This is going to be strange, even for me.   I saw a preview for a show and I can't find out what is was now.   I don't remember allot about the preview, I believe it was similar to Cult or the Following but I believe it was something else.   In the preview, there was a guy casting lead for bullets and I believe he was craving symbols on them at the very end of the preview.  Any ideas what this might have been?

On stuff my local walmart has, I have been watching the prices increase as I buy weekly.  I have watched 10 round turkey 12ga shells go up 3 bucks in the past couple weeks.

Right now, I am not for this, as I believe it will hurt the small mom and pop liquor stores.   However if they do this, then liquor stores should be allowed to sell beer I guess.   Right now, I like the liquor store I use in Oak Ridge and I will continue to shop their and I do not plan on buying wine as a grocery store.

Well it was an entire shopping cart full of different size boxes, couldn't see them all.  yes I did read on some of them that they where actually turkey shot, but could not read them all as they were on the other side of the counter.

Now anyone considering their 3 day bug out pack should take a close look at that. AB28 has pretty much tested this or similar gear on the AT in the past.

I did not, after that.   Besides I picked up some turkey shot a few days ago.    Plus I noticed the only ammo that I seem to be able to buy is what I call Hunting Ammo. Turkey shot,  or .270 shells.    I was really hoping for some .22lr or mag, or .223 with that.

Just watch http://www.aimsurplus.com/ they get them in and they go.  But I have been seeing them get Mosin's   Or just check some pawn shops.    I was at my LGS and a gun was asking if he could get a mosin and really didn't seem to have an idea how much one should cost. He said he has about 300 to spend and the owner said I can get you a mosin for that, or I can get you one out the door for about 150ish.   Mosins can tell be had reasonable but you may have to shop just a bit.

Yesterday I walked back to sporting goods and I see a cart full of unopened brown boxes that appears to be the right size for ammo.   There is a couple filling out their paper work to by a gun.   I ask the guy behind the counter what they got in for ammo, he said he didn't know and couldn't check it until he was done with that sale.   I said I am next in line.   He screws around on that gun sale far to long.  While they are doing the paper work he just sits there.  OK fine, I guess do as little as you can.   After the background check comes back if he don't screw around for a good 20 minutes looking at the paperwork and then getting a manager to approve it Then another 10 minutes trying to break down a shotgun to put it back in the box.   Finally another woman that I have seen their regularly working back their breaks it down in about 2 seconds.    By now their is a line of people looking at these boxes, of course they haven't been tax stamped and such yet.  At least she pulls out the paper work and tells us what is there.   It is mostly  Remington 12ga Turkey Shot.   When everyone hear that they filled out as that stuff was already available on the shelf, but I ask about one box that I read Remington Small Arms Cartridges.  I ask about it, she said that was 12 ga as well.   Maybe that is how it is shipped but I never considered 12ga small arm cartridges.    I spent dam near45 minutes or more waiting to find out that was just 12ga shells.  I was not very happy.

CNN has also been called chicken noodle news.     I mean, they had to really dig around to find an expert source like that.

Don't know if you have time before you go, but it would be interesting to know what your starting out gear and gear weight will be.

I believe sinkholes will only continue to get worse for that reason.  Also due to oil/natural gas wells.   If I ever buy another house, the questions of drilling in the area may very well be on my list of questions.  (not much of a concern in cities but with luck I will get back to the country.

I found where they got under my house and I built a 1 way gate, so they could get out but not back in.  It seems to have worked for my situation.  

I heard yesterday morning they had all but called off the search then.   I am surprised we don't have more of them here in TN, we have allot of caves.   There was a sinkhole between Oak Ridge and Knoxville a few years ago on Pellissippi Parkway.   Normally sink holes grow over time, with little to no evidence on the surface until they go and then they go in a hurry.   One could probably test for them by drilling but no way to really test everyplace.

I thought about it once, after seeing it at the biltmore.  I said something about it to mom and she strongly encouraged me not to plant it.  At this point I am glad I didn't.

I got my 5 yesterday.  I don't feel bad, they used tax money to make these, I got something back in the time of budget cuts.   Serious, one for Each car, 1 for the house, 1 for my bag and an extra just in case.
