  1. On buying pants, concur with get a good belt! I have 2 1.5" belts and fit almost all of my business and casual belt loops. I think I read on the internet that the best way to fit for IWB is take your gun. I do and no I'm not scared to be pants down in the dressing room. If I need khaki, I grab my waist size +1 in 2 or 3 different brands. I pull them on and with no belt, slide gun and holster in to see how much clearance plus or minus I need and get properly sized pants.
  2. I've got a N82 Tactical but carry at 10-11 o'clock. I will give an endorsement for quality of design, construction, handgun retention and comfort. I have worn this holster for two days of training in dead of summer and it never sweated through. I laid hundreds of yards of carpet tiles helping out my crew, from 7 am to 3 am. Sweating, up and down, hands and knees, humping boxes and buckets of adhesive and my CZ P01 never came loose and holster never really shifted. I carried a CZ75B edc with this holster for years and it's still my go to for my heavier and or larger framed handguns. I like the single clip, what I don't like is the large sweat shield makes it more difficult to get a nice high and deep grip when drawing.
  3. Do you know how many unprepared food items I could stockpile with $600? Not just rice and beans and pb&j. ..healthy nutritious flavorful meals with leftovers. When the guv'mint controls your very sustenance of food and shelter, they have a lot of power. The Looter's State of America is running out of people to loot. Who is John Galt?
  4. OG or not how brain dead can anyone be about taking a gun through security? Drugs, you probably got a shot, but cone on you meth heads and drug users, the airlines will happily check your firearms.
  5. +1 on a 3" SP. If you got extra cash, send it to Marc at Gemini Customs. His mechanical and finish work is superb.
  6. Don't forget about MetroArms, another Phillipine import. I had a commander and I believe Dolomite still carries his full size.
  7. I'm in it to win it! Thanks for posting!!!
  8. Thanks for the info, I should be compliant as I don't drink and carry and pay attention to gun buster signage. I assume the casino is posted based on Harrah's Cherokee.
  9. And I'll probably head across the river to the casino in indiana. Handgun with a TN HCP: yeah or nay in the state of Indiana?

The VZ 58 imports are substantially more, $1000 price point. Czechpoint is a knoxville based importer. www.Czechpoint.com worth the extra scratch? No clue...
  11. For 450 otd, you've got some great options new and used. My only advice is to handle multiple handguns to see which one fits your hand the best.
  12. Had no idea it was out, I'll keep my eye on Netflix.
  13. I'll bet even Chuck Norris would think twice about mixing it up with this Popeye. Surprised no one has commented on his name, not only a proper noun but also a hurtful, insensitive adjective describing his ocular and facial challenges.
  14. How much was the 9?
  15. Jesus said the world will hate you because of me; simply approach your enemies with grace, peace and love. Let your actions reflect His light!
  16. I don't have a problem with the uniform it seems appropriate for the terrain and current mission. I agree with Ugly, when LE starts taking on the "look" of paramilitary, I start thinking about countries in central and south America where the line between the policia and federales gets fuzzy. Hope they catch this murderer but methinks suicide by police will be the end result
  17. I don't have to give them up since guv'mint is trying very hard to take them.
  18. ...want to know. ..
  19. You could customize a Smith or ruger through Marc at Gemini Customs. If you already own one, you save that on your budget for more work. My 3" SP from Marc is pretty sweet. I also endorse a Python. Heirloom and collectible, but how much would you shoot it?
  20. I've got a pair of SP101s, a 2" & my 3" from Gemini, so I'm a little biased. Just remember it takes 3" barrel to start getting true .357 bullet performance without buying boutique ammo developed for short barrel (snub) guns
  21. [quote name="BigK" post="1188871" timestamp="1410456736"] If I could have only one handgun, it'd be the CZ P-01.[/quot I've got the SDP version, It's my go to gun. For deeper concealment it's an MK9
  22. I've got the same hat...really! Dad went to Pakistan years ago and got me one as a souvenir. I am slightly darker than you so I don't wear it out and about here in east TN. Keeping you in my prayers! Chronic pain and the feeling of being trapped sucks and will challenge your positive attitude. Keep up the good fight and keep smiling!
  23. I'd start "hoarding" glock mags. Your JR in 9mm is pretty effective to 50-100 yards, it's the same caliber as your handgun and shares mags. What about 33 round glock mags for your carbine?
  24. Why do you think carpet is now sold by the square root instead of yards? The population was too stupid to do the conversion. If you're too stupid to figure out how lumber has been measured and sold for years, Maybe you are too stupid to operate a hammer. "Those folks at lowes home depot been screwing us for years...I paid for 2x4. I got 1.5 x 3.5 I should have been charged less..."
  25. I stopped in right after they opened, any update on when the range will be open?
