Beautiful build! Seen this on the other site and thought I had seen it before!

that's exactly what he was talking about

AR'S are the Legos of the gun world. You can start with a plain Jane m4 and then go from there. I would look into palmetto state armory. I have 6 of their rifles and not a single problem with any of them. Just stick with a simple AR and as you learn the platform and what works for you then you can change or add stuff

I have a 300 BLK pistol right now and held one of the sig pistols with the brace on it Monday at Gander mountain and now I have one on order. I LOVE the brace!!

What discount code takes it down to $18? I'm showing $20/box. -
Derailed by the AKs. Shame. Hahaha just messing with ya. I have tried my best to like AKs and I own a vz58 but that will probably be the extent of my 7.62x39 collections as AR'S are just too sex and I can change anything out on them!

I picked up 5 boxes. I have been reloading for my subs but this was a pretty good deal so I couldn't pass it up.

I've had 4 different dissipators and love them. Midlength gas systems and magpul rifle rails

What do those usually cost?

I have been debating on going the trust route for some time. I have an SDN-6 in jail right now but am getting ready to form 1 an SBR and but a few more cans so looks like the trust route would be the way to go. My question is are trust super complicated or pretty simple? I follow a company on Facebook and they are offering trusts for $95 right now which they usually charge $295 for. Should I stay away from them and pay a good bit.more or would this be perfectly fine? Here's the website if you guys would like to look at it and check it out. http://www.coyoterifleworks.com/nfa-trust/

I believe he's just at a gun show. If he sells out he can leave the show and go fish. I may be wrong though

I have been reloading foe about two years now and enjoy it as much as shooting. Today I was trying to find a 175gr SMK load foe my .308 and the best group at 200 yards had the highest extreme spread and hughest standard deviation. From all my research I have heard that the most accurate load should have the lowest ES and SD. This load is very accurate at 200 yards but an ES of 37 and a SD of like 25. Plus its only running 2560 FPS or so. Don't have exacts as my data isn't here. I hot another load that's probably around an inch and a half with the ES of 8 and a SD of 4 or so. What says you guys.

What's the lowest you guys have had your 300 blk cycle? I shot some of my first subs today and the chrono showed 884 FPS. I'm shooting a 10.5" PSA upper in pistol configuration. Standard car buffer. 11.2 gr of AA1680 over 220 SMK. I've only ran about 30 rounds through it. Brass ejected about 2 ft right where it should. Didn't know what to think about this.

Surefire vs Streamlight vs Fenix vs 4Sevens vs Other
CM1021 replied to GlockSpock's topic in Firearms Gear and Accessories
I have the streamlight Protac 1L. Bought it new about 3 years ago and it goes everywhere with me. If I'm in uniform it's in my pants pockets and when I'm not working it is in my jeans. It has been dropped in the river, ran over with a fourwheeler, and countless other things. It goes everywhere with me and has never let me down. I'm getting ready to order the 2L so it fills my hand a little bit more. You ca't go wrong with streamlight -

I went into a gun store up here yesterday morning and they were holding back some boxes for people. I didn't really take offense to it because it was the first time I had visited the store so I'm not exactly a regular. -
This is the best news I've heard all week!!! I will be ready for you to take my money!!

Honestly I like them More than I do an AK. I know I know, ohh the horror. But hear the me out. They have last round hold open which I love. the safety I like better then the AK. and they just look awesome. They're milled out of a bar of metal. I mean what more can you ask for?? The triggers aren't anything to write home about and I have been looking for way to improve it but I think by doing improvements it might compromise the integrity so I have just gotten used to it. My front sight is canted and I'm trying to fix that. I have always been an AR guy and this got me into the 7.63X39 world. I have always thought the AKs were uglier than sin, BUT, functional so I could never write them off. They are a compromise to me between an AR and an AK. I don't think you will be dissapointed. Here's the ones at AIM. they are sold out right now but keep an eye on them. For what all you get it's a great deal. Mine come with the fixed stock and I can't comment on the folding one but I think I might like to have the folding one just to make it compact. http://www.aimsurplus.com/product.aspx?item=F1CVZ2008

I have a century vz. They are technically called a vz2008. It's a good rifle. AIM had somw for a great price($450 I believe) a few weeks ago with mags, bayonet, sling and a few other things

I have the 4-16X in the FFP version and you can't go wrong with vortex!! Their warranty is second to none! You did well.

I have been wanting one for a long time. I just can't ever save up my pennies to that much before something else comes along! Lol

+1 for what dolomite said. It also depends in if you want this gun to be a precision gun or just a "plinker." I say plinker that way because some 5.56 chambers can be pretty accurate. But if your wanting a sub MOA gun go with a .223 or to throw something else in the mix a .223 wylde chamber. Fwiw all my guns are either 5.56 or .223 wylde. I have an 18" SPR clone and it will shoot .5"-.75" with my handloads so it can be done with a "looser" chamber.

I will just agree with what others have said. I have bought kits, pieced ARs together, and built just lowers and Vought uppers. It all depends on what you want to do with the gun and how much you want to spend. Check out palmetto state armory as well...great products at amazing prices! And swing by ar15.com it has everything you would need to know about ARs and they have a place to buy and sell where you can pick up things for a great price.
