  1. THat is code. If the grammar is correct you will know I have been kidnapped and you had better round of a search party. Bring Beer.
  2. True they don't have to take cash, but I don't believe they can pick and choose which customers they accept cash from on the spot. Table A can pay with Cash but table B can not type of thing. If they are accepting cash from some, they have to accept it from all. Apple did it legal with a blanket policy that shocked everyone. At work when that happened we went to the US Treasury site and looked up the rules and found it was legal. We found it hard to believe but there it was.
  3. Remember the rules Rule 1: Cardio Rule 2: Beware of Bathrooms Rule 3: Seatbelts Rule 4: Doubletap
  4. since I am here.
  5. I just talked to a good friend that usually in the know on such things. She pretty much told me it up to the business to decide which forms of ID they will accept from the lists I posted on page. She told me they can discriminate against some forms of ID. I feel that is wrong, however it is there right not to accept our money in this bad economy as well. I hope comes outright sending from my phone.
  6. Thanks Glenn. The reason for that is, I was told back a while the CC companies protect the stores in the event of Fraud. The stores are covered as well as the card holder. I believe the card holder if fraud is proved can only be held accountable for something like $50 dollars. No I am not going to look it up tonight. I have to work tomorrow. I did not know about that link for Merchant Violations. I know a place to test this. Cinemark Tinseltown in Oak Ridge is bad to ask for ID when you use a CC. I refused and said something one and well, lets say it pissed off my wife. It was a few years back and I understood it then that merchants had to treat credit cards like cash, no ID. My wife hates it if I make a scene but if I am right, I am not going to be walked on. I am going to try to be polite about it.
  7. In short, they can run your prints and compare against crimes I guess and or see if you are on file under any other names. You know you haven't been printed before but they aren't just going to take your word for it. I got my in Knoxville west side at 'Going Postal'. Edit. Opps, sorry missed the part about needing it on paper, Going Postal is digital.
  8. that was a good couple minute ROFL.
  9. Wish I had those kinds of skills. Sounds like that kind of work could really pay off. Nope, not even close on any of those skills.
  10. interesting. If there is no background reason for him to skip out, anything outside of his control could have been the reason for this and he may really have no memory. However that being said if there was anything he might have wanted to skip out on, it becomes very suspect. Right now, taken with small grains of salt.
  11. Good one, I had to look close to see why you did that, but with the picture I knew what I was looking for. Nope I don't have that cert either, I almost did it, but I could not get my dad to sign off on the consent form when I wanted to take it. I know, nothing holding me back now but my interested are in other places currently.
  12. I am just a troll so nights.
  13. hmm, No ID for drinks but They want ID for cash. Seems Half backwards.
  14. I am with Mike on this all the way.
  15. I probably would have as nice as I could looked at him/her and said I don't have my ID with me. (that warning about the fake 100's, Remember what I dug up and posted on it, that is a fake spam dating back to the early 90's) Don't get me wrong, there are fakes out there but they need to check for them, use the pen and check for the water mark.
  16. kb4ns, you right there. It is like when you get 2 dollar bills at the bank and try to spend them. (try it) half the people ask for a manger because they have never seen them before. I love getting 2 dollar bills, I like to use them in my tips when I go out. However I don't have any right now. I have gave them all away.
  17. I have not found out if they can get in trouble but I am firing off a couple emails I sent my email to I know they are mainly listing about tobacco, but they have some alcohol info on the site. Beer Posting Downloadable Sign | TFCA - Tennessee Fuel & Convenience Store Association The email addres i used is tfca@tfca.info I will post back if they reply to me.
  18. I Have liked him since he tried to take TV away from prisoners, then when the courts made him give them like 4 channels. I think he gave them 2 weather channels and 2 cartoons channels. He gave them weather so they would know just how Hot it would be outside.
  19. Well to Sound like the Broken Record that I am sometimes, as I pointed out, it is legal ID and if they decline it they are wrong. I do not know what trouble they can get into for not accepting a valid ID but I am sure they can get in some kind of trouble. I have TV in the next few minutes if no one cares to look it up before TV is over and if I have time I will try to search for it later.
  20. Dam I can't find a video on youtube for this. I hate when I know the prefect video clip and can't find it. From family guy.
  21. I just found this thread and started reading though it before I found who old it was. I was about 2 pages in before I noticed the year. Since it was started in Aug of 2008, I just noticed the Aug and didn't read the year and thought it was fresh and though man I fell 10 8 pages behind. Anyways, late to the game but for the comments on writing the property owners, won't work, complain to the tenants by letter, let them know they are losing customers.
  22. I perfer tuning in Tokyo, but I understand that is not allowed at Hooters. Guess I just have to stay home.
  23. Yup, glad you where ready, stayed cool and nothing bad happened. Good move planning on using the Engine block as extra armor. Most people watch Movies and think a Car door is enough. I bet a .22 will go though most car doors. Engine block is going to stop most if not all hand guns.
  24. I wonder if the guy was a regular and was just messing with them and to see the reaction from people. I swear a gun shop in Lafollete TN about 14 years ago told me a .22 was useless. I went in looking for a .22. I knew what I wanted and what I wanted it for at the time. The guy ask me what I wanted it for, I told him I worked last and drove home late and just wanted to carry a gun with me. ( hold your reaction Let me finish). He said if you every have to shoot someone with a .22 they will take it away from you and use it on you. I replied, well if it didn't hurt him it won't hurt me. We can joke about it, but a .22 it still going to hurt and can be deadly, however it could also stop the threat, might take a couple rounds though. (keep in mine this was about 14 year ago and my thinking has changed allot since then).
