  I had that idea as well.  I didn't want to bring it up as it sounds crazy.  I guess the whole situation seems crazy at this point.  But that could be the reason for the climb to 45,000.   Depressurize, knock them out, stay long enough to kill them.  A sudden pressure drop like that would knock a person out almost instantly.   Then let your imagination go.  They could continue to fly to what ever destination they had planned with out worry of 200 plus people trying to get to them.   About the only far fetched idea not being told by the media is alien abduction.  (no, i am not suggesting that either.)

The Big question is will they be labelled or will it be like the other Monsanto?

Talking about it at work, I can't see any reason why the pilots should have the ability to turn off the transponder.    I believe the transponder helps air traffic control by putting the flight info with the Dot on the screen(I could be wrong, but I know radar should detect them even with out a transponder).  Minus a transponder their should still be a blimp as long at it is in range. Also seems that anything that doesn't have a transponder should be flagged in the system to be given the highest priority as possible until identified.

I could probably add to the list.

prag Yes, it was with the ORPD.  I have met some very good people there.       I saw officers following the book, explaining things well.   I am being very general on purpose.

  No.  I was advised to leave any weapons at home.  I made the assumption weapons would be provided :devil: .  I wasn't too awful far off, the officer I was with showed me the unlock button for the AR and we talked about a what if, if bad guys started shooting. To fully answer your question, no I wasn't carrying.    CAB Elite, well truly the events where more in a 4 hour window.  The 5th hour included accident clean/ and other related items.

  I am still processing in my mind.  A shopping lifting report at Walmart, traffic stop, public disturbance, domestic, and the accident.  My mind is still running 90 mph. (had 2 lights and siren runs domestic and the accident (with injuries).  I agreed with everything.  I didn't see anything to object to.  Met several of the officers on duty tonight.

I went on a ride along tonight and in less then 5 hours, we had 5 events I believe.   It ended with a 10-46 (wreak with injuries(minor)).   It was a night I don't think I will forget for a while.  I will say if you have the opportunity, don't pass it up. I was going to do a full shift, however after the amount of calls, the officer I was with was pulled to do paper work.  I just might have to do another one.

OK, the Media needs to quit telling every rumor they hear.  It isn't helping anyone.   The media is just going for rating at this point.

Now that you point it out, some of the women where certainly eyeballing one of the women in our group more so then the men did in the other cell.  I thought that was kinda strange. Some of the women in there checked the men in our group out as well. 

  Well if the ones that resided there didn't call much, they have to call out collect at 15 dollars per 15 minutes.

So this pre dates Al Gore.

I can't believe I haven't said it here yet.   Last Saturday, I went on a tour of the Anderson Co. Jail. It was an eye opening experience.    About half way though the tour they ask if we were brave enough to go in.  I don't think any of us expected that they would actually walk us right though general population. Went though both the mens and womans general population.   They did tell us these were the low risk inmates.  Ones with jail jobs working toward reducing their sentences. They did also take us to the max secure area.  Those guys where in their cells while we went in the open area between them.       That place was a major maze.   Not bars but solid thick windows and solid doors. If someone were to get though 1 door, they would still be locked behind several more.   Not that I ever had any doubt but I certainly wouldn't want to spend any time there at the request of Law enforcement.   I

BTW, if it truly crashed where the Chinese believe they may have found it along the expected flight path which explains the mystery of why the transponder was off. Remember, Ockham's Razor. 

The School Resource Officer here told the other day that if a person took something like a video game controller (that looks like a gun) to school the could actually be charged the same as if they had took a real gun to school.   Zero Tolerance is out of control.   Zero tolerance is the modern term used the same way as I was only following orders.   Zero tolerance removes all responsibility to make decision at a local level and replaces with a predetermined response.  One size does not fit all.

well, seems if true, the Chinese Satellite found debris near the expected flight path.  So that makes allot more since then it being 300 miles off course.
