  1.   However, that is probably based on GPS and there are tools to fake GPS entries on smart phones.  I used to use one to lock a GPS point away from my home for any pictures that I forgot to check tags on.     However, it might be a good idea to list Police Departments as having guns.  I mean, I am sure those that are concerned about guns would not want to call someone for help that has guns.    I don't trust opening this app at home.  I will wait until I am at work to open it.  You have to enable GPS just to open it.  Not going to take a chance on the app reporting home from my home.
  2. look at the app comments. ' I am going to download it and leave a bad review and 1 star as well.  It is getting allot of 1 stars   https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=edu.ucsd.visarts.walkingtools.gungeomarker
  3. So we should make up a ton of fake names/address' and report them all as having guns.  Just to paint the map red.   Seriously, making maps to people's homes that have commented no crime should be illegal.        We need a map that shows people that are not gun owners just to even the playing field.  (maybe joking).
  4. even myth busters attempted that.  They failed.   Not possible, at least with standard bullets.  In the future they might make smart bullets or something.
  5. Did you do something wrong?  Are you being punished?
  6.   Well I hope yours was better then ours.   Ours has been falling Health Safety inspecting for years.   Just recently it went under new management.  I hope they clean it up as I would like to eat there.   http://www.wate.com/story/17587713/knox-county-health-inspectors-flunk-family-buffet-by-19-points     You might like this link for Health safety reports. http://healthspace.com/tdh       Good thing you are armed, you might have to shoot the dinner entrees.
  7. Highlights   One area that we have identified that will enable us to increase production, is the minimization of machinery downtime. However, with demand at record levels, it has become difficult to justify shutting down a machine to change it over to produce a product of less demand. Therefore, we are temporarily suspending some items Again, this is only temporary. This is not a permanent suspension.     In short, they are going to make more of the popular items for a while.  As it reads, it should help the Market some.  They say demand is like 200 percent right now.     http://www.hornady.com/support/availability
  8. Saw one last night that stuck out.   In Falling Skies, M2 Ma Deuce caused a Humvee at relative low speed to flip sideways.     The way Holly Wood portrays guns, no wonder so many people are scared of them and that so many strange ideas about them come from CA.
  9. So you are saying to put the handler out to pasture ?  :D     Perhaps that isn't the right answer but they statics should be available.    Positive and Negative hits.  There should be a record of that.
  10.   goes to Credibility.   A few years back I believe it was in GA, a  deputy was part of a Big Foot hoax.     You know these officers have to give testimony in court cases regularly.  It would hurt their credibility to have things like this brought up by the defense.
  11. However, even the handler said it wasn't a good hit.  But they used it.   There should be a record of false hits where a dog/handler indicated and nothing was found.  On video he all but admitted it was a bad hit, so that goes toward the reliability of that dog/handler.   A defense lawyer that knows about this on another case where that dog was used might try to use that to get evidence thrown out.
  12. Remember when people wanted to hold pro gun rallies on the State Capitals.  There would be at least one person like this which is why I didn't make plans to go.
  13. :repost:   http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/topic/67424-murfreesboro-dui-checkpoint-video-making-its-way-across-the-web/
  14. Great, of all places, Nicaragua.  They really want to beef up their spam network I guess.
  15. well, the 3rd amendment might have some Merritt after call.  The police are soldiers in the war on drugs and everything else they seem to declare war on.
  16. you know before I clicked the link, I half way expected it to be similar to an anti static bag hard drives come in.  Some of those don't look to bad.   But no, not going to buy one today.
  17.   I bet he would have acted better if the window was rolled down too.   Disagree with checkpoints or not.  but after being stopped at a checking Is asking a person at a check point to roll down the window asking to much?  It does give the appears of something to hide.   I have been though a few checkpoints in my life and before I got to the officer, I already had my window down.
  18. well as much as we all want to believe they were perfect even they could not for see everything.
  19. repost :repost:   http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/topic/67401-arrested-for-refusing-to-let-the-police-use-his-house-to-gain-tactical-advantage/
  20. I like the part when the officer said the alert wasn't very good.   Myself, I don't give officers a hard time, no need in it.    However right or wrong I believe if they want to search, they will find a reason.   BTW, I thought a drug dog alert was for them to sit down?  Seems different stories/departments may have different alerts?
  21. But this story OP posted about sounded a bit more like trying to investigate and gather evidence instead of trying to stop a crime in process.
  22. when you are able to get that scope mounted I would really like some details.  After reading about it and sleeping on it I got to thinking I might like to setup a scope on mine that does not modify the bolt.   I had actually considered buying a separate bolt that was modified to work with a scope.  I think I like this idea better.  However I would like to see the placement before I make a final decision.  Also I am not in a hurry.
