1. Warning, once you read it, you can't unread it. Murders of Channon Christian and Christopher Newsom - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
2. I was trying to give an example to what towerclimber37 said about Credit unions and customer service. Guess I got carried away.
3. Give us a bit more info. I am a bit out of practice on home setups other then mine. I am mainly in business support currently but I do have some background on the homeside. What windows are you running, ME, XP, Visita, Windows 7? We know you have Comcast. Do you have a router? Are you wireless? I see you are getting these problems in IE. Have you tried Firefox for testing at least? If only IE, do you know if it is 6, 7, or 8? I am going to stop there and give you a breather. Before considering spyware/viri problems. As suggested full network reboot is not a bad idea, power on the modem first, wait for it to come up, then the router, wait for it to come up, then the PC.
4. I have started getting my PSA checked as well. I understand the PSA blood check is more accurate then the other test anways. I am much prefer giving blood to have it tested that way. I don't remember my last numbers but they where well in the safe range last year. I will keep it monitored though. I believe I was around a 2 but I can't be certain. However, I can tell cholesterol is going to be my problem area. I know it is the food I love to eat, more then a medical problem. If I lay off certain foods for 3 months my numbers return to normal. Doc wants me on meds but I am trying to avoid it by trying to eat better.
5. Well, that thread comes up with a search using credit, but not y12 using the forum search tools. So from what I gather 3 letters is just 3 short for some current setting. Probably normally not a big deal. I just happened to be the search I was looking for at the time and it was driving me up the wall.
6. I think it has all been said now. 1, be there for her, be supportive and let her know you are willing to teach her everything you can and answer any questions she has about gun. I don't want to dig into your personal life as everyone has different backgrounds and histories. This being East TN. Did she grow up in a home with guns? My wife's Dad probably has 20 pistols, and in the 14 years I have known them, I don't believe any of them have been shot once. My wife never shot a gun until the day I took my HCP class. I am in a way glad our washing machine broke the way it did back in the summer. It made a horrible sound like someone was breaking in the front door. Had it been an armed robbery I would not have had time to have loaded a gun or done anything. The noise along scared the crap out of both of us, and the cat. Thanks to the washing machine scare we now have a loaded pistol or 2 in the house at all times. That was a wake up call to her just how fast things could go bad.
7. Actually Never mind, you can close this. I found it. Seems my problem was I was searching for 2 small of a word. I believe a 3 letter search may not be allowable. I can search for larger words, but not 3 letters.
8. I am having a hell of a time with Search. I can't seem to search for anything with out getting a sorry message about Sorry - no matches. Please try some different terms. I have tried the Search at the top right. The Advance Search directly under it. I have been inside a forum, such as
2nd Amendment Issues using Search forum and even the advance under it. Tried threads and posts. I found I was having trouble yesterday when I was trying to find a thread on y12. Someone else found it and I know the thread I was searching for is in
2nd Amendment Issues now. So using it as a test, I still can not get search to work to find it. Here is the thread I was using for a test bed to try and find. http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/2nd-amendment-issues/45638-you-may-carry-ay-y12-credit-union.html I was searching for y12 and or Y12, seems those should be hits on it. Any ideas what I am doing wrong? seems I am having trouble searching by key words. But I can search by my own posts or username easy enough. However that doesn't help me if I don't remember who made a post I am looking for. BTW, tried with both IE and Firefox.
9. certain a good short time, much shorter then mine.
10. Thanks for finding that link. I still can't get the search to find that thread but the link there works. Now to figure out why I can't get a simple search to work.
11. Y12 and ORNL both have once security feature that Bank of America will laugh at if you ask. I have a Security work on my Y12 and ORNL accounts, when I do any transaction they ask me for my security word. This was not a default option but something I was offered when I ask about increasing the security on my account after losing my wallet once. I know I had my y12 and ORNL cards in my Wallet. I later found my wallet, at home , nothing missing. Bank of America had no such option to add another layer of security to my account. I have another issue with Bank of America security, I once found a phishing site that attempted to mirror Bank of America. It was a dam good clone if I do so so myself. I tried to report it to Bank of America over the phone figured they would want to know. BTW, no, I spotted it and I did not put in my account in. Over the phone, they where no interested, even when I got my self transfered to some cybersecurity department. So as a last attempt, I figured I knew the people at my local Bank of America and trying to be helpful. I printed out what I had. Copied the trojan to a CD, along with some other info that I had collected on it. I drove to the local office. I ask one of them if I could have a few moments of their time. We went to their office, I explained it. That person was some what concerned but run into the same road blocks I did trying to report it. Strike 2. At the time, I was a pretty active member on a PC tech form so I reported everything I had their. I got the attention of someone that knew IT security better then I did. He got a hold of the host that was hosting the site and had it down in 30 minutes. Due to Bank of Americas lack of concern, I almost closed the account, but because of direct deposits setup there with mine and my wifes work and all out house bills setup. I just removed all the extra money from there. I only leave enough money there to cover bills now. But Deep down, I don't like them.
12. glad zoom is working now. The 2.1 worked fine for me. Come to think of it, I didn't even ask if you are using the default browser or if you have installed a new one yet. Dolphin HD is a good free one to add. It is what I mainly use on my Droid X. Also, the market place is smarter, better, more options iwth the newer firmware, better battery management options.
13. One thing that is really neat, but you have to forgive them on history. They had to make this work for the story. They made up a Spiegel Colt. It was suppose to have been make in 1835 (which is really 1 year to early) For the show, it was timed to be with the fly over of Halley's Comets and the night the men died at the Alamo. For this, this colt was even bullets instead of cap and ball. But that is because it had to be limited to 13 Spiegel bullets. Warning, this link might be spoilers for those that have not kept up with the show. It tells about the Colt and how/where the bullets where used. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Banazir/The_Colt_(Supernatural) The colt for the show, is closest to a Patterson revolver, which is a cap and ball.
14. It is starting it's 6th and final season tonight, don't start tonight you will be forever lost. In short, 2 brothers, not only hunt supernatural things. They have to discover the lore behind it, discover what will work on it. In short, they pack a good adventures into an hour episode. The stories build on each other so it is best to watch in order. In the past 2 seasons, it has been boarder line getting ready for a SHTF, last season was a Heaven and Hell knock down drag out fight. This season is going to be picking up the pieces, you don't want to start here.
15. I did not have to connect USB cable at all to either of my phones for the firmware update. Did not even remove the battery. The update took about 15 minutes to download, 15 minutes to install.
16. welcome aboard. I bailed on AT&T last month for the DroidX. I hated AT&T but i had an old grandfathered in plan that was pretty good. But over all hated them since back when they where really bellsouth and cingular. Bellsouth sent my previous job to India and Philippines. I could have went to the philippines to train my replacements, however I had just got married and that would not have been a good idea.
17. 30 minutes until Supernatural returns. Been waiting for this.
18. Someone can break into your home, you can shoot them. They leave live or die. Under the castle doctrine you are in your rights and not Criminal liable, however they or their family can still sue you in civil court. Remember, it was civil court where even OJ lost. Civil court is the one that costs you money.
19. Well, considering he has a badge number and a name. We still only have 1 side. I would like to see video from the THP car. However, reading the part about the drug dog is kinda by belief, if they want to find a reason for a search or to get a warrant, they will find a reason. ( that is as far as I will go) We only have 1 side, the side of an angry, upset person. No judgments being made.
20. Just wait until this winter when there is the slightest hint of snow, the panic buying of milk and bread. If anyone wants a clue how fast the stores will be out during a SHTF event, wait for a Weatherman call for snow in East TN then go out and try to buy Milk and bread.
21. I certainly won't be using Regions. BTW. As for cashing out. I think they are required to have a certain amount of cash available. I would not be in a mood to accept a check. A check would not do me allot of good to have to take to another location to try and spend.
22. My wife and I both got one about a month ago. Not had the problem you are having. Reboot it. BTW, a new firmware was just released like 2 days ago, last on the 21 or 22nd. I installed it on my this morning and I am at I post updating my wifes. it is 2.3 something. It might help you. I know the new firmware has much better battery management and other features. I bet your phone still has 2.1 on it.
23. We discussed this in another thread about a month ago. I checked at Oak Ridge then and it was not. EDIT. I just tried searching for the thread and I can't find it. I know it was out there and I had a couple replies in it.
24. I had 2 days off, tweaked and updated my home network. Updated firmware in my routers to the lastest DD-WRT. Watched some TV shows I fail behind on.
25. I got the passes right as I was paying close attention there, however I knew I would end up missing something. Thread Down, BEARS.
