Sounds like where I work, they use websense as well and they monitor it. With the knowledge that everything surfed is tracked and logged I dare not chance upsetting the people in charge. They don't want us to bring our personal laptops in either, so I stick to my Droid for those times I really need to check something. I know they have checked work machine several times, and I keep it spotless. I know of at least 2 people I worked with that have been fired for having stuff on their machines that did not belong. Believe it or not, one was fired for setting up Portable Firefox.

When a Judge won't listen to both sides, that is a judge that needs to go. I won't watch TV judges because they are all hype and it is all scripts for ratings. I have seen a few of the shows like Judge Judy and others a few times and when they won't let one side finish their side, I just won't watch them. Sounds like the case you described even went down that road, so it does not sound like it was a fair at all.

yup, maintenance and hoping the check clears.

California Governor Signs Marijuana Decriminalization Bill

Well I am sure some one could come up with a road side test to determine if you are to impaired to be on the road due to Pot. It might even start with if every other word is dude. Or it could be a If you use Pot in any form, smoke, ingest, you are not legal to drive or operate machinery for 24 hours or something like that. Correct me where I am about to be wrong, but a drug test can detect if a person has used a pot in one form or another for something like 28 days give or take. However it is detecting trace amounts which is well below the amount to impair a person. I am sure with some research they could determine the impair area to test for the amount of THC. I bet with some effort they could even get it in the form a breath test, much in the same way they test for alcohol. -
We might have to Dust off the Wright Flyer, since everything else we have might be to fast for those. Being Serious, I bet our WW2 P51 Mustangs would be able to take them. Lets add even HellCats, P38 lightning and or Spitfire. My favor Ally fights of WW2.

I was watching a show on History CH I think boneyards or a show like it where they where scarping some A10s, ones that where beyond use. They where carefully pulling out some parts to be recycled for other aircraft. They where pulling the Engines for other fighters. I believe it was being done in Israel However the Disturbing thing was they showed a young guy (American) whose job was to dismantle the main gun and make certain it could not be reassembled. -
way for them to join the 1940's. Almost looks like something some people might build in their backyard. I expected something a bit better.

California Governor Signs Marijuana Decriminalization Bill

The main reason I believe it is illegal is because it is not taxed. I agree. Tax it to pay for health care, win win ? No, they will just say the Federal law trumps and they can still arrest people. Like when they made medical marijuana legal, federal law still could arrest people. The state left them alone but the feds could still go in and bust them, at least at first. I don't know the current rules. Look at all the cost and effort they put into weed control. Defense lawyers, trial by jury, time in the court rooms, then having to house them for several years after words for such a minor thing. example. I have a cousin facing a 5 year felony for selling marijuana right now. He was 18, a girl 17 gave him money and ask him to buy her some. He did. She took it to school got caught with it and gave him up as the source. Since she was under age, she got nothing. He got suspended on her word. They called in the LEO, he thought he was doing the right thing, confused. DEA raided his moms house, found nothing else. From what I gather, the girl was caught with about 1 once of pot. I think it was in Arkansas. I am not very close with that part of the family and they live in 3 states back and forth. Also found out her, her Boyfriend is already in jail before this happened on drug charges. Seems she is true jailbait. -
I agree 100 percent. That is just common sense. However, common sense just isn't common anymore.

What was that judge smoking That is a prefect example of what I have said for years. Judges don't get enough action, don't see enough of the world to know what is going on. They don't have a understanding of how the world works. They are so deprived of entertainment that anyone that is willing to stand in front of them and admit to being stupid and doing dumb s**t they reward them. It is like their own personal game show it seems like, except they are not the ones having to pay out the prize money. Does not see right your Dad was not allowed to speak as the eviction hearing. Someone that is 5 months behind and doing that much damage should never be given 6 more month for any reason. I would have ask a Lawyer to find any thing I could sue her for, then if nothing else knowing she would not/could not pay ofter her a deal to get her ass out to drop charges or something. Would need a very smart lawyer to work the right deal.

Seems if he left it, he could not claim anything. Plus if he it was going to claim a value, seems he would have to be able to prove a reasonable value.

TN permit holders vs those who actually carry
vontar replied to Erik88's topic in Handgun Carry and Self Defense
I can not have one at work, not even in the parking lot. So I don't carry To and From work. This is why I want the parking Lot law like KY and some other states have. Moving forward. I have started carrying out and about more and more. Still getting use to carrying but the more I do, the more natural it feels. I no longer have those first time jitters and it is beginning to be like picking up my keys. -
At least you where outside today. I was in my cubical doing a thankless job. I am like some many other people sick of my job, but with the current job market it is dam risky to try to break away from stable money.

Really it should only be a misdemeanor at most. That is coming from a person that has never smoked it. However if I had cancer or something else that it was useful in treating hell yea I would use it. I don't think a politician that has no medical background is qualified to made laws related to medical decisions. If a doctor says you need it, that is good enough for me. If it eases the pain of someone on their death bed, give it to them. What are they going to do, get hooked on it. -
