  1. I plan to go Tuesday after work.
  2. What can I saw, you guys buy some horrible movies. Someone start a great Movies thread and or Great TV shows thread and I will feel I have something to add.
  3. Ok, I need to buy a clue, someone let me know what DRT is. I tried Google, but I think I blew it up with random hits. Document Related Technologies Disaster Response Team Demand Responsive Transport Durham Region Transit Daughters of the Republic of Texas Do the Right Thing Debt Recovery Tribunal Diagnostic Rhyme Test Dead Reckoning Tracer Design Review Team Dining Room Table Deep Reconnaissance Team Dwarven Ringmail Tunic Disaster Recovery Terminal it seems DRT means allot of things to allot of people the list kept going but nothing seems to fit for me.
  4. Well, if they didn't know who he was before, they do now. I had not heard of him before this. Chances are allot of them had not. Before deciding to have them removed or altered he probably only had to worry about half the population. Now one side will hold him for the other and they will switch out every other Thursday. Second though, maybe with a name like Cowart, he feels he needs to take on the whole dam prison to feel like a man, but I believe it will back fire and he will not feel like a man for long.
  5. Yes on the percussion gun part about using caps. Yes, I have read about the bad habits of the peperbox. I was looking at the videos at cabelas I found from the link you gave me. There is some gun lube for Black Power guns to reduce the risk of firing multiple chambers at once. A nice modern safety to use. As for double charge a barrel? do you mean accidentally put 2 loads in one? That would be very bad and something to certainly be careful to avoild. The pepper box is more of a I want to built it, fire it a few times, more of a thing to have and to collect. I certainly would never want to have to depend on it.
  6. Good question. I have been considering a lock box I could bolt down in my truck for places I have to leave my pistol. So an answer to this would be great.
  7. Welcome to the show. I have been haunting this place for about 2 months now. I feel like it is a second or third home. Some of the guys will tell you I have wore out my welcome probably, others will just call me a Newb. Anyways, any questions pick a forum and let them fly.
  8. Lately, it is like some of the players have just been destine to Wear Orange.
  9. Holy crap. Had I seen that you are dam right I would have stopped. Not sure how much I could have done but I do always carry a first aid kit with me and some basic supplies. Glad to at least see the one guy was able to get out and call for help. Any idea what it would cost to have a camera of that quality you could mount if your car/truck to record what happens while you are driving?
  10. I know where you are coming from with that line of thinking, assuming you are thinking home defense. In a home defense one is not going to grab safety gear, you are going to get your weapon and do what needs to be done. While using Safety gear at the range is going to protect you while you are practicing over the course of your life 1000's of rounds of ammo.
  11. We haven't had Rain in like 2 weeks or very little here in Oak Ridge, any 90 plus days, Today I checked once and say it at 95. I have not mowed the grass in about 2 weeks. It has not grown much and is still kinda green, getting a little dry. About 10 minutes ago a kid knocked on my door and ask if I wanted him to mow my grass. 1. I mow it myself 2. I answered the door No shirt figuring it was a next door neighbor going to ask to borrow my car ramps or something because I had see him messing with his car a little earlier. Since it was only a kid, I just politely told him no thanks and pointed out I believed it would probably kill it because of how dry it has been. I wanted to give him a little bit of a reason why.
  12. OK, If I understood that correctly, Smudger Aka Smith the guy Bleeding turned out to be OK, with a few Stitches. I think the bullet(s) was probably hit rock close enough to him break up into shrapnel and hit him or broke up some rocks hit his face. Good thing it looks like he didn't get the full thing and you could see he had eye protection.
  13. I can answer comcast questions. Comcast does not require a static address or account name. Comcast does give a long term non static IP. I can give you longer details if you wish. They say it is not static, and about the only time my changes is if there is a power outage in the neighborhood that effects a substation or I change a device plugged into my cable modem. Furthermore if I am just changing devices I have been able to trick it and go back and forth between a couple IPs. So it is not static, but is is long term dynamic dns. Comcast needs the Mac and SN of the cable modem to provision the account. The cable modem learns the MAC address of your Router or PC that you plug into it. So if you change the device plugged into the cable modem you have to power cycle the cable modem. Exception, if you have Voice over IP and the cable modem has batteries, you may need to remove the batteries as well. No, I don't work for comcast but I do work in IT and I have been a comcast customer for almost 10 years.
  14. that had to be cool. I know it is losely based on the facts but I have seen the WW2 movie about Reginald Mitchell designing the Spitfire. I agree with Ebow1 after Dollywood openned, they just gave up on field trips, every year, ok, we are going to Dollywood again. Before Dollywood openned we need Science and Energy Museum and even went inside Norris Dam. I bet Norris Dam is off limits to the public now.
  15. I find it funny the twists and turns this thread has taken. Walmart won't sell pistols but will sell Coffins and urns.
  16. Well, I promise I will not fly South West until they fix this for you. That might not mean much since I haven't flown in over 20 years but they say the thought is what counts right? Serious, they admitted they made the mistake, they are responsible for this.
  17. Just remember, your INTERNET speed does not come from your router, linksys, netgear, dlink, airport extreme or any other router. Your speed is depends on a number of things, mainly the speed your ISP provides, followed by line quality, and your DSL or Cable modem qualify. Any router on the market should be able to handle any speed any Residential ISP provides.
  18. That is Horrible and I agree, no matter on their insurance. They should have to fully repay the damages. I would not let up on them until they do. If their Insurance does not fully pay, it is a simple fact they did not have enough insurance. If I am in a car accident and I only have 50k insurance but I cause 75k damage, you know I have to cought up the other 25k cash.
  19. don't scare of my 1 customer. I need to un-load a couple cases of hcp badge polish or special wax (plain car wax repackaged), hcp spring oil (gun oil repackaged), and replacement clips to someone. BTW, I got those new pins for the back of your badge in,
  20. you beat me to the question so to speak.
  21. For the most part, my family believes in funerals should be cheap, if you want to do something nice for a person. Do it while they are a live, because after they are dead it is to late. I know what I expect, I just don't know where since I figure the graveyard where move of my family is will be full. I figure I will be the first in a brand new Graveyard. I have a couple places in mind on some mountain tops.
  22. I have been working hard in this one, I think my next life should be a vacation.
  23. exactly what i thought. That just mine encourage them to never come back.
  24. Quick question, I think i have read now. In my own home, on my own property I don't have to have a HCP to carry and be loaded right? So I could answer the door full on OC?
