  2.   Yup, that was in the back of my mind.     Some of the other posts as well are covering the areas I was thinking.  Yes, I assumed he would need a good lawyer when he is ready.  It looks like there is certainly a chance of him getting his voting back.  The gun rights are more iffy. I am going to share this info with him.
  3. dang, they all had to be .45.   I want a 9mm, 1911 this spring.
  4. I don't wan to open a major can of worms here.   In short, I have a co worker that I found out is a felon.  It seems over 25 years ago, He got a felony marijuana possession charge.  I believe it was here in TN, but I didn't confirm. He was only given a suspended sentence and didn't serve any time. I believe it is possible so I told him I would help him at least look into what steps are required to request his voting rights back and to see if there is any ways to request his 2nd amendment rights back.     Little background on this guy, since then he has been clean, no other issues with the law. He even did some contract work for the US Military over in Iraq. He seems to have a good work ethic as well.     *********   well, while writing this and researching at the same time.  I think I answered the first part.     https://www.aclu.org/voting-rights/know-your-voting-rights-tennessee-text-only#felony     ********   so now, research for the gun rights will continue.  He said he really wants to be able to vote.  He said gun rights back would just be the icing on the cake so he could go hunting. Maybe a "restoration of rights"?   He did say, if it involves a lawyer and allot of money, he would have to wait probably a year but is still interested.
  5.   Minus a couple boxes of mag. I lucked up on, I haven't brought any .22 in over a year as well.
  6. That is the kind of door I want to have installed.   Seriously, I am looking at some security type doors, both the main and the screen door.  Some don't look half bad either.
  7.  probably falls under buyer beware.  Plus like anything else, the consumer should check for recalls and stuff.  I just can't see how the scalpers could actually be at fault. As much as I don't like scalpers.  My though is, dude buys over priced and pays 80 bucks, later, Winchester might ofter retail refund.  Then the person will have to decide on safety and lose our just eat the lose and mark it up to lesson learned. I guess it falls on who has it at the time of the recall.  If a scalper knowingly sells it after finding out there is a recall then buy all means, I believe they are responsible for any thing that results.
  8.  Maybe there is nothing wrong with it and they are just wanting to resell it too.   Did anyone check the ship to address?   Walmart Scalper Price hike lane Somewhereville TN
  9. hmm, I work for a place that just did that.
  10.     I am glad it wasn't completely down.   I had to work from home today.  I don't use their email servers though so I never noticed the issue you had.
  11. The best program I have ever used is GET Data Back, Love the program.
  12. OS, I bet most people that have it got it from scalpers with out receipts.    Some people will probably learn a lesson here.    Or it is already locked away in horde boxes not to be used for 5 plus years.  Some will most likely have very loud bangs at that point. Long and forgotten until someone, some kid is just target practicing and BANG.
  13.   considering the other person is in the same jail the odds favor it being another complete ass.
  14. I hope allot of the Ammo resellers from walmart got all of these and their customers are at least smart enough to check the lot numbers so they get stuck with it.   I hope they are unable to sell them to people and they are forced to ship them back.
  15. I put Her worse, and him a very close second.  She set it up and allowed it to happen. However I bet it wasn't his first time.  I bet truth be known there are other victims. So in the big picture that puts him worse as with out him it would not have happened at all.   Chicken or the Egg.
  16.   If I was the judge, the only way I would let her out early, I would demand both written apology and if I accepted it, a verbal apology in the court room.  In which she would need to include her understanding of why she got contempt of court. If she choose to do so, any outburst in the room and the deal would be off the table.
  17. hey, at least she gets to serve extra time.   Perfect example of what my parents warned me about.  They told me, my mouth could get me in allot of trouble if I let it Think before you speak.    So after 300 days, she will probably get to be found guilty and get another 6 months.
  18. sick in so many ways.     Hmm, minimum sentence of 30 years. How much is that going to cost tax payers as well? plus we are covering the defense bill as well I assume.

    Tail gating.

We used to have one follow the school bus like that when I was a kid.  The driver made several complaints to no avail.  I remember his boss told him it would be a shame if he had to hit his breaks to keep from hitting a cow one morning.   I guess word finally got to the right person as we finally quit having an escort.
  20. I know I have heard similar locally but I still find it hard to believe someone at the warehouse loaded a truck with   3 boxes of 1000 round .22 and 10 boxes of the 555 round Winchester .22.   Seriously, someone said, lets put 3 boxes of 1000 round on a truck?  I bet Walmart gets in a pallet and probably just trickling it out.     Complain to mgmt about that one.  :D

    Got A New Toy...

I admit, I expected to see a gun, but good show.   Pets certainly help make a house feel like home.
  22. You are talking about Red Neck Layaway.  You know, sometimes you are shopping and you find something someone hid, presumably to come back later when they have more money or after check day.
  23. I was looking for a Bullet family when I found that one.
