  1. I have allot of PB$J.   My PB might have come from the supermarket, but I have a kitchen cabinet full of Amish Jelly. (it is so good).  Very close to what mom used to make.  This spring, we plan for her to help me learn to make it right.
  2. As many of you know, I don't venture outside of East TN often with the exception of when my wife has a business trip for training which is normally Middle TN.   Well looks like I get to drive her again to Nashville.   Besides my usually run down time for expensive domestic beer, I believe I am going to take a Tour of the Capital.    While I am at the capital, anything I should take special note to see?  I do plan to take the guided tour.   http://www.capitol.tn.gov/about/capitolvisit.html   I am going to attempt to make some actual plans this time other then just wondering around Broadway, even though I really like going there even though it is expensive.     Not including an exact date yet, don't want them to close down the city before I show up.  :D
  3. But the public was just shown, cheap oil and knows it is possible and higher prices are the result of greed.  However, people are still over the barrel so to speak if prices do go back up as they are unable to give up their cars.
  4. Doesn't sound like Norton did a good job of protecting it since you ended up having to reset it anyways.   Well, at least it spotted it and warned you so you could take corrective steps.
  5. and don't for the Yemeni president steps down.   The whole region is going to be more unstable now and ISIS is everywhere over there and Liam Neeson thinks we have 2 many guns while he considers joining the other side.   :stir:
  6. I admit, I had to look it up.  I was close but not exact in my thinking.
  7.   You make a good point.  I will tell my wife I can buy 1 gun per purse.  If you don't hear from me for a few days, you know what happened.
  8. since I brought 2 last time and well I haven't taken step 1 to get them built yet, I will only be in for 1 of these.
  9. Now the Christmas is behind us, and after Feb 9th, I would probably be interested if this becomes a go.
  10. I want to see the reviews and I bet their will be a bit pricy being new.   BTW, it said he was looking for a place to make them and hire people   Maybe tell him to bring them to TN.  We could use more jobs and local guns.
  11. Dad didn't let me get my license until 17, although at 16 he let me get my motorcycle license. (I had rode since 1st grade).
  12. I might just have to order some of these and test it in all my .bolt action rilfe, Walter P22 and my GSG1911 .22lr     with shipping, looks like 500 rounds come out to .14 cent.  Could probably be better, but gets worse if you don't buy enough to cover the shipping in the math. 250 rounds is about .16 cent a round.  Give or take, not doing exact to the penny total price.   I admit, I still look to find it around .09 or .10 cent.  I am starting to believe those days are gone for a while if they ever come back.
  13. Should have also go a picture from behind with the tag number.   If it is in public, it is fair game.
  14. Yea, I want a bit more then .380.  I could go with a 9mm.
  15. Funny I often think that as well.  (referring to OS).
  16. yup, after Cash for Clunkers, new cars got more expensive while reducing the used car market. Thus driving the price of used cars up as well.    Much like .22 ammo will take years to recover.
  17. I feel I am in that same boat.  interested in so many things, but a master of known.     BTW this spring when I have the funds, (around April, I would value your experience and knowledge on my first AR Build..   I have the basic ideas of what I want.
  18.     Didn't read all commments   this time last year after about a year of looking I found a Ford Sport Trac 4x4 used.  4.0. Most I found around 5k were junk.  I stepped up and started looking near 10k   I found one for 8.8k and got it for 8k   Been pretty happy with it.   Found a minor issue or 2, but still happy with it.   I finally got the chance to test the gas mileage on a road trip and was pretty impressed.   In town and with a 1 mile drive to work, I get like 15 miles per gallon.   On the interstate I found I got 25 mpg at 70mph, and 26mpg at 60mph.  I was happy with that.   The only thing I would do different would be to probably stepped my price up to about 12k and got a couple years newer and lower miles, but still very happy with my truck.  It has all the bells and whistles.
  19.   OS is a fountain of knowledge.  I have met him a few times.  One of these days I am going to ask him what kind of work he does/did.  Probably overqualified for it.   This spring when I finally get some extra money I am a going to ask his opinion on building my first AR.  I know the basics of what I want to end up with but that is it.
  20. I think I am going to try and old out for a case of stingers.  I prefer them anyways
  21. seems when I find .22lr it is brands I have never heard of.  Geco .22lr   Can't beat this item description.   "Optimized for Bolt Action Rifles."   Sounds like a fancy way to say it isn't powerful enough for semi automatics.   http://www.aimsurplus.com/product.aspx?item=ARU22GECO&name=Geco+.22lr+Rifle+40grn+LRN+50rd+box&groupid=18
  22. Not a Holiday where I work.  We will be there normal time, normal hours for normal pay putting up with the normal BS.
