I'm guessing it would take shooting 5,000+ rounds the first year to make up the costs of the press and materials, then maybe 1k a year after that to cover the materials?

I'm looking at all the setups. I'm still waiting on my catalogs from Dillion, RCBS, Lyman etc. It will be awhile though since I sort of blew all my load on my AR and XD, I hate being poor.

I was looking at the RockChucker kit. I'm going to read a good book before I get started to be sure of what I'm getting myself into. I don't want to spend $600-$1k and find out it's not for me, which I doubt.

I would too. I have read nothing but good things about the XDs, other than the slide lock problem on the .40s.

I'm with Bob-E, I can't carry at work. Matter of fact I can't carry on to the property. What can we do, not a damn thing. There are to many stupid sheep who could care less if you are killed, as long as someone isn't offended or the down trodden get their way. In my case and Bob-e's case we wouldn't loose our CHL we would loose our freedom for life.

I don't think it would be redundant. Some of the topics could have dual purposes such as quick site acquisition and things like that. But topics like say zeroing a rifle or reloading topics don't really fit into the self defense forum.
