  1. At this point I am not worried about passing the tests.
  2. Glad your Ok OS, Mike, I am still working on my Markmanship, just been doing it up at Dad's. Not going to change guns right before class.
  3. I was never a fan of Jones Soda. ***** What med. is it? The Med is the Generic of Topamax. It is mainly for anti-seizures , but my doctor gave it to me to try for Off Label use for migraines. (to try to prevent them) I don't have seizures and with stigma that can be associated with them in certain situations, (such as driving) I don't want people to be confused as to why I take that medicine. It is like Medic lets me donate blood with it as long as I take it to prevent migraines but if I was taking it to prevent seizures I would not be allowed to donate. So I have to explain it to them now when I donate. BTW, Update, the MEXICAN COKE, was drinkable. If I liked Coke I could really drink those.
  4. Maybe you should call the Owner of the shop and tell him about that guy driving away customers.
  5. It takes all kinds. Yup, I certainly would not have brought anything, I would have thanked them for saving me the money I was about to spend in their store as well as I pointed to the bottle of Johnny Walker Blue on the shelf.
  6. Well the one question I missed was the name of the person that Sewed the first flag, Betsy Ross. My wife knew that one. But the rest I did know.
  7. Sad. I admit I missed 1. but my wife got it.
  8. Still no update? Inquiring Minds need to know. Soon I will be starting to soon out at Norris, after I get my HCP, and when I get my HCP I will be teaching my Wife to shoot. I plan to wait until I get my HCP so I can load up at home and drive over.
  9. As it has been said many times small plastic card with a Billboard size of responsibility. There is no clear single answer, every situation is going to be different. I have not stayed in a Holiday Inn in about 7 months so anything I say may be wrong. Of Course we have the right to defend ourself and a 3rd party if there is a threat of death or danger to life and limb. However, you have to remember there will be 2 battles, the one you join and the legal battle after. Sometimes you may be better off being a good wittiness, calling 911, but there again every situation is different. there is no way to answer it until you are faced with it. If you get involved between a man and a woman, you might think you are defending her, but later she might not back your story and defend her man, even know you know what you know. If it wasn't for things like there we would not have TV shows like Jerry Springer.
  10. Probably depends if the Park is Posted. Like Oak Ridge City Parks are posted.
  11. TNFlyer, you are correct, Just checked and the Poweraid does, the Low Cal G2 Gatoraid does not, but I know I can also drink the normal Gatoraid. My wife got into the other Mexican Soda, (not the coke) and I tasted it and it was ok. I would not let her open the coke, I told her I wanted it to chill until tomorrow, so I could try it with no ice. I put my foot down on this one.
  12. hey we went out to Koger's and found some Mexican Coke, 7 bottles, 1.79, I got them all. Tomorrow after they get cold I will post back and let you know.
  13. My wife just told me there is a Whole Food Store with in reason to us. Will have to check it out. Will double check Kroger as well.
  14. I can say this, the medicine did not effect the taste of food or beer. Poweraid, GratorAid, snapple, all those taste normal. I am pretty sure something changed with me and I can't take HFCS any more.
  15. Yes Mike, Read, I am so dam sorry I did not post yesterday when I first read it.
  16. Our Food city has a small mexican section I know they have some soda but not coke or pepsi. But I am going to try theirs. It might be good. BTW, the Medicines effect on my taste seems to be limited to soda, so I am not going to give up the medicine. I now have 2 effective ways to fight my migraines. BTW I don't like the so called classic coke but I used to like the real orignal coke I bet I would like Mexican coke. I am well aware of the differences.
  17. Ok more details are seriously needed!!! +1 I assume OhShoot is fine, waiting on more details. Reminds me when I was learning to shoot funny I have allot of these stories. Dad borrowed some 3030's from different people for me to practice with. I got to liking that lever action and how they discharged the shells out the side. Well after I got used to that one. Dad handed me another one. Mind you I was only 10 when this happened. I fired the first shot and I could not get the lever action to fully work, I was not strong enough, plus it was an older rifle, a bit stiff, as I changed my hold on the gun to work it I got the Lever to move and the shell came free and hit me in the forehead. What I had failed to notice was this old 3030 discharged the shells out the top, instead of the side. Lesson Learned. Awaiting details on OhShoot
  18. Ok, This is going to be very Odd. I am wondering if anyone lives around any stores that still sell Pepsi Throwback. Here is the reason why. 1. A Several months back when It was available, I tried it and I could not tell the difference between it and the other pepsi. I have drank pepsi since I was a kid. Anyways, a 2 months back I started some new Medicine to prevent /reduce migraines. I am happy to report the medicine has greatly reduced my migraines. However, I have noticed all Soda tastes funny, actually so bad I can't drink them. The only thing I have found that tastes bad is soda. My wife suggested it might be the sweeter they use in soda now, the corn syrup. So I want to see if I can find of the Throw backs made with real sugar to see for sure. Btw, when I started the medicine, it did not make me want to quit drinking soda, I just gave it up at the same time as my doctor told me to lose some weight. Then after about a month I had one and noticed it tasted bad and thought it was the restaurant, then I tried one at home , different brand and found it tasted the same. I have so far tried several kinds and they all taste the same. If I don't find a Pepsi Throw Back so place, I will just go to food city and buy a couple Mexican Soda's that are made with real sugar, however it just won't be as true of a test.
  19. lol, heard it before but still good.
  20. AR15 now that I know I can change it. I just learned because of this thread.
  21. If I read and understood section 3 correctly, if you inhert a gun from another state and you are legal to possess such a firearm you would not be breaking the law to transport it home?
  22. Maybe we should sue the companies we work for tell them we feel unsafe since we are not protected at the work place against armed thugs breaking in.
  23. I have not had a land line phone in 9 years. I went cell phone only. Cell phone and Cable internet. I really wanted to get the new Droid X phone from Verizon anyways and my work place gets a good discount with Verizon as well, 20 percent. only 12 with AT&T. I have my plan figured out. I just find it funny how they called my mom. I told her if they call her again and ask for me to say I am not there, and to suggest they call me. Then if they ask for my number to be smart with them and tell them they are the phone company and they can figure it out.
  24. Not sure the best area to post this but another thread got me thinking. I have family, both blood and Married across state lines, mainly TN/KY with guns. At this point there has been no guns traded and there is no current plans. But we know, time changes everything But just wondering, but lets say you had an Uncle that lived across the state line that passed away and you where going to inherit his guns. Would you have get a FFL to bring them to you. Lets say you where the executor of the estate and there was no question you have inherited the guns and no one disputed it. How would you use a FFL to transfer them ? You have the power to actually drive to the place pick them up. But the concerns are what would be legal. To me this seems like a grey area, but I am sure there is something that would have to be done. I ask cause I can think of a few cased in my family where this may be an issue at some point in the future and i would rather have some knowledge now, then scramble latter trying to figure it out.
  25. It is a long story and I won't bore anyone with the details but AT&T has pushed my final button and I have decided to cancel my service with them. I have had my cell with them since Cingular, bellsouth , AT&T, all those switchs. Anyways, the short version, they cancelled a discount i have had for 9 year by sending me a letter. I called them and ask them to put it back on my account, they said no. I stayed on the phone demanded a reason why they where removing it they could not tell me, I ask for a supervisor and ask to have it put back on my account. ( I used to do contact support work for Bellsouth DSL so I knew if you complained enough you almost always got what you wanted from them). Also I know I qualify for a business discount though work, catch is, if I sign up new for it they lock me into a 2 year contract which I refuse to accept. Well they would not put the company discount back on my phone, so I said fine, I am going to Verizon Wireless and hung up on them. They next day, AT&T wireless called my mom and ask for me. I have not lived or had anything billed to mom's for over 10 years. They didn't even have enough common sense to call my cell phone, the phone that I have billed though them, which is what I find funny. Mom called me and ask if I had cancelled it yet since they called her, the only time I gave her number was when I signed up like 9 years before and I removed it as a contact years ago. They had to dig records to get that number instead of looking at my billing number. How crazy is that.
