Today about 5pm My wife and I was out checking a few fishing places to confirm or not weather or not they where posted by the city of Oak Ridge and dam it they are. Seems every place I know to fish close in Oak Ridge is Posted now. But while walking out to the TWRA pier there was an older couple with their Grandson(we go that from talking with them for a few minutes). As we walked up to the pier the little boy about 3-4 had a small fish on his line and he was so happy to show it to my wife and I. My wife said what kind is it, is it a bass? The man that was helping him said "I don't know what it is." It kinda of surprised me as he had a full tackle box and stuff and was not sure of what kind of fish but maybe he didn't fish allot. I took a look at it and said it looks like a blue gill. The little boy quickly corrected me, he said "IT's a FISH." I looked at him and said you are right it is a fish We all laughed. Maybe it was one of those things you had to be there but it was funny the way it happened. Too bad the place is posted

Besides, every time you dent something on that nice pretty explorer it is going to be an expensive fix compared to an older model. I drive a 20 year old truck for a couple reason. 1. It is reliable, it gets me there and back. 2. if I get a scratch or dent on it I won't worry about it. I gave my wife the new pretty car.

yea, I am fine with their Beliefs. They do make some good points and no one believes the Japanese are doing it for research. The Japanese don't need the whales that bad for food either, they are doing it for pure profit, which should be stopped. His little boat is not going to do it, but it has at least brought some additional attention to it.

OK, I finally got over to Bull Run and checked. Right where you Park to walk down to the water/fishing spots they have a sign. I guess it is posted since you would have to cross their property to get to the water. Here is the sign. Also the Other City Parks on Edgemore are City Parks but I don't know the names of them but they have the generic City Posting signs. I guess that means the TWRA Pier is also posted since you have to though the city park to get to it. Clark Center park you told us about, my wife and I didn't even know about but we drove over there this even and got this picture While we where there, there was some happening 2 Fire trucks, and other emergency vehicles came in. That was about 4:30-5pm today. I hope all these pictures posts.

ethanol does not impress me. One gallon of ethanol has an energy value of only 77,000 BTU's One gallon of gasoline has 114,000 BTU's In short, you get better MPG with gas then ethanol as there is more available power in it. however ethanol will get me started on another subject. I disagree with the way we make ethanol, corn is not the best way to make it. Sugarcane is far better if we are going to use it, or other actual waste by-products.

One time there was a free ofter for something, a video of some kind and my parent are borderline shut ins. So I signed them up for it and used the Dogs nickname. They still get mail with the dogs name 10 years later now. Warning, This should be considered a JOKE, as I have warned I tend to go overboard and this may not be good advise. Sign him up on some useless junk mail to the name Useless Old Fart at his address or any other crazy name you can come up with. Junk mailers are mostly computer bases and no one looks the name other then the mail carrier. Not talking about email here. Maybe if I want to get a pepperbox and shoot it as safely as possible might should only load one barrel at a time then. More time consuming but certainly safer. All the kidding, joking aside about it. I would never intend to carry it. If I do build it, I would like to fire it to know it works and it would probably be a case gun and something to show to family and friends. However if one did load more then one barrel, dam sure better keep it pointed down range just in case of chain firing.

What cards or fliers are you talking about to give to businesses? From reading your post I have an idea what they might be but I have never seen one. I might want to carry some if they are indeed what I think they are.

It was not OT, it was my regular schedule. What can I say, I work the hours I can get. I do get at least 40 hours a week, This week though I will end up with 42, last week I had 55. I work every minute of OT I can get. The cook out was spending time with my wife.

This is something I want to stay informed on. I know where I work, I will not be allowed to keep a gun in my car on their property currently. I do consider my car my personal private property. I know I have come co workers that drive nearly an hour 1 way that have HCP that can not carry on their drive because they are afraid they will get fired if something happens and there gun is found out in their car. Say car gets broke in to, company asks to search the car, anything like that. Their concerns are what if they break down on the side of the road driving to or from work and don't have their gun on the side of the interstate. At least I have a somewhat short drive, but I understand how they feel.
