  1. Was it an automatic knife or a high capacity knife.   Heaven help us if it was one of those with 3 or more blades.   BTW, I didn't think they were allowed to carry knives in school?   /sarcasm off
  2.   Thanks, fixed,   Schlage FE595 CAM 716 ACC Camelot Keypad Entry with Flex-Lock and Accent Levers, Aged Bronze by Schlage Lock Company Link: http://amzn.com/B001COGRKU     Yea, He already knows I want that.  He is already going to be re framing some as he goes as he has to cut out the opening to fit it in.

    FFL problems

No, nothing wrong with home based.    I have dealt with 2 home based FFL's.  One I was going to use, I had everything almost setup.  I called back to confirm some detail and couldn't get it back on the phone for over a week.  The week it was suppose to be shipped.  The other one, smooth as butter.  I agree it could happen at any business.
  4.   These Schlage locks are suppose to have that covered.       Yea, we are getting the black finish.  I know anything can fade.
  5. I have a contractor doing my install.  I pretty much told him I want it as secure as we can do it.   Also, adding a security Storm door at the same time.  So 2 doors, 2 locks.   I will try to remember to post a before and after.
  6. This is now a moot point.   Yes, I am adding a new Dead bolt while I am at it.  The door is pre drilled for 2 locks.  It would be a waste to not use 2 new ones while I am at it. I just got back looking at both the door and locks.   I am not going as fancy on the Deadbolt as the main lock, but I am adding a Grade 1 Schlage Deadbolt.  It fits in my budget for this project.

    FFL problems

wow,   Question, Is there anything special about this lower?  Can you think of any reason he might be wanting to hold on to it?   I am betting it is a home run business.
  8. I am in the process of having my front door replaced. In the process, we are going to increase from 28 inch to a 32 inch door.   I am having a prehung, steel door put in.  No window glass near the door handle.   My question is about locks.    My budget for this job, does allow me one pretty good lock.   I am thinking about something very similar to the following.   Schlage FE595 CAM 716 ACC Camelot Keypad Entry with Flex-Lock and Accent Levers, Aged Bronze by Schlage Lock Company Link: http://amzn.com/B001COGRKU   My question is related to the following.   Do you think that is good enough or should I spring and add a similar deadbolt as well?     I thought about, having him drill it out and use my existing deadbolt and then later upgrade should be easier.   Opinions?    BTW, I am pretty set on this lock.  So I am really just wondering how much I need to be concerned with a deadbolt.     EDIT, corrected listed lock.
  9. If you upgrade, I suggest windows 7 unless you want touch screen. I still don't like 8.   XP will continue to work on the internet for a while, as does windows 98 and heaven forbid if you find windows 95 out there. I bet someone on here could even get windows 3.1 on the web to some degree although it would totally suck at this point with at best netscape 2.0 or IE 2.0
  10. Yea, don't pay much.  Allot of bee keepers will come take them for free. Some will first hit you with a number, and if you wait they will reduce it or come for gas money.   My neighbor had bees a couple years ago, i posted it on a local swap shop.  He got a call, guy gave him a number and he said he would wait and see what someone else offered.  30 minutes later the guy called back and said he would take them for free.
  11. Guess the ammo shortage is affecting them as well and they are just becoming more efficient.
  12. For what it is worth.   https://www.thebangswitch.com/import-ban-on-7n6-5-45x39/     But continue reading.   They are making it sounds like the rule is NOT in place yet, but they are just sitting on the form 6's trying to get a rule in so they can officially do this.  Government run amok and over stepping like normal.
  13.       I have seen a LGS selling it in ziplock bags at a highly inflated price.  I told him he could keep it and I haven't been back in his story since.
  14. .22's are probably only hitting the market now because the resellers have invested in 5.45 before anyone got wind of that.
  15. When I was getting them over a year ago, they where new and improved then as well I also had some about a year before that that didn't have that on them. I do believe I had less miss fires.  Also I believe they had a few more feet per sec as well.   Also the lead on the end is looser, spins easy in your hand.
  16. I get the feeling that Cabbie enjoying being at work more then home.
  17. Ebola toll rises in 'unprecedented' outbreak Need to keep watch on things like this.    http://www.cnn.com/2014/03/31/health/africa-ebola/index.html?hpt=hp_t2
  18.   It isn't suppose to. I have done it on computers before and both times I left it blank.  it was blank on the last screen I reviewed as well before submitting.
  19. I have watched it a couple times, i am starting to think that opening screen is just a tease,  I haven't found her yet. Hell I don't think my eyes are that bad.
  20.  good eye at 43: to 45 seconds.
  21. I will say it before someone else does.   Did you put in your SSN? or leave it optionally blank?   I know some on here will say including it helps, although I always leave my blank and haven't had any trouble.
  22. Correction, the one in the lab is .700 Nitro Xpress T-Rex Elephant Rifle Anti Tank/T-Rex Hunting   I looked into that a long time ago.  the 68 has more recoil at about 200 or 200 pounds at the shoulder if I remember correctly.   couple in that group are fake suspected to be anti gun people doing unsafe things to make guns appear dangerous.
