  1. exactly what I thought.
  2. Today while my wife and I was out I found this sign. No Gun Buster and since it does not contain the legal language as I understand I guess it is not legally binding correct? More of a request? Kind of a non proper post that they do not need to be informed about. BTW I kept my big mouth shut. Yes, I understand they do not seem to want my money, however my wife really wanted to go and well sometimes you have to give in to the boss.
  3. Thursday I went to visit my folks up in Clairfield TN and go scouting for Deer Season. Things like this make me want to invest in a dash camera. On my return trip, coming though White Oak I was following Red GMC. I was a good safe distance behind him, more then the 2 second rule. We were driving about 35-40 mph. The roads are a bit curvey in that area if you don't know. I am not certain how long I had been following that truck as it was uneventful until what happened next. I was about to call my wife to let her know I was running late as when we got on top of the Mountain in White Oak there is generally good cell signal, when all of the sudden there was allot of sparks under that truck. I saw one of it's tires go about 50 feet into the air. It skid to a stop on it's front right rotor just leaving the road into a parking lot. I pulled in with them to check and make sure the driver and passenger were OK. They were. After checking to make sure they where OK and seeing if there was anything I could do to help, there wasn't, I took a picture and left. They had a cell phone and called for someone to come get them. It should be noted, in this area there are allot of houses around and good cell signal. I didn't just abandon them beside the road. Looking at it, 4 of the 5 studs broke off and one appears to have stripped off. If you know the area they where very lucky in some regards, a couple miles back and it was nothing back curvey mountain roads very few guard rails and no places to pull off the road and more of the same a couple miles ahead. For something like that to happen, it couldn't have happened in a better place.

    I have a job

Grats. It might be best at least until you get to know your co workers, when it comes to talking about guns, be Grey at first. I know where I work there are allot of people scared to death of guns. Even have to be careful of who is in the room when talking about hunting and fishing where I work or else might often those higher ups that could make life more difficult then it needs to be.
  5. BTW, how long was he unconscious in the hospital? I need to go back and watch it again as I was falling asleep, but it seems when he got information from the other characters a Month had pasted? How did he survive a month in the hospital, wounded, unconscious for so long even if he wasn't attacked? Seems the body would not have lived that long or an infection would have setup. I know I am probably reading 2 deep into this. I guess I just want a time frame for how long he was unconscious in the hospital.
  6. Remember, avoid large cities, there will be more zombies there.
  7. Wow, ask people a simple question and see what you give. I look at that sign and this is what I see, they gave people a simple Yes or No question. It was not a statement, it was just to see how people would react and that woman in red was a prefect example of an over reaction for not reading or understanding. However, with out Daniel's google, I also was misunderstanding it as well. I thought it was a way of asking if I believed he was born in Kenya as well. I probably would have just gave me answer and moved on. However would not have stayed and argued so I would not have made a scene. Yup, they are putting it in almost everything. It is even in your KOOL AID.
  8. A few minutes ago I intended to change the TV to new to see election coverage and I got Ch. 10's Biggest Loser and thought how appropriaten (seems I was 30 minutes early for the news) . I believe we are going to have some major changes come morning, followed by a few weeks of recounts.
  9. Good thoughts, I have a couple places in mind I want to review with that in mind. Lincolns in Oak Ridge for One.
  10. Sorry to hear it Jamie.
  11. Currently at the The Irish Times. That is all.
  12. Try Japan to USA 27.Kayak across the Pacific Ocean Entering United States (Hawaii) 38. Kayak across the Pacific Ocean Entering Washington
  13. I guess i need to edit my camera video I took right in the middle of Oak Ridge and put it on Youtube now. Give me a a some time.
  14. very nice work. From time to time I sometimes have intest in such items, no big quality just personal. I will keep you in mind.
  15. I get excited around them, but like anything I keep my senses. Faster heart rate and I am ready to make a decision if needed. Hopefully that means I will be the cat that sees it coming and gets out of the way in time. My fear is something will hit in in the middle of the night when I am asleep and I won't be able to even have time to get my shoes.
  16. Here is the thread http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/survival-skills/41994-long-term-survival-4.html It just pointed me to them. Like I said, I don't know enough and I would not go off in that direction unless it was say one of the END of the WORLD or government events and I had very little choice. Like Jamie pointed out, in this case, it is the same meds for a person costs much more. However, the way a politician would fix this would be to increase the pet meds instead of decrease human meds. No wonder my Health Insurance at work went up 58 percent this year.
  17. Just recently here on the board I read in another thread people talking about fish antibiotics. I read a little about them. I understood what I read and what I googled. I don't know enough to proscribe myself by any means but yea. I worked with a person once that said he once got his meds though a vet once. Keep in mind, before any of it was approved for humans, they were all tested on animals anyways. or your choice.
  18. Well they are blaming the voters and it seems they did not complain at the time of voting. Watching the video, it seems they did not point it at to the helpers at the polls, they ran directly to the news. I could see how a programming error could cause a preselected check box, however it seems that would be on every machine unless someone just modified a machine which would be a true crime. I am not going to get in and I am not trying to start a debate over the safe guards on these machines for voting as I don't know. I will agree if anything came up other then blank it would be wrong but if this is happening seems like more then 3-5 people would have said something.
  19. Sorry to hear everything you have been though this week. As they say, when it rains it pours. I totally understand, our pets are part of our family's and if people don't understand that it can not be explained. Hang in there, Jamie and be strong for your family.
  20. Wow, thanks for the picture. One thing about yesterday and when storms like this happen the radio lets everyone call in and get on the air. Unconfirmed reports put more people on edge then anything. I am not saying yesterday was not bad, don't get me wrong. Strong storms should be taken seriously. I have a block building which is my safest place in the event I need a safe place. If Oak Ridges gets it bad, I also have a chain Saw/fuel to start cutting my way out. Yesterday when Anderson Co became part of the Tornado warning (about 2:45 p.m.), it was the north part of the county but they list the whole county to make it simple. The storm when they talked about it and the radar showed it clearly missing Oak Ridge. However they had a caller calling in from Oak Ridge reporting seeing a Funnel Cloud on New York Ave. I had just left Oak Ridge about 15 minutes before that, weather was not bad in Oak Ridge at the time I left, so I can not directly say it is not true, but I did call a co worker that works about 3 blocks from New York Ave with windows pointed in that direction who is a big weather person. He just laughed when I told him what, when and where. I am not saying every caller is lying, but I don't' believe every single I Funnel cloud report, but some callers just should not be put on the radio. Not this storm but there was an event back in the spring I was watching on the radar and listing to on the radio, someone called the radio and reported high winds with a funnel cloud in over Oak Ridge. I was outside and the Sun was still shining and the wind was still claim. They reported the location and it was only blocks from my house. I know some people that are deathly afraid of storms that they go hide in their basements when just a little thunderstorm goes over and it is my opinion sometimes these might be the types of people that are getting though to the radio to just get a report though, accurate or not.
  21. +100 Ohshoot for Office Image putting Ohshoot in the oval office, there would a gun range installed on the back lawn of the white house as his first improvement. Seems every President gets to do something, that could be his.
  22. Seems like I already LMFAO at this, but it is still funny a second time around.
  23. I like the bit about Except LEO's on official duty. I read that to mean, once we kick out the law abiding citizens and the bad guys hold us up, we welcome LEO's to come rescue us. However if you are an Off Duty LEO out with your family leave your piece at home.
  24. I am just proud of my first youtube. I found my surround my zombies unarmed. I got dragged to west town mall (by my wife) and I had the same concerns as OP. I believed it to be posted so I was unarmed. Guys in general I have been carrying allot, but for her and this one trip she wanted to go to the Mall I disarmed for her. Then dam it, I run into zombies. BTW, tomorrow I might be getting my Judge, 45/410.
  25. Someone said in Regal around the Ticket booths there are some gun busters, so that would be the movies past the booths would be legally posted. I have not seen any at the mall doors myself, but I am not there often. Friday I entered thought the Parking garage at regal, expecting to see one there. I did not, I found no smoking signs I did not go near the ticket booths as I was not buying tickets or watching a movie. I watched the Thriller Zombie Dance. I did try to look for them at one of the Mall doors near KAYs, but I did not see a gun busters or the legal language on the doors. I did see a Mall rules sign posted on the side of a wall between the double set of doors but just on one side (a blue sign but I did not take time to stop and read 10 rules or however many there was). I think somoene has posted it says something about they don't want firearms on the property but I don't know exactly what it says. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yPhyJ9j2Y5s
