Fed Govt Takes Over Tennessee Festival
JWC replied to Mister L's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
All lanes except for 1 of 4th Ave, Craighead, and 8th Avenue will be closed to make way for rapid transit. Ya might be ok on 4th, it's one way most of the way better keep a heads up on the other two because both directions of traffic will have to use the same lane. Oh and this won't speed up travel or convenience it's just a good way to blow a couple million dollars. Lol -
School says deaf boy's name sign looks too much like a gun
JWC replied to TSprint1's topic in General Chat
My brother in law signs me as the motion of using a fishing reel. He chose it not me. Sign names can be funny. . My bil is special needs along with deaf but he has a good sense of humor. His aunt's sign name is the same as toilet. -
Marco Rubio On Hannity Last Night discussing Immigration
JWC replied to JG55's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
I think what I was trying to get at is wouldn't it be advantageous for someone here working legally to make themselves illegal? -
I bought 130# for $50 last week and I thought I done good.

Marco Rubio On Hannity Last Night discussing Immigration
JWC replied to JG55's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
I work in construction. I have met many that are in the country working legally and i have come to believe that many would like to become citizens and assimilate. However I think citizenship through naturalization for these productive members is somewhat out of reach (or they think it is being relatively uneducated, lower paid, and employed in jobs that do not allow for the time and travel required) what happens to these people? Are they just screwed over and have to go the hard route or forget about it or do they go off the grid and make themselves illegal to gain the amnesty offered? -
Then I would probaby consider you more refined than the typical Walmart shopper I see when I go in there. Lol
-
Was this in Hermitage? Had to have been, cause I looked at that same AR and said "damn what kinda Walmart shoppers are gonna come in here lookin' to buy a $2000 rifle?" And I thought in the truck on the way home "i bet that's the most expensive, in stock, single item in that entire store" If it was thanks for leaving me the 22's

Hermitage Walmart had 1 1000rd Winchester M-22 this evening when I went in to buy jar lids for my strawberry jam making. It isn't there now. With that I am done buying anything else.

We replaced the iron pipe in the house last summer. In preparation I went into the basement bathroom to remove the drywall in the ceiling to access it. I barely touched the line with a piece of drywall, it went through it and all the water in the line hit me right in the face. I despise plumbing. On another note I always thought a neat waterproof tub type deal under sinks would be a good invention.

The citizens voted for it and approved it in a majority. I think that's probably the right way to do things. Now on the mags/gun issues, gun owners just got f'd. That should've (should be) put to a referendum too.

Do you really need to change your oil every 3,000 miles?
JWC replied to Volzfan's topic in General Chat
I change mine once a year right before we leave to go to FL for Thanksgiving. drove about 4000 miles last year. Pretty much the same on my wifes van. When I changed them last year they both had about the same mileage. We just don't really drive far (Wife is a stay at home mom and I have a company truck) i'm a 5k mi guy though if we did drive more. -
I bet if there was a dead hooker they would've said it was yours and no one elses.

Obama maybe the most successful President EVER
JWC replied to JG55's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
My nephew's in med school. I'm worried about his future. Then again I know when we're screwed by the health care system he can take care of us without dealing with the system. -
You can buy peanut butter at the deli in Publix... Peanuts, peanut oil, salt. We get natural PB from a friend of my wife's grandma down in FL. It's just peanuts and a little peanut oil and the nuts still have the skin on em so it's a little grittier and I like it. If you like it salt ya gotta salt your sandwiches though, lol. I ain't never understood why they feel like they gotta add so much chit to something that oughta be simple??? It's like they go outta their way to make it harder. Just grind some damn peanuts and put em in a jar.

Benghazi, AP phone, and IRS scandals. Changing minds?
JWC replied to Randall53's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
I thought the same thing. I also thought "Who can fire these gd people? Can Congress say: You don't talk, you don't work. You're fired. Look for a box from UPS with your personal items from your office in it... GTFO of here before I have you arrested for trespassing" like they should've done this morning. I mean she still gets a paycheck from us.She can choose to not incriminate herself all day but she don't need to get paid doing it. Screw her Is that guy the only one that can fire her azz? Which leads to another thought. We The People do not vote for these mf'n commissioners that are screwing us all. They are appointed. Anything they do at all IS the appointers responsibility and liability. They can't say they're appointed by the previous guy if they still allow them to work. Therefore in my mind they can hang that guy no matter if he's directly tied to it or not. It's still his gd fault directly. No matter wth they say. -

Why couldn't you tumble with 2 part epoxy fiberglass resin with no paint? You could tint if you want. May be cheaper than paint.
