  1. I don't really like Fobus holsters. I prefer Blade Tech. However, I think Fobus made a great paddle holster for the Five Seven. It is what I use whenever I carry my Five Seven.

The thing I find amazing is all of the people who have convicted her, and haven't spent day one in the courtroom. I have no idea whether she is guilty or not, and I will never know. I am in agreement with MacGyver's comments.
  3. I never use my SERPA owb paddle holster for my Five Seven, but I don't see anything wrong with it. Just out of curiousity I pulled it out of the closet in the hope to see what everyone else is seeing. I guess I must be doing something wrong because I can't find anything wrong with it. Whenever I am drawing my handgun, even at fast speed, my trigger finger ends up perfectly with where it should be (right on top of the safety). Although I prefer a different non-retention holster, I would be totally comfortable carrying the SERPA holster.
  4. My FNH Five Seven.

Based on what I am seeing, I don't think you need a match grade barrel or a new trigger. You seem to be doing fine without them.
  6. Nice. I agree that our fight for freedom is a never-ending battle. While you have laid one weapon down in defense of that freedom, you have picked up another, your voice, to continue on with the struggle.
  7. Had a major typo in my original post. I don't believe all should be deported. I have always held the belief that those illegal immigrants who do not have a criminal record and can support themselves and their families without any form of government assistance should be allowed to stay. There are a lot of natural born citizens that don't meet that criteria. I know quite a few illegals and I have been somewhat sympathetic towards their reason for coming here. However, when I read or hear from some demanding handouts or rights that do not exist, my sympathy diminishes quite fast. It is an absolute shame that the government has allowed the situation to develop into the montrosity we currently face. Since the feds do not want to solve this problem, perhaps we should allow the states to enforce their own immigration policies.
  8. Do you think we will ever get some representatives, senators, and a president that will put a stop to all this nonsense? Thousands rally against Ga. immigration law - Washington Times While I am somewhat moderate (meaning I do think we should deport all of them) when it comes to immigration, when I see rallies such as these, it really ticks me off. Some of the statements made were, "We have earned the right to be here." "We have to fight for our rights." Really? What rights might those be, and when did sucessfully entering the country illegally designate that one has "earned" their citizenship? Ya know, it seems to me that if I was an open borders advocate that last thing I should be doing is giving the finger to the american citizens by demanding rights that do not exist. While the rally is dissappointing itself, to pull this type of stunt so close to the celebration our America's independence is down-right offensive.

  10. I have the Declaration as background on my computer, so I get to see it everyday. I am still in awe as to how wise our founding fathers were. It is too bad that we can't people in our Congress of similiar wisdom and character. Instead, we are stuck with people like Shelia Jackson Lee, Pelosi, Maxine Waters, Dick Durbin, etc... I would suspect that most of our representatives and senators would have been classified as Tories, loyal to the crown, back in the pre-revolutionary period.

Nice looking 1911 you have there. Congrats.
  12. That must be an old chart. It has our debt at 8.68 trillion, and we are currently around 14.1 trillion. Ya know the thing that amazes me is that the vast majority of people are confused on the concept of redistribution of wealth. If you ask them if they would break into someone's home or reach into another person's wallet and take something from them to provide for someone else in need. In most cases, the answer would be, "Certainly not. I am not a thief." However, a lot of those same people who think it is wrong to steal from someone else are totally in favor of the government doing that very thing.
  13. Just for future reference: R.I.N.O. (Republican In Name Only) While I hate to be so pessimistic, I believe it is pretty much inevitable that the fit will hit the shan in the future. Right now everyone is talking about a balanced budget ammendment. That is great, but it still doesn't solve the debt problem, and I'm not including the state debts. We are in such bad shape that it would be comical if it wasn't so scary.
  14. Excellent and scary book. I enjoyed reading it and have recommended it to several of my friends.

Same here. I thought it was just me.
  16. Just out of curiousity, I wonder how many women have been asked to step into another room and remove their burqas. I wonder how many people have been asked to remove their turbans so they can be searched thoroughly. I would be willing to bet that this rarely happens if it even happens at all. Why hell...we can't do that. I mean...that is insensitive and it is racial profiling. However, we have pay extra attention to those senior citizens and young children because of the enormous threat they pose. What is happening with the TSA is sheer lunacy and political correctness run amuck. Even though I have nothing but contempt for the way TSA operates, what enrages me more is all of the weak-kneed politicians who will not stand up to this administration and declare that enough is enough. The TSA needs to be abolished completely, and all security matters should be handled by the airline and any private security firms of their choosing. With the way the federal government handles things, God forbid if a terrorist is ever successful in discharging a bomb that he had shoved up his butt. If that happened, TSA would have all of us strip, squat, and cough before being allowed on a plane.
  17. Welcome
  18. Nice job. Hopefully the company use some common sense in their decision. This type of criminal behavior will only increase if the thieves know that they will not meet any resistance.
  19. Looks really cool. Will this be a class for only LEO or military personnel?
  20. Ya know, I have never understood why some people become so defensive when it comes to race. If I make a statement that most of the flash mobs I have read about or have seen on the news have been perpetrated by black teenagers/young adults, that in no way signifies that I think that most black teenagers are hoodlums. The same thing can be said about the disproportionate racial demographics within our prison systems. I don't know how you guys feel, but I get tired of all the pc crap from the media, politicians, and others that when you cite some statistics that put a minority in an unfavorable light, you get branded as a racist or there is an undertone of racism just by pointing it out. I could be taking all of this wrong, and I apologize if I am, but I see and hear so much of this type of nonsense in the media that it has become incredibly frustrating that one's motives are questioned by stating a fact that has been backed up statistically.
  21. I don't know what y'all are complaining about. Those 95 year olds are incredibly dangerous. Hell... they could bring down a plane with a set of dentures. TSA is very much like our president in that they both have to go in 2012.
  22. Yep, they are nice. I love my CQB. What model did you get to shoot?
  23. Yes, if I was asked to go to yoga class I would most certainly go.
  24. Yoga? I just knew there were a bunch of sissified pansies on here.
