  1. There again, i am now worried the world is going to end in 2012. I could probably write a book on why, at least a dam big thread. I am worried people will hoard up toilet paper and twinkies.
  2. yup, I would jump at a chance to be on that show. Step 1. what every basic supplies I start with. HID them, we know they get raided early and loose their
  3. I am not worried about the world ending in 2012, I am worried about everyone hording everything. I went though this in 1999. how soon we all forget. BTW, assuming we get though 2012, they already have the next 2 picked out, but I am getting ahead of the story. They have to keep the masses concerned about something.

This would be the year for it.
  5. TN does not have a parking lot bill like some other states. I hope we get one soon. No trees were harmed in the making of this message, but a few electrons were slightly disturbed.
  6. I just notice I ask about reciprocity when I was actually looking at http://www.handgunlaw.us/states/tennessee.pdf but I did get what I was needing I just ask it badly. New question coming in a new thread. This one can close. Well I was going to ask a question related to Body Armor Laws: 39-17-1323 but I googled the law numbers and found it (d) Nothing in this section shall prohibit the possession of a body vest for lawful purposes. I guess if I wanted to buy a vest to wear around the range I could, legally. I know they are pricy.
  7. Probably because your car is covered with
  8. I found my after talking to a former mechanic. after I left my battery unhooked and it stayed up. ruled out the battery, re connnected it, unhooked the alternator and found the battery also stayed up. with the alternator connected the battery would go dead.. Maybe I got lucky
  9. Glad to get the update. When you are buying the case, ask the guy if it can stand being run over by a aircraft fuel truck. tell him your story and maybe he will knock the price down some
  10. The last time my Ford Ranger was having that problem even though the alternator was charging good, it was a bad alternator. It has a short in the alternator that was not detectable by the testing, as the testing only showed whether or not it was charging but did determine if there was a short in it. I replaced the alternator and the problem has not come back. Advance auto test said my alternator was good, but my short was in it. In the meantime, if you are going to park it for 48 hours, disconnect a battery cable. See if it goes dead with a cable off. What I suspect caused my problem, about 2 months before I had a water hose blow and it blew water/anti freeze everywhere under the hood right beside the alternator and I am pretty sure it got in it.
  11. wow, I just read though this thread. what an adventure. I have a question, How much weight do you think you have lost on this trip? Man, if I could only get that kind of time off from work and not have to worry about bills it would be nice to take a trip like that.
  12. mystery solved, I talked to mom, she is on some property I did not know about. I thought they pulled from voter registration so I will assume I was wrong and had wrong beliefs on that for a while now.
  13. dam good editing though.
  14. What would new guns have to do with it really? to be a devil's advocate Old guns could but used to do allot of damage.
  15. some of the best bacon jokes ever
  16. hmm, wonder how mom got selected, She don't have a drivers license, or property in her name. We thought it was from voter registration. I am going to have to look into that.
  17. When they dropped you, should have ask, can i get a front row center seat, this one is going to be good.
  18. I don't know if I have been lucky or unfortunate to not have been selected for jury duty. Now my luck my HCP with show up with a summons for jury duty attached for saying this. Back to back years my parents both got called to Jury duty and both had to serve. It was kinda hard as Mom does not drive and the court house was a 40 mile drive from where they lived. First Dad was up, and at the time Claiborne Co herded everyone into the court room and drew names for the jury pools. Then toward the end, he was drawing for the grand jury and the very last name he drew he said and the Foreman will be, called out dad's name. Sitting there, dad just said Sh*t. One, he does not like to speak in public and he is not a fan of the legal system, plus he didn't like the judge at all. The next year, Mom had to serve on a case where a person went into a VFW(in short that didn't belong there) and attacked a Vet in a wheel chair and another vet defended him by hitting the attacker with a pool stick over the back or head. I don't full details. The attacker had a law suit, I guess civil against the man that defended they guy in the wheel chair. If it wasn't for Mom and about 3 others, she said the others on the jury wanted to give go against the guy that defended his friend. I am glad to know it turned out right for him. They joked I would be called the next year, but I think that was they year I moved. Where I work, they have a policy, if a person gets jury duty, they in short don't want you to use work as an excuse to get out of it. I think voting is what keeps you in the jury selection process right?
  19. i heard that a long time ago, it is a great one.
  20. It is a trick anti's are trying to get people to destory their guns. Cow Barrel.
  21. Yes, talking about the bacon there. I hope that kid got some bacon.
  22. +1 I like it crunchy.
  23. Well, I had a college professor in a business class that told us, he knew a person that conducted polls. When they needed a poll, the guy would start by asking, so what do you want to find out? He used an example with the right setup and questions, you could link the number of burgers sold at a fast food restaurant to teenage pregnancy. They did a poll of only 625 and claimed to have a margin of error of only 4 percent, give me a break.
  24. Paracord, seems everyone is always concerned with having a fair amount of the stuff on hand. I believe I even read a post where someone suggested replacing their boot laces with Paracord any input on that idea? I was just noticing it Paracord Olive Drab Mil Spec 50 feet and it got me thinking about something I had read a long time ago. Edit, I found Paracord at http://www.lapolicegear.com/trpa100fole.html 100ft for 5 bucks.
