  1. Sounds great 2 matches in July!!

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 2 of course it ate my spelling.

You are welcome to come out and to the Demo and check out the Range .....but this month is NOT a normal match.

I plan to schedule a match soon....  I still need to acquire more targets and props at this point.

I'm also looking for local help to make these events happen if anyone is interested.....

  2. I’m looking to help initiate some Tactical 3 Gun Competitions in Southern Middle TN.  In an effort to increase demand in my area, I’m offering a FREE 3-Gun Class/Clinic/Demo day in Summertown, TN.  Eagle Eye Shooting Complex has agreed to allow us the use of their range for this event and some club level 3-Gun Competitions.   This will be a good opportunity for people that have been considering starting 3-Gun to come out and get a better feel for what it’s all about.  We will spend a few minutes in the classroom covering the basics of 3-Gun and action shooting sports, then go out to the range where I will have a demo stage (maybe two) set up for those that want to try it out on the clock.   If you are interested or know someone that is, bring your guns and ammo and come try it out…. If you don’t have all the guns yet just bring your ammo and you can borrow mine.

This 3-Gun event is planned for 1pm on Sunday 7/13/14 at Eagle Eye Shooting Complex

Hope to see you there ... Mike

  3. A big thanks to Ryan and Alan along with the Randolph Brothers for making this match happen this weekend ....

I know it was a tall order with the Benelli match the same weekend....

It was good to see at least 7 of us managed to make both matches along with some friends form AL and GA stopping by on the way back home...

Keep up the good work..... I hope to make it again in July....

No excuses now... I'm guessing you will be on the shoot through plan so shoot stage 5 with us and I will load that tube fed SG for you if that's your concern....;-)

9.1.6 Frangible targets must break to score (one BB hole is a break).
9.1.7 Swinging style rifle targets must be struck solid enough to cause the hidden “flash card” to be visible to the RO. RO may call hits.
9.1.8 Failure to engage a frangible, knock down or swinging style target will result in a 15-second penalty (10 sec. for not making the hit and 5 sec. TNE).
9.1.9 Engaging a frangible, knock-down or swinging style target but not breaking it, knocking it down or causing the target to react will result in a 10 second penalty per target.
9.1.10 Procedural penalties, 5 seconds per shot, may be assessed for failing to follow the stage directions as written in the stage description.
9.1.11 Procedural penalties, 5 seconds, may be assessed for failing to follow stage procedures.

    9.2 Stage Points
9.2.1 First Place (lowest time) for each stage, in each division, will receive 100 points; Second Place and below will figure points on a percentage basis of the 100 from 1st Place.
9.2.2 Total points accumulated for all stages will determine the match placement by division.
9.2.3 Ties will be broken by an undisclosed Tie Breaker Stage designated by the Range Master.
