  1. Being a fan of CR fixed blades, I would agree. However, you can't legally carry the Pacific unless it is for hunting, camping, etc... The only 4 inch or less CR fixed blades that I know of are the professional soldier (great knife) and his one piece design, which has been discontinued. A 4 inch one piece such as a Shadow III is also a fantastic knife, but since they have been discontinued and the demand is high, prices are really going up fast.

Hey Einstein, perhaps you should reread your's. I guess I must have missed the part where it is considered good Christian-like behavior to engage in a personal attack by calling someone MF on an open forum. I disagree with Tresoso, and while I cannot speak for him, I don't thnk he would truly accept a forced sterilization program. I could be wrong, but I took it as frustration talking. Forced sterilization is certainly not the answer. However, the assistance programs need to be restructured so they are not rewarding bad and/or irresponsible behavior. Personally, I would prefer that assistance programs be administered through the local level via private organizations, charities, and churches. They seem to have a better grasp on who actually needs assistance versus those who are milking the system.
  3. Your understanding is not very good. Additionally, why would you come on an internet forum and freely admit you are breaking the law (according to your understanding)? Even though you are not breaking the law, unless you knife is over 4 inches, it still isn't very smart. There is a thread that shows what the TN knife laws are.
  4. I'm sorry, but if you pastor believes that then he is an idiot.
  5. I am sure there is enough blame to go around.

  7. I can't believe y'all are hatin' on the prez. You all must be racists.
  8. Of those that have seen the knife, any thoughts on buying one? I do not have a 350, but I have a 300, and it is my everyday carry. The knives are fantastic and extrememly durable. Due to how pleased I have with been with my 0300, I preordered a ZT0561 the other day, which is a collaboration with Hinderer. If it is anything like the quality of the 0300 series, it should be a fantastic knife as well. Anyone else getting a 561?
  9. And who says the media hasn't overhyped the coverage? Thanks for posting.
  10. Looks like some neighborhoods in Detroit.
  11. I was in Myrtle Beach this week. We got some big waves Friday evening (~10 feet), a lot of wind, and intermittent periods of heavy rain. It wasn't all that bad. I was out walking the beach and driving around that evening. Come Saturday morning, everything was gone except the wind, which wasn't terrible (20 - 40 mph gusts). I always thought the media was over-hyping this hurricane. I sometimes got the impression that some in the media wanted it to be really bad so they could create a narrative on how great a leader Obama was in the aftermath. If the media and the government keep making mountains out of mole hills, the public is going to become desensitized to their warnings and ignore them. If that happens, I couldn't imagine how disastrous it would be if we got a really nasty storm.
  12. From the information I could find, the 9" and 5.5" Kathathus were hand ground by Scott Cook, whereas the 7.5" and 4" were hand ground by Chris Reeve. Well... I don't need any money, so I guess I will keep it. Thanks.
  13. I'm feeling pretty good right now. I just got back home from a week long golfing trip at Myrtle Beach. I spoke to the people at Chris Reeve Knives and they told me they would reissue a certificate and box for my knife if I send it in to them for a total cost of $14. I thought that was pretty cool of them. I was browsing ebay a moment ago, and I noticed someone has a 5.5' Kathathu for sale. The auction still has a day to go and the price has already reached > $1100. If I wanted to sell it, I could make a serious profit, but I think I am gonna hang on to it for a while. Steve, do you think this knife will continue to increase in value, or do you think it has pretty much plateaued?
  14. I have a Sig X5 L1. It is absolutely a fantastic shooter. The only other gun that I have shot that I think is better is my Nighthawk Custom Talon FLX 2011. I can grip the Nighthawk a little better than the Sig.
  15. My top choice was Paul at 79% with Gingrich next at 77%.
  16. I like Benchmade knives, and that one looks really good. The only downside for me would be the weight. I am one of those weird people who doesn't like really light knives unless it is a neck knife.
  17. Ever looked at a Benchmade Griptilian? They can be had under $100. I used to have a Benchmade Presidio, and it was a great knife.
  18. My daily carry is a ZT0300, which I won off of ebay a while ago for $180. It is by no means a small knife, but I don't think it is overly large or heavy. I pretty much carry it wherever I go, and a lot of times I forget I even have it on me. It fits very nicely in my front pocket. So, if the ZT0350 is smaller and cheaper, then I say go for it. They are great knives. I have been very pleased with mine.
  19. It's a good thing I don't own any guns. If this happened to be ratified by the senate, which I doubt it stands a chance, then it wouldn't affect me.
  20. I don't have a problem with them, and I am not gay. The only time I wear one is when I go running. Try running with a holster on your hip. It sucks.
  21. Thanks. That made my day.
  22. Thanks. Send me a PM with contact information. Do you have any idea what the time frame is looking like on the 0561s? I would like to buy a couple of them if I could get them before Christmas.
  23. Well... In this situation, you are being threatened. The criminal is using deadly force, and even though he is directly threatening the cashier, there is no telling what he will do. He could turn at any moment and start shooting everyone he sees. You just don't know in situations like this. Therefore, if opportunity presents itself, eliminate the threat. I don't think that is being a hero. You are just protecting yourself and your family.
  24. Have y'all seen Paul's newest ad? I like it, but it sort of reminds me of an Alex Jones promo.
  25. It depends on how close I am. If I am close enough (10 yards or less) that I know I will not miss,I would step off to the side so I am only shooting into the bad guy and not the cashier and then 230 or 115 jhp (depends on what I am carrying that day) to the head.
