    Skyrim

Between Skyrim and the Mass Effect series, I can't really decide which one I like the most. Skyrim has been absolutely fantastic. It has been quite the bargain considering how many hours I have spent on it and I haven't really done anything in regards to the main quest and have only been to two towns.
  2. Hey folks, I have been shopping for quite some time for a new non-ZT folder. Since I really like Chris Reeve knives, I have been really looking at large Sebenzas. Well... I ran across one I really liked. I liked it so much that as soon as I saw it I immediately bought it. I ended up getting a double lugged large Sebenza with a custom graphic of the Gadsden flag snake and motto "Don't tread on me." This was a limited run of 20 for a Chris Reeve dealer. I chose number 13, which represents the number of colonies that fought in the Revolutionary War. This is an absolutely fantastic knife, as are all Chris Reeve knives. Here are some pics of my new knife. Uploaded with ImageShack.us Uploaded with ImageShack.us Uploaded with ImageShack.us
  3. I have bought several cases of ammo from them in the past. I have never had any problems with them.
  4. I don't even know why this is being debated right now. There is no way this is going to make it through the senate much less the white house. I think this issue is nothing more than pandering by the house republicans to their base to focus their attention away from all the crappy things republicans have done during this term like not defunding Obamacare, caving on the debt ceiling, etc... The federal government needs to stay out of this.
  5. I would like to know if you have any issues with regards to ammo. There have been numerous threads on the web in regards to the 41's pickiness towards certain kinds of ammo.
  6. I think wilis68 has one. I have been contemplating buying one, but I have yet to make the $400 plus commitment. They look incredibly nice though.
  7. Very nice. I got one a few months ago as well. I think you will love the trigger.
  8. Sheesh. You carry over 3000 rounds with you everyday? Man, you must be strong as an ox. or You have shot over 3,000 rounds through your Kimber, and it is your EDC. ? Just messing with ya.

In the Bloodmoon expansion of Morrowind you could turn into a werewolf.
  10. 32. Styx - sticks on the ground
  11. Well... That 1911 isn't a SA. That was the pic I posted of my Nighthawk Custom T3. I actually changed the grips to the ultrathin Nighthawk Alumagrips. The Alien grips were just a little too much for my taste. In regards to your price range, I wouldn't rule out the new Ruger 1911. It is considerably cheaper than $1k. A lot of people who have bought one really like them.
  12. I know this is the 350 thread, but if you guys ever get a chance check out the ZT 300. It is what I carry everyday. A lot of people don't like it due to the weight, size, and it is more expensive than the 350, but it is a fantastic knife and built like a tank.
  13. Well... I got my pre-Fender Jackson SL-2H Soloist back from my brother. Uploaded with ImageShack.us I bought this guitar back in 2000 while I was in NYC visiting my brother. It was my favorite electric I ever owned or played. While I was at work today I heard "To Live is to Die" by Metallica. That was the very first Metallica song that I learned to play in it's entirety. I pulled out one of my guitars this evening and spent about 30 minutes running through some scales and various exercises. I then went to my bookshelf and grabbed my Cherry Lane songbook for And Justice For All. I flipped it open to "To Live is to Die" and started working through some of it. Sheesh, I suck so bad. I remember that song used to be so easy to play, but now it is just terrible. I really want to get back to playing, but I don't know if I will have the patience of relearning everything again. I wish I had never quit.

The graphics look fantastic. I am glad I upgraded my video cards to two GTX570s a couple of months ago. Hopefully I will be able to max out the settings and still get decent fps to really see how good this game looks. I was running Deus Ex Human Revolutions at 1920x1080 on my 30' HP with zero problems.
  15. That is my understanding on what its intention was. Heaven forbid I should say it though, I might be depicted as a radical.
  16. I just got in my CBZDP. It is very nice. It is really neat how they do those composite blades.
  17. Lighten up Francis. The reaction you posted is probably understood by less than 1% of the forum, if that much. Therefore, it comes off a little intimidating, intended or not. Since it is not complete as to what is happening within the system, it is somewhat misleading. As I stated in my post, there are many factors to consider in what was suggested before either accepting or dismissing it as being unsafe.
  18. Don't worry about it. Don't be intimidated by the GenChem 101 crap posted earlier. It is entirely wrong. It is way more complex than what was posted. I do this stuff for a living and have 15 years of experience, and I would have sit down for a few moments and think about how to balance out everything that is present in solution. As far as the article goes, the solution is fairly weak and is only mildly acidic (6.0 - 6.8). There are also sodium ions present from the sodium hypochlorite, excess sodium hydroxide, and from any additional additives such as sodium carbonate and sodium polyacrylate. While it is possible you may liberate a small amount of chlorine gas, the dilution, pH, and sodium ions present will limit that. My best guess based on a few quick and crude calculations would put this around 8 - 10 times stronger than your swiming pool. Even though I am not recommending this, I think you would be okay with this mix if used in a well ventilated environment. Normally, it is not very wise to mix hypochlorites with acids. If you use the wrong acid (concrete cleaner - hydrochloric acid) and the pH gets too low, then you could be into some trouble. Therefore, I don't know if I would recommend this procedure for a lot of people out there because it lowers the fear of mixing acids with bleach, which really isn't a good thing. Additionally, there are other alternatives available that are much safer. Concentrated peroxide solutions (~10% or more) have been shown to be very effective in killing mold. I believe that some people have started marketing and selling peroxy-based mold killers. Anyway, thanks for posting. I found some of the info questionable, but it was interesting nonetheless.
  19. Obama winning the election in 2008? Seriously. I would say the Black Death pandemic in the 14th century.

    Skyrim

I have all of the Elder Scrolls series, so I guess I will get Skyrim as well.
  21. Now, if you want to make the argument that Islam may not be responsible for suicide bombers because of those who are selected for suicide have been brainwashed, and they have been fed a distortion on the tenets of the Islamic faith. Well... that is a valid, although debatable, point. However, to suggest that suicide bombers are those who have made the decision to kill themselves and as many people as possible and then join Islam to find justification is just utter philosophical nonsense. There may be the individual who meets that criteria, but it would be such a rare case that it really has no grounding in reality.
  22. Nice. I really like the patina on the blade. Question. What is the purpose of the little notch at the base of the blade near the handle?
  23. As I was watching the Cain/Ginrich debate this evening, I was taking my M6A2 completely apart for a good cleaning. What I learned is that ARs are really nothing more than a bunch of Lego blocks. They are incredibly simple to put together. Even though my AR is very nice, I wish I hadn't been so intimindated in building one. My next AR will be one I put together.
  24. I forgot about the whole G-20 meeting. I thought he was over there to play St. Andrews and some of the other European courses.
  25. Well... I don't know if it is my next gotta have gun, but it is the next one I am getting. I have had a SA Professional on order since Sept. 2010. I was told last week that I should be receiving it at the first of the year.
