Middle Tennessee Police Profiting Off Drug Trade?
SithL0rd replied to waynesan's topic in General Chat
This. What about the people who do not believe in banks(seems they are the smart ones) who keep all their cash in their house. If their house were searched off a wrong address and they find $100k would it be seized? -
Thats beautiful! I'm having a midlife crisis and with gas so high I've been wanting to get one. Never ridden a full size bike in my life. Rode scooters back when I was younger.

I imagine in 5000 years when they are digging up all of our trash they will have beer bottles and coke cans and Styrofoam cups on display in some museum as 'Religious Artifacts' used in ceremonial and ritual situations.

Our power is still out in east memphis. Saw a MLGW guy doing a survey near the house. Stopped and asked if he had at least a guesstimate. Said maybe tomorrow. Just walking around my neighborhood theres several houses that just go flattened. Couple of side streets only got cleared around 1pm(approx 24hours later). Least it aint too hot or too cold.

Need to research before buying an android phone. while there are some awesome ones there are crappy ones too. If your brave you can head over to Android Forums & Windows Phone Discussion @ xda-developers for all the really cool stuff you can do with your phone. Nothing beats over-clocking your 1ghz phone to 1.2 lol.

I saw your post at work and I knew I could not read it there. I lost my mom Oct 16, 2009. Hard to believe it will be 2 years this fall as it only seems like yesterday. Now I'm home and I feel for you so much. So sorry.

Thing is with the AZ dude. All these folks knew he was crazy and dangerous and none reported the info to anyone that would matter. So really would a better background check have stopped him from getting a gun? I don't mind a background check and I really don't mind even a 3day waiting period but like those above me have said if dude had wanted a gun he could have gotten one illegally or even used a car or hell some dude went on a stabbing spree in china.

I'd rather be stuck behind a bike doing 20 than a soccer mom in a huge suv doing 30 talking on the phone while putting on her makeup. I live just 3miles from work but it seems every morning I see an almost wreck from someone weaving or running a light or pulling out in front of traffic.

I would not call a ipad an e-reader. I have a ipod touch and attempted to read books with the kindle app and after 15mins your eyes will cross. To read for long periods you need an e-ink display. Then theres the glare. I'm a voracious reader 2books a week if I'm rolling or the book is particularly good and my kindle is one of the best purchases I've ever made. I know someone with a Nook and they love it.

I have Norinco mak90 that I bought back in the late 90s that I'd like to get looked at. It was heavily modified with a folding stock mounted to the back and I'd like to see how/if getting it back to normal or tell me if this was standard.

I saw over on the Beretta forum that there is even a Compact coming out. Always wanted one of them and the used ones were just too expensive. Stoeger Cougar Double-Action, Auto-Loading Pistol

Nothing beats using multi-billion dollar satellites to find Tupperware in the woods! Its a ton of fun an wished I would do it more as it does give you a nice workout from the walk then the minutes you wander around tryin to find the cache lol

I've been using the Exclusive Chicken and Rice as well. The operators of the county Co-op back home talked my dad into trying it years ago for his 3 dogs. When I brought one up here with me the only place I could find around here that sold it was a feed store in Collierville. I take her on the 30min ride with me every 6 weeks.

OP here. I may not have presented my case the best as its kind of an emotional deal for me. She's not a bad dog and once someone is inside the house she's fine with people. Its outside where she's skiddish. She's actually gotten used to the neighbors/friends that come over and even the neighbors dog. I'm just scared she is going to snap at the wrong person or dog and as shes a big dog i can see her being labeled a 'pit bull'. That being said it maybe me overreacting and I just wanted some advice. I had already thought about the Petsmart classes as I've taken her there a couple times to get bathed/nails cut and the ladies there say shes fine with them.

Thanks for the help all.

Long story inc. After reading the other thread about pit bulls it made me want to post this. Couple of years ago a skinny rott started hanging around my parents place. After a couple of weeks my dad started feeling sorry for her and left out some food. She was very skiddish and would not approach anyone leading us to think she had been mistreated badly. Some months go by and she started coming up to my dad and letting him pet her but would approach no one else. Scared she was going to get hit by a car on the busy road they live on he built a fence for her to live in. Well before he got this done she got pregnant by some other dog that he has no clue what it was. She had a liter one nite and it was the next day before my dad found all the puppies dead cept for one. My mom commences to bottle feeding this puppy and she lives and my niece names her Miracle. Eventually the rott(Precious) and Miracle and my parents original dog, black lab all live in the house and get together fine. My mom passed away a year ago and almost immediately Miracle started acting up. Picking fights with her mother and generally not acting right. We all figured it was her just missing my mom. But she started getting worse to the point where the fights with her mother were drawing blood. My dad says he hates it but shes got to go. So instead of her going to the pound I bring her up to Memphis with me. Well of course its a big change and its been about 6months now and shes still skiddish around new people and does not play well at all with other dogs. When meeting new people I always tell them to watch out cause she will bite not out of meanness but she's scared. I cannot even leave her in the backyard alone because she starts howling like someone is beating here. To me it seems like she feels my mom left her and shes scared that I am too. Is there anyway to work with her to break her of this with her being bout 3years old? I want to be able to walk her and let people pet her without fear of her snapping at them. If anyone actually reads all this thanks
