  1. I would but this Saturday I will be a my HCP class, and second I normally work weekends. For me, when I get to go, I will prbably be a later in the evening shooter up there.
  2. Keep us updated for sure. As for a fitted gun, I know very little about that. I have never known anyone that had one fitted. My 270 Dad brought it when I was 10, it was to heavy and 2 big for me then, seems like a good fit now. Guess I grew into it. About the same with my old 20 gauge. I remember dad drove up the road to a neighbors house brought it and came home, here you go, happy birthday or something like that. He told me to shoot number 6 shot with it, but with number 6 shot you are lucky to hit anything, I found it shots number 8 far better.
  3. Yea, that lock was a trick, very tight fit for my hand and key to get in there. Still, Honey, pull the car though then I will close the gate. Never did I image she would leave me at the gate.
  4. Actually it was getting late so we didnt' get in any shooting, we had not planned the trip all that well, we kinda just run out there when she got home from work. But now we can go any time we feel like it, I plan to have her get her first gun shot in very soon. She has never shot a gun. Going to start her small with a .22. I dont' want to scare her off at the start.
  5. For $100,000 I might actually toss my name in the bucket, what the hell. Of course I want to make sure that site is legit.
  6. Round is a good physical shape right? seems a little suspect they are using a gmail account for this.
  7. We both signed up at the Norris PD this evening and drove over to take a look at the Range. I got out to unlock the gate, ask her to drive though so I could close the gate. This is the point where I should have remembered she grew up in the city and not the country. She just kept driving to the top of the hill and left me at the gate. I had to walk from the gate to the range. Now, here is what I expected. As I had been driving, I got out to unlock the gate and figured to save time I would have her move the car though and I would close it back then we would both ride up the hill since we had no idea how much further it was. At least it was not to far of a walk.
  8. Ebow1, When you come home to find your package does it look like this
  9. I remember working, doing support for Bellsouth and when a customer called and said they didn't get their modem, we tracked the package. I won't name the company, mainly because I can't remember 100 percent if it was company A or B that did this. But the Notes on the tracking said, left package on trash can. I am sure a few people that worked with me at doing that support job for Bellsouth DSL probably remember that one and can problem back that story up.
  10. I can walk over to Austin's anytime I want. Serious, I guess I don't buy that much, yet so I am not really going out of my way but if I was already in the area and I saw a place that looked interesting I would probably stop in and have a look around.
  11. One thing if you don't get satisfaction from SW let them know you are going to take your story to the media and how they carelessly handled your $xxxxxx.xx checked luggage and run over it with a fuel truck and are refusing to pay the full replacement value. Sure it is nothing new that they lose luggage but this is a new twist.
  12. Thanks, now I don't feel so bad about some photos mom has of me.

    Sorry Been MIA

Dam, I didn't know anyone paid less then TN. I won't say what I make, but they laid people off a few years ago in another state doing the job I do now paying them over 20 an hour to hire the team I am on. On one hand I got a job because someone underbid another company, but it was a seriously big underbid. They are always complaining now how they messed up and bid to low for the job. I won't say what I do or for who, but the Job I am doing if it was in any other place would certainly pay more.

    Sorry Been MIA

well, as well as Guns have been selling in the last 2 years they are laying people off? At least I thought guns had been selling really well lately.
  15. I dislike them so much I had to have another swing at them. Got 35 on my rematch.
  16. well since you are going, stop by City Hall and give them some No Guns, no Cash fliers. http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/tennessee-politics-legislation/41121-sb3012-cards.html Darn, I am 2 late. Glad you had a good trip
  17. ok, something with with the flash/lighting made the gun look far worse then it does in person. In person it does not have that brown rusty color, but like I said it is ruff. In the past year I have put about 1,000 rounds though it.
  18. I know I will get a Mark 3 Ruger at one point, that is a given. I will be taking my test this Saturday with my Dad's Mark 1 Ruger. Actually if I don't make my wife made with gun talk, I will try to post a picture of it in a few. It looks as if it has been though a war, but everything works prefect on it. I know he will never sell it. But I am considering a 1911 maybe.
  19. Good to hear someone was helpful inside the system. I joked with a friend when I apply I hope I haven't touched something in the past and left a finger print that comes back to haunt me for something I have no idea about. He joked back that is why he don't want to apply. At least I hope he was joking. Since I have never been arrested, spent a night in jail, never had anything more serious then a spending ticket/failure to yeild ticket. Very sure I am in the clear. Heck, never stood before a judge even as a junenile. Just can't believe I have waited until now to apply.
  20. Just signed up
  21. Ok, besides the Ruger. I as I am starting to look and learn about other guns. I have to ask and sorry if this is a dumb question, but when I keep seeing everyone's 1911's. I get it that there are 1911's that are for .22 and .45, probably others as well My big question is, are all 1911s made by Colt or to other gun makers also product 1911s? I am wondering if I see a 1911 if I can assume it is a Colt or not. Reason, I am keeping in this thread, I am adding Colt to my list I am considering, perhaps above the Ruger.
  22. Where I work in IT, we some times have to help the Corp clients with their unsupported home equipment. We never know what their out of support realm may include and we just have to use our own background knowledge on whether or not we have. 9 times out of 10 I do. We always have to give a disclaimer and stuff. We are not suppose to tell them what brands to buy if they ask but if they ask us what brands we use, we can answer like at my home I personally use Linksys routers.

Hate to hear about the coming unemployeement. I can imagine that conversation, sorry we are going to have to let you go, and while you are cleaning out your desk, we have some extra boxes we need you to help us move as well. Sorry that has to suck. Hope you find something in your field or better for you soon.
  24. Good thing they don't have free internet in the prison cells already.
  25. I did answer the Vicious animals, i have scars to prove it.
