I have a pretty dang comfortable stand too. I'll sit longer than i mean to sometimes. A comfortable stand is important. it keeps you still and out there. People give me a hard time about sleeping but dang it I like to nap in the woods. It's a good place to sleep.

usually after opening day and Labor Day i have a sweet bruise on my shoulder (and normally my bicep from it slipping down or straight up shots) But I love my A5 Sweet 16 and I'm just not a pu$$y so I deal with it. I always blamed the beatdown on the shells. usually the only available are Remington Game Loads, and to me theyre more like Medium game loads than light. They aren't low brass when you look at them. It's all good if you shoot 10 times but if you shoot 10 boxes it wears on you. My BPS 12 and 870 12 with light dove loads arent the same. i never have but I'd like to shoot a 16ga gas gun to compare to an Auto 5. An 1100 16ga would probably be a nice dove gun.

Recently??? I could use some. Dove hunting is the only time I shoot the ol Browning so I buy it when I can. But Bass Pro has been my most reliable source the last couple seasons.

Regarding this story (I saw the kids picture on news report) I found it most odd there were black people in Cocke County. I say use whatever name you want. My wife wanted to be sure we used names that would typically make sense as a successful person and we wanted to honor family members. There's a lot of childrens names nowadays that it's hard to imagine them as a successful and distinguished adults. To me Messiah really ain't all that bad and could be worse. Sounds like the nice old school custodian's name or something like that. Lol

I bought a crossbow last year just for something different. It worked, I love it. I think a crossbow is just as difficult as bow hunting. Especially if you have to deal with weilding the dang thing in a stand. But it's hella fun. I have a Wicked Ridge Invader. It shoots pretty dang good. But i had a hard time deciding when I bought it. There's several out there that are good. And there's much to be said about Excaliber recurve style. I bought mine from wyverncreations.com. He usually has good prices.

Why embassy closures and warnings? previously when there's been a real threat and investigation they kept it quiet and investigated. Sure seems like a scheme to get people all riled up. IMO it's just a ruse, ain't nothing gonna happen. A false flag warning. I mean the writing was in the wall for the Benghazi attack but no warnings, closures, preparation, or any mention of it. Besides that anyone with any daggum sense never trusts that the terrorist muslims aren't up to something in an attempt to kill us anyway. To me there hasn't been a day I didn't expect a terrorist attack somewhere on Earth since Sept. 10th, 2001. And people are suprised by the scandals? Seriously, they trusted the government and believed this stuff wasn't happening all along? Naiveté.

Me and my old boss used to say we were born 150-200 years too late and we shoulda been mountain men or frontiersmen. I am reminded of this every day now it seems. Sure is a lot of stupid shit now and getting worse by the day.
