I'm getting one in the very near future after a lot of looking and thinking... Mall Ninja tacti-cool - yep, makes me want a Jeep with no doors like in the Rat Patrol. Infinitely practical - absolutely! Minimalist, easy access, keep your shot gun specific accessories / tools / extra ammo all in one package and easy to transport...I'm in. Solid dark color for urban tacti-cool, camo for rural.

As far as reliability - perfection with both fmj and jsp I'm ok to 50, my friend is superb to 150, so in capable hands... I'm an about 99% it's s a Bavarian import, Intrac's import stamp is well done on the underside of the barrel, slightly rear of the front site band. 1943 Underwood Receiver / 1944 Inland Barrel and even an RMC handguard. The only issue is fully loaded 30 round mags sag in the well, no issues with the 15s

I've got both the .30 carbine and 9mm HP in an ATI-storm-knock off, just trying to figure out if based on my needs (no long distance target shooting or hunting) if I could possible (and realistically) justify something that gets used even less than the few long guns I already have. Since I have a pair of SP101s, a .38/.357 lever action would be cool...

Good question! Plinking and home defense.

Out of a carbine... Excluding price and availability, which would be the better choice? 9mm .38/.357 .30cal carbine 2.23/5.56 7.62x39

I'm at a cross roads. I don't hunt or shoot past 100 yards, so my carbine is perfect for home defense and zombie like scenarios. Ammo is a little pricey but I don't burn through a bunch so it's not painful to slowly build up reserves. Spare parts are plentiful so I could also slowly get stuff to "re-arsenal" down the road. I can replace the front hand guard with rail from Fulton Armory and invest in a good quality optic, though it would be in front of the action. Is this a good set up option? Or I buy a modern carbine in a more popular rifle calibe and add the optics?

These brilliant men had such command of the written English language that they were able to write with such clarity of meaning. It applied not only to their time but for the future, regardless of the advances in technology. It can get sticky when you consider what some of our technology can do... -

Disciplining kids in mixed relationships is hard as I can attest to with a 22 year old stepson. He earned the occasional spanking but I never used a belt. If you are still needing to employ whippings at 9-10, you may have s potentially long row to hoe -
Here's a very easy and biblical solution. Since you have an idea of her basic needs, buy it and leave it on the porch when no is looking or have it delivered using the same address for the "sent from" pretty cheap using priority mail from the good old USPS. Matthew 6.3 / 6.4 "don't let your left hand...and, give in secret.."

You could try calling bud's in Sevierville or Bills outpost in Maryville. They both seem to have a decent selection of mini's in stock, you might luck out.

The box of Aquilla 60gr I traded to Dolomite was purchased pre - scare for $5/50 + tax/stamp. -
I think someone posted $20/hour

Considering a VZ 58 from czechpoint is north of $800, that's a great deal. What are the prime differences between a 58 and a 2000?

I hope bud's online and in state continues to do well. Until the state of TN decides bud's is NOT two separate entities, my guess is TN Internet shoppers will enjoy low price and no tax. For those who like to buy in person, they will pay "extra" for the expense of brick and mortar, employee expense and sales tax...

I like both the Desantis Nemesis and Remora for a generic pocket holster, but he Remora gets the nod

If I didn't have any revolvers in .38/.357 and most of my autos where 9mm I'd seriously consider it. I had a .38 LCR and thought the trigger was superb out of the box. I liked the weight and shootability of the gun. From my observations buying plinking ammo, 9mm off the shelf has always been $4-$6 cheaper / 50 than comparable .38 What I want to know is why SD ammo in 9/.38/.357 all happens to run $1 - $1.25 per round.

What kind of belt do you wear with your holster?
A.J. Holst replied to jeff43's topic in Firearms Gear and Accessories
I use my two holsters for both. 5.11 Tactical casual, burgundy in color and a black Goodrich and Gould. Both are 1.5", fits 90% of all my casual/business pants and shorts, bought off the shelf at Greene's in Knoxville and both were sub-$40. -
I'm pretty sure the operation of the sp/gp/srh is identical. After removing the grips, this is the next step for disassembly. Cock the hammer and the hammer strut will travel down. You should see a hole drilled in the strut. Insert mystery pin here. Pull trigger/ ride hammer forward, pin will catch on the mainspring strut. You can now remove the hammer strut subassembly.

Ask her for help. It's for her stuff, she needs to access it, where does she want it placed? I like the ideas of mounting in / to and existing piece of furniture. Maybe you could find one about 36" cubed. Drape with some kind of cover and it could replace and become a night / end / accent table.

Next step is guv'mint will try to introduce and pass laws against relocating your business to another state...due to the dreadful impact on those down trodden people at the trough who are dependent upon the tax revenues guv'mint exports from businesses to feed the looters...playing the guilt card, "see how greedy those people are, they have more than enough and are not willing to throw alms to the poor." Who is John Galt?
