Well as much as I like that one, I like the WRT54G-TM a bit more., why, well it is the one that T-mobile had linksys build for them with a little more memory and a faster processor. It is a little better for those of us that like to put 3rd party firm ware on them. It is the model that T-mobile used with one of their cell phones that had the option to use one's home wifi for voice over IP calls to save minutes when at home.

Capbyrd, you are a head of me. What does it say about you, responsible. I have made it clear to my family to bury me on the cheap. (pay for it out of money in my saving account, as I have not prepaid, however I know it probably should as it would be cheaper). I have not decided where I want to be buried, as the small grave yard where most of my family has been buried is nearly full. I know Dad has a spot saved near his Dad. His mom does not want to be there. I am pretty sure mom does not want to be there, probably not even in the state since she is not from TN. I know I will want to be buried in TN. But I have told them, cheap box, cheap everything, I have in short promised them I will not haunt them for it. Some in the family may believe in ghosts, I do not believe in hauntings. My wife will probably make sure there is a 6 pack of Guinness with me, but as I have pointed out I won't be able to enjoy it. I don't want any extra expense paid.

I know exactly what DD-WRT is, all 4 of mine are running it. (3rd party firmware) we broke away from linksys software. In short upgraded our routers.

toward the end of the read, I am more concerned with who exhumed the bodies.

Ok, may not have been the best choice but I picked up some light weight eye protection. nothing spiecal. They are Polycarbonate lenses for indoor/outdoor. Scatch and impatch resistant. I have no idea what this means but says meets ansi z87.1-2003. They do wrap around to protect from the sides as well. I can see fine though them.

thanks for the update. Good to hear things are looking up.

Plus Most anything New you buy will be N, backwards Compatible G and B anways. I don't know about a 16 dollar router though. I might be a bit scared of that.

OK, Here we go. List a store then an item that for what ever reason you feel just doesn't seem to fit that they actually sell. I am starting this because a co-worker told me this and I did not believe him until I looked it up. Walmart sells Coffins shipped to your home. Search results for coffin - Walmart Anyone else see anything strange that just does not seem to fit?

The writer just had to phrase it that way did he.

Most N routers are backwards compatible with G and even B. The real secret is, the letter is mainly the speed of of data transfer. B is like 11Mbps G is like 54Mbps N is like 108Mbps however the best your home internet is maybe 8mit or so, the speed of the letters is mainly PC to PC data transfers. in short, any of the letters are likely to be faster then your home internet provider. everything in my home that is wireless is running on G. I would have to change allot of Stuff to upgrade to N, when sometime dies I will probably replace one item at a time with an N, using backwards compatiblity G until I get a couple N's in place.

As always, been some good information here. I am still leaning toward getting him a one of the ones from cabelas that is premade. I might even get me one. However for the Pepper box I want I am still going to build it from a kit. I still want it. One day some of the guys will find me at the range at Norris with my Pepperbox, probably next spring. If I find out I can not gift it to him across statelines between now and then, I will talk to his wife and maybe have her buy it direct. I will make sure what ever I do is legal

I know where to shop for my computer needs. I have been working on computers for years, both hobby and getting a paid check. When your PC is broken or your internet is not working, I am the guy you want in your living room, but I don't make house calls.

Amazon gives free shipping if you order 25 dollars so you might as well run the bill up to 25. If you have picked the router you want, pad the bill some with something else. since you are spending 25 anyways. I will say this, nothing seems to beat a Linksys Router though. I am bit crazy don't ask why but I have 4 Wireless routers in my small home. 2 of them are WRT54G, 2 of them are WRT54G-TM. I have my reasons why I have so many, they are all hooked up. At least one of these routers is over 7 years old and sitll works like the day it was brought.

Yup, I found 7 at my Kogers the other day, I can actually drink them. However they are pricy. Seems Coke and Pepsi should notice people are willing to pay a little more for real sugar taste by now. They could put both in the stores and see which sells out.

After I linked that one, I looked it over some more. When I read some more of the reviews and discovered it was a BP and not cartridge I didn't like it as much. Forget Blackpower guns but Guns in General as I stated before, what If got a gun and I wanted to gift it to my father-in-law? From TN to KY, pure Gift. I am going to check that link out now as well. ********* however, Looking at these Kits and now the link that Jamie gave me with the ready to go BP guns, I have to ask, in the mid 1800's, where most of the old 6 shooters black power instead of cartridges? I am probably warped from movies as I don't recall every seeing to many people loading their 6 shooters. cabelas has some videos on loading/cleaning them as well. That answered some questions for me. I think I picked out a Gift for him http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/templates/product/standard-item.jsp?id=0072632217210a&navCount=18&podId=0072632&parentId=cat20817&masterpathid=&navAction=push&cmCat=MainCatcat20712-cat20720-cat20817&catalogCode=9IS&rid=&parentType=index&indexId=cat20817&hasJS=true

Yup, I am defiantly going out to pick up some for shooting and other activities now. I started wearing glasses when I was about 3, and in all these years I have never broke a single lense but it would only take once to end badly.

Dunndw brings up an interesting point If a man can defend his home with out worry of crimal charges, mans best friend should also be able to defend his home against an invader. I am just saying. Maybe of us consider of Pets part of the family. When we got to our Vets, normally our vets tag them with the owners last name even.

My work place is not a place that would have any safety requirement that I could uset o get safety glasses. I work in low level IT support. In short an Office Job. I get Glass in my Lens because I prefer the transition, I forget the type I have, but the kind that works better on Glass then the platic lenses.

I want to add one more twist to this, Something that I am thinking about for Christmas. My father-in-law believe it or not is really good to me and I have been considering getting something very nice for him this year. Been thinking about this or something similar, buying, building it as a gift. Dixie Gun Works muzzleloading, blackpowder and rare antique gun supplies. I need to learn a bit more about the kits at dixiegunworks before I buy from them, but I am using that as an example. The question is, I of course live in TN, he lives in KY, would it be legal to give to him as a gift if it is legal for him to own firearms? I know he can as he has several guns already and is considering getting KY's permit anyways. The man has never had any legal trouble. No Money would exchange hands, as it would be a pure gift.

My eye are good enough that I can go with out my glasses but I have wore them so long I like having them. I can probably just get some shooting glasses for use when I am at the range In case you are wondering. I do pass my drivers license test with out my glasses.

I wear Eye Glasses and for years for most things I have consider them good enough for eye protection for most thing. Certain things like cutting wood with a ton of saw dust I wear heavier eye protection. However now that I am getting into more and more shooting I am re-evaluating if my eye glasses are enough. I am wondering, would most people consider normal Eye Glasses sufficient eye protection? If not, any recommendations on some eye protection that I could wear over my glass' and not look totally stupid? Before anyone ask, yes I do use ear plugs for shooting. I worked in a factory for nearly 3 years where the sound was about a steady 100 to 120 db and I still have my hearing at 35.
