefer 3 dot vs. the Kahr "dot-the-I" and Heine straight 8. The trigger in dry fire seems too good to be true. Resting position with the small back strap is about the same as my 75B Omega in SA. Pulling to the break point is smooth and reset is shorter than my Omega with almost no take up. First run at the range, 250 rounds of assorted flavors, no malfunctions and acceptable accuracy. Rides great in my old generic holster, I love repurposing.
  8. I believe God created dogs to ultimately be human companions. Without dogs, it is uncertain if humans move from hunter/gatherers to farmers. Why do we get so attached? Creation, domestication, or evolution, science may explain it... http://www.sciencemag.org/news/2015/04/how-dogs-stole-our-hearts http://science.sciencemag.org/content/348/6232/333.full
  9. I like this target as well, for me it truly visualizes why shot placement is so important.
  10. Saturday at Bud's with my new-to-me CZ P10C.
  11. Uncle Mike's Ankle Holster for my Kimber Micro.
  12. From Dave Grossman The sheep generally do not like the sheepdog. He looks a lot like the wolf. He has fangs and the capacity for violence. The difference, though, is that the sheepdog must not, cannot and will not ever harm the sheep. Any sheepdog who intentionally harms the lowliest little lamb will be punished and removed. The world cannot work any other way, at least not in a representative democracy or a republic such as ours. Still, the sheepdog disturbs the sheep. He is a constant reminder that there are wolves in the land. They would prefer that he didn’t tell them where to go, or give them traffic tickets, or stand at the ready in our airports in camouflage fatigues holding an M-16. The sheep would much rather have the sheepdog cash in his fangs, spray paint himself white, and go, “Baa.” If only the mob would or could understand my perspective for defensive firearm ownership. If tactically sound, based on my skill set, they could very well benefit from my presence in an close encounter of a bad kind.
  13. I saw OS post in the Blade Forum link. Assuming it's our OS, I am curious about his experience. If anyone still has a Ginsu...
  14. Ron Padilla and GjohnsonIV are the first to come to mind. George has done some work for me, new pocket holster, modified two tuckable into non tucks.
  15. See if you can commission another custom from one of our TGO holster makers. Using your old rig as a template with your input on modifications, I'll bet you'd like the finished product
  16. I bought from Scott and Alex, felt their prices were in line for an independent fighting amongst big boxes and the internet. Some of the consignment pieces were Armslist / Obama-era pricing... The are winning in the personality, build rapport and relationship battle.
  17. Jimmy ain't too meek, first post is an advert in a another new member's intro thread...
  18. Adhesive in a syringe? We used it for resilient (vinyl, vct) Slightly different situation but if you can access the void and weight down the board it may work
  19. I haven't spent a nickle on professional game playing in years not going to start now. Had no idea they had to be paid to show patriotism, always assumed sports team were present at the National Anthem. I do understand Colin K's protesting police brutality against African Americans by kneeling during the National Anthem. Here is where it has gone the rails. The folks with the narrative of "we chose national anthem because it represents the systemic exploitation of Africans Americans and preserves the underlying truth, white cops are now the modern overseers of the Black population." Colin's intent and messaging has devolved to a emotionally charged atmosphere of race, entitlement, ingratitude, and mob mentality. If the NFL would support a league wide movement for awareness, hold players to a minimal standard of, "don't do stuff to get the cops called on you," and invest the time off the field of play, they may have more success and positive impact Unless of course, it is only convenient to protest for 3 minutes per week while on the clock.
  20. Good luck, it is hard. Some tricks I used to win: only smoke outside, when a craving hits - fight it for 5-7 minutes, and ask God for His help! I talked to Him and my friend Jesus quite a bit, had to, nicotine withdrawal turned me into quite the asshole and reduced my tolerance level to near zero. I did not go cold turkey, my last and final victory was aided by e-cigs.
  21. I checked out the FB page, yes from Sudan but not obviously an orthodox, chop your head off, practicing Muslim. Until more facts are offered, I agree with Erik's post
  22. I quit the 8th and final time about 4 years ago. Still miss it and could fire one up right now. Outside of the health impact, I always have folding money in my pocket and buy fewer soft drinks from the quickie Mart.
  23. I'm not sure what they're protesting. Anthem is a reminder of slavery? Anti-Trump messaging? White NFL owners (who, but the way, are portrayed as the new slave owners specifically, and professional sports in general as being modern slavery by the Nation of Islam) Anyone who supports or dares to agree with anything Trump says or does? Minorities are viewed and treated as second class citizens by the professional sports industry or viewers? Minorities are not given the same chance or opportunity as professional game players? All of the above? Outrageous my tax dollars were given to an industry of entertainers. Interesting it was all good when the checks were issued and everyone pretended to play nice under President Obama
  24. "Wanted to see how fast they could fly," when filmed MISSING a shot (or three) Great personality, shame the industry lost him in 2013
