OK, Call it re-con, but I was alerted to a poll on CNN The poll is on the main page, lower right corner. I have no problem with freedom of religion, however I don't like the thought ground zero mosque. My reason is, and I know not all Muslims where behind 911, but the radicals will of course consider it a major victory. Anyways, the poll is running 50/50 Do you agree with President Obama that Muslims have "the right to build a place of worship" near ground zero? 9 years and people are already forgetting.

With the hard time I had with walmart on a recent car battery issue, I probably would not have any a problem with it. I had a car battery less then a year old, by the date on the battery, Made in Nov 09 and the returns lady would not take it back because I didn't have my receipt. and there wasn't a manager I could talk with above her that Sunday evening. I went home, could not find the receipt, looked up my credit card bill on line and new I had made a wal mart purchase for the right amount in Early Nov 09, i went back on another day(a few weeks later) ready to argue my point and demand the main manger by name. If they gave me any trouble, I was going to point to the 3 year warranty on the battery sticker that says bring to wal mart and free testing at all wal marts. The lady (different lady) ask me ask me how I had paid for it, I told them with a credit card, they told me to go get another and they looked it up by the Serial number and I walked out with a new battery. BTW, the battery had a DEAD cell and would not take charge. I sucked up my pride and had advance auto test it for me, I also have my own batter charger I had triec. It had me so mad at walmart between the first and second visit had they made a mistake in my favor I would have been all over it up to the price of the battery and not felt any grief, as they should have done me right the first time I went in. I am still off by it and most likely won't buy another battery from them again.

You have to go to Costco for those.

My walmart has most the ammo behind glass behind the counter as well. I don't know the price of .44 either. I have a feeling I am about to learn the price of .45 all to well though. enjoy

Here is a guy in jail for not paying child support, and the guy has no kids. This is in GA. Proved by DNA. In short, if you find out years after the fact, the courts are ruling you are too late, you are past the statue of limitations. See last line in my signature.

US opposes Seoul’s bid to sell old rifles

I hope to know when these hit the market as I would like to try to get one of each, if I could get them in good condition. you know, safe enough to collect and shoot. Someone help keep me informed. -
Not a lawyer nor did I stay at a hotel last night, but having his name on the Birth Cert is bad for him. Judge will prbably rule him as the father. I have read cases in other states where a man proved by DNA he was not a father and still had to pay, I think it was in FL. I have a few minutes before TV I will try to find it. EDIT, Fix it fast..case law ins FL. I don't know about TN. http://lawvibe.com/dna-proves-not-biological-father-but-forced-to-pay-child-support/

I am not going to do this until after I get my HCP, still waiting. I found out people that applied a day after me got theirs issues on 8/2. So I called today only to find they are still doing my Background check. I live such a boring life they can't believe they are not finding anything on me I guess.

question, the Carbines, there are 2 main calibers of them right? I believe .30 caliber and 30.06 right? I like the movie, Carbine Williams , which seem somewhat based on some facts, some fiction, Not sure where the line is drawn. Carbine Williams (1952) The real-life David Marshall Williams did indeed invent the improvements in firearms which led directly to the development to the M-1 carbine, the weapon which helped to win World War II. And he did it while serving a long prison sentence for murder. The movie is probably one of the reason I would like to own one, it would be neat to own one that actually served in WW2, but pretty sure that will never happen, seems it might be possible to get one that may have served in Korea though. -
exactly, can't wait for him to start beating you regular on Madden, think of it this way, that would still be a win in the big picture

Does not sound paranoid to me. I have Dead bolts as well, but you know as well as I do, locks only keep the honest people honest. They won't stop a criminal Your dogs are just family pets or as we call them here in TN, extended family members. Your vet probably gave them your last name. Most everyone on this board has a few guns and a couple boxes of ammo for them. Almost everyone has family time that include time at gun ranges and other places to practice gun safety. Home alarms are not uncommon. I personally like alarms that can wake the dead 2 houses away, instead of silent because I want everyone to know if the SHTF. I would rather scare the primal off with an alarm if I am not home then risk him getting away with more stuff waiting on 10 minute plus police call, assuming an alarm company gets it reported in a timely manor.

I wonder if he can say he was just holding with traffic? This time I am not going to say to bad for him, he knew the law. He knew what would happen if he got caught. Not everyone in America knows about how the speeding ticket prices are in Europe but it has been that way for years. As Americans we can easily think that is unfair that he has to pay so much more then a person that might do the same thing that makes less money, however that is the law of the land. We might disagree with it and believe it to be unfair, but simple fact is, he was driving like an idiot. BTW, no one should believe the story about the faulty odometer. Anyone that has driven any reasonable amount of time can almost judge their speed by looking outside. I know in Germany Autobahn there are no speed limits when the road is open, and in other areas of Europe the speed limits are higher then the US I believe. Still when you know what the normal speed limit for your area is, most people can hold at it with out constantly looking at the speed. Also you know when you are going beyond it as well. 100 MPH looks a hell of allot different then 70 MPH. I am not going to convert to KPH

combined some and added. while cleaning a double barrel or pump shotgun, your choice. in a slow southern draw' "She's my daughter and she's all I got left,(twitch) I've got no problem going back to prison, ya here me boy? (spit tobacco) off the front porch."

wow, I am glad to hear it is working out. I read all these posts in this thread and before this had no idea. shame on you, let the kid win.

I can see both sides as well, perhaps he really did take allot of trades and needs to sale some inventory. I would also like to know what you are trying to sale as well, just being curious. If worth 500 to a shop, probably worth more to a buyer.

well, you know if they are sold, they will go to bulk buyers, that will sell them out to middle markets and so on and forth. By the time we see them they will mostly be in gun shows and very marked up prices. By the time we have the option to by them at 1 or 2 rifles, the price will probably be over 500 each or more. -
Be sure and let me/us know been planning to get there this fall.
