  1.   No, I think allot of us, naturally don't like that flag.  It gets the shock value instantly and makes our blood boil.   Many of us grew up listening to family members that fought in WW2.  Their values became part of our values.
  2. 1) Was I wrong to alert the traffic and get them to move over?   I don't see an issue with that.  I have flagged traffic around disabled vehicles until police arrived.  Officer only told me they had it and I could move. Even a red cross instructor said what I done was right.   2) Yes, I was carrying. If I had presented it, would that have been more wrong?   Yes, that would have been wrong.
  3. Magpul floods Colorado market with mags just before the new law takes effect.   http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2013/jun/30/magpul-floods-colorado-ammo-magazines-2-days-gun-l/
  4. second poster had it write 1st amendment. We can disagree and that is still our right.   BTW, an upside down American flag would have been a better choice in my opinion.
  5. I am with NoBanStan on Elysium looks good.
  6.   Look at the bid history on that.     6/23/2013 1:30:44 PM EST   $6,025.00 n***3 A+(2) *     6/27/2013 9:54:04 PM EST   $6,000.00 j***r A+(53)       6/27/2013 9:48:57 PM EST   $5,100.00 j***r A+(53)       6/27/2013 9:48:30 PM EST   $4,500.00 j***r A+(53)       6/27/2013 3:30:19 PM EST   $3,500.00 j***r A+(53)       6/27/2013 3:28:30 PM EST   $3,100.00 j***r A+(53)       6/27/2013 3:28:16 PM EST   $2,450.00 j***r A+(53)       6/27/2013 3:28:06 PM EST   $2,250.00 j***r A+(53)       6/23/2013 1:30:13 PM EST   $1,150.00 n***3 A+(2)       6/23/2013 11:26:20 AM EST   $1,000.00 T***7 A+(752)       6/23/2013 9:33:42 AM EST   $720.00 n***3 A+(2)       6/23/2013 12:58:53 AM EST   $500.00 s***t NR     Looks like n***3 A+(2) really wanted it ealry and then j***r A+(53) bet the farm on it.
  7. jpradyc Some group would have to organize an event like that.  The police aren't going to set it up.   However if they take part in the buy back, seems it would only be fair on an event like you suggest they would be willing to run serial numbers no questions ask of the person bringing it it before a transaction would be made. Then if a stolen gun turned up, they take it to return to the rightful owner.
  8. Saw this on FB earlier today.   My thought was suicide by cop.
  9. If a cop and a troll.  Could be baiting you.   Myself, I find it best to not feed trolls.
  10. Lets put a twist on it.   Still kind of a Terry stop that is out of control.   Also, think of it this way, what right would they have approaching any customer that walks out of that store even with beer just because they suspect underage.  Seems they would need a bit more to go on then a suspicion.   The plain cloth should never approach someone unless there is an uniformed officer/agent available to lessen untended effects.   I have a feeling, the DA will try a face saving tactical move and offer them a lesser sentence or probation to try to keep this out of court and to sweep it under the rug.   The women need to claim they feared for their lives when a group of thug rushed their car.  Heck they even called 911.  I bet that recording would be interesting to hear.
  11.     They need a bit of proof first as well.  4th amendment anyone?   They need a bit more probable cause before a search as well in my opinion.   Maybe they should know some of the other inventory the store as and perhaps even an undercover person inside confirming before they rush people.      sure sounded a allot like an unreasonable search.
  12. Evil Dead was filmed near Morristown.   Yes I knew that before looking it up.   http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Morristown,_Tennessee
  13. well, from what I understand there was something about a Supreme Court case that officers don't have to put themselves in danger to protect anyone.  Seems it really isn't there job.    So I will stay prepared to protect myself.
  14.   Spoiler alert remains in effect. Well, the Zs in the book are the slow type, allot like the Walking Dead zombies.   Also in the book far North was safer due to cold weather, the Z's would freeze and stop moving (until they thaw out.)   Also, warm islands may not be very safe due to many zombies went over board from ships and randomly find they way to shore in the book.  However Cuba was mostly safe place in the book as they prepared with limited flights and enough military to defend the coast line.
  15. I enjoyed it.   I am going to try not to spoil anything but consider this a warming just in case.   If you read the book and watched the movie you noticed 2 separate things.  The Movie is in order as it happens, while the book is looking back afterwards.   I actually liked the book better, but did enjoy the movie.  The book and movie do not spoil the other.    The 10th man was talked about in the book and well done.  The part about it starting in China was removed from the movie due to China backing the movie.    The preview made me concerned they would use the wrong type of zombie, however I believe for the most part they where mostly correct.(not 100 percent though.)

    ATV question?

I prefer 4x4, but I don't drive all that fast when I am out and about. Use the honda 400 4x4 for both riding and deer hunting.   generally I stick to back mountain roads I know, but sometimes I get off the beaten path some.
  17. Well they should be happy.  They claim they stopped a live pigeon shoot and it only cost them one drone.     BTW, those things are smaller in person and hard to hit.   :D
  18.   I say she should only qualify for Obama care.
  19.   Myself, I plan to get a multistage reloading system down the road.  However, dad ask just for a single shell at a time setup.   He retired this year and has time to use.  He does not get in a hurry for anything.
  20. So you know where I am coming from.   I have never reloaded a single shell.  Thinking about getting into it in the future.   However. Dad wants me to try to find something for him.   He is looking for .270 re-loader.  1 shell at a time, he is not looking for the complete press set up.   Can someone point me to some single shell re-loaders.   perhaps a recommendation on what powder to use.   Also, dad would like to know about how many shells a person can reload from one can of power.   Dad has the  .270 brass, but would need the tool(s), bullets, powder, and primers.  I am probably missing things.   I am trying to make up a list and get him a price.  I will probably buy it for him as we both hunt with  .270's
