It was Good to meet several of you guys, Mike.357, Ohshoot, I believe Garufa and a few others while I was out there taking my HCP. After I even got my wife to fire off a few rounds with the .22 Ruger I took. She had never shot before but seemed to like it.

I just spent today at Austin's class for HCP, playing catch up. Now I am home relaxing a little bit.

Isn't there something that was introduced with the new restaurant bill that if you got in trouble carrying a gun in a place you are not allowed it could end up hurting you for renewal? I know that is not this case but it seems because that was a misdemeanor related to a gun it was one of those things that might hurt at the renewal process. Seems someone pointed that out in another thread a few weeks back but I could not find it. I thought it was some exception due to carrying a gun passed a posted sign.

I will put it this way, when I sign up at the PD, I put it on my key ring. we drove up there and I had to take it off my key ring to use it.

I had a walmart employee tell me about a 30 minute power failure a Walmart had, mind you Only 30 minutes. They threw out every Meat, dairy, egg product they had. But first they had to label it had bad, run it though a register, so they could get a total for the insurance. They turned every penny of it in to insurance as a total lose. Seriously, who would want to mess with a 300 plus pound man carrying a pink gun. They would either think that gun is crazy or doesn't care what anyone thinks. But Gander Mnt seems to have to many Pink guns.

you know, a pink .22 with correct shot placement is still deadly. Also a BG might start laughing at the sight of a pink .22 and give you a better edge. I am secure in my manhood enough that I could care a pink gun, not that I would. Talking about pink guns, in gander mountain there is a pink gun, I believe a small .22 rifle, even my wife said she would not use.

I think there was a big rush on HCP when Obama was elected. I think the rush may have slowed down and the DOS has had time to caught up which has helped them get the average down to 3 weeks from what people are saying, minus the renewals.

I think if it was me and I could afford it, I would look into getting it expunged just in case the law changes in the future to include other misdemeanors. I would hate to have that haunt me later in life.
