Found what I was looking for. Don't pay to much attention to the Youtube video name and the ad for photoblocker. This video gets real interesting just before the 2 minute mark. Pay attention to what happened to the contracts with the red light company when the city For safety increased YELLOW lights. Due to the contract the private company, they hit the city over the head with it.

I was trying to find something about court costs and if it gets thrown out. However I found this interesting article on how to beat a photo radar camera ticket in AZ. How they trick people into signing away their rights by mailing the tickets to people and asking people to sign and return instead of serving the papers as the law requires at least in AZ. Photo Radar - Red Light Camera http://www.newswithviews.com/guest_opinion/guest77.htm In 2001 the city of Mesa, Ariz. also lengthened the time for yellow lights by one second. That action is credited with a permanent safety improvement and a reduction of 73 percent in the number of citations issued by red light cameras. That caused a major decline in revenue, which the city has taken steps to improve, according to a recent report in the Arizona Republic. The speed limit on most roads in Mesa has been lowered, and speeding fines are now higher. Mesa has speed cameras and a combination of red light cameras that also catch speeders. The lower speed limits are expected to improve revenue for the city, according to the Arizona Republic.

BTW, every car/truck I have ever owned or drove enough to know I have noticed one thing they all had in common. Starting with a full tank of gas, you get X number of miles on the first 1/4 of gas used. The next 1/4 to half tank you get less miles. The next 1/4 to a quarter tank you get even less miles traveled. That very last 1/4 drops the fastest of all. My ranger I can 100 miles going from Full to 3/4 but I am not at 200 when I get to a half tank, more like 150, just guessing. Been a while since I really check my mileage. BTW, if I knew I had a 28 gallon tank and drove into a station and filled up with 30 gallons(including the neck) I would not be buying more gas there as I would suspect their pumps of being wrong. I would assume you had at least half gallon of gas driving in, the Neck from the time you get the first auto turn off of a pump you do good to get in another half gallon in most cases. However sounds like you probably have a big truck, probably a long neck on it, but it probably already has gas in the neck when it is kicking off the first time.

I the song I am looking for has come up on my pardora on one of my custom stations. Problem Is I have about 8 different stations, it was probably under my Hank Williams JR or Toby Keith. If/when I find it I will be sure to let everyone know.

checked the Lyrics and that is not the one I am looking for. I think the guy names several things and the lyrics might contain something like it doesn't get any more fun then that.

i am more referring to the game we southerns play on city folk. I Know there is an actually bird called a snipe.

There is a Country song I am trying to remember the name of. I have only heard it a few times. I can't remember a lot about it, but know there is a part that he talks about all his friends taking him snipe hunting and he hasn't got one yet but they are taking him again next week.

I know growing up I remember being checked several times by game wardens. If we where in the truck they just ask us if the loads were loaded but they never actually checked for themselves. I remember coming out of the woods to the road and having my license checked. I guess he just assumed I had a loaded rifle. However you brought up an interesting point about muzzleloaders. I can not quote the law but I have read it a few times and I am sure someone will probably quote it. I believe a muzzleloader is considered unloaded as long as the percussion cap is not in place.

I have seen all of the movies but I have not read one of the books. I am a fan to the point I enjoy the movies and the story line. I do no dress up in character or camp out for tickets.

TSA Out of control: Takes 3year toddler teddy bear and requires pat down

how about this Metal detectors, drug and bomb sniffing dogs. If you set those off, then you are subject to other means such as pat down and or screenings. -

That is the type of character building I don't want to have any part of. -

I should add, if I fly I am going to wear a athletic supporter. If they touch it, I am going to say they where trying to touch my junk as that is the only way they could have go that close. BTW, I don't think I want a non medical person checking me there. (Not to crazy even for a medical person to check, I just think it is just as uncomfortable for them as well.) I don't know what that person's sexual orientation is, maybe they have people doing the screening that are really enjoying going to work. -

<--has never ran out of gas in a Car, I did once on a motorcycle due to a person stealing some of my gas at camp the night before. Here is a Tip, it does not cost any more to keep a car filled up then to keep it on half or near E. I like to know I have plenty of gas just in case. If I were to get an emergency call in the middle of the night I know I can jump in my truck and go. My wifes car would be another story. I want to know I have at least 100 miles worth of driving available in the tank, however in general I fill up around half tank, it does not seem like such a hit on the wallet as if I wait until closer to E. When I started driving Dad gave me hell once when I let a car get below 1/4 of a tank, that was about 20 years ago, I still don't do it. I still remember the day, the car, what I did to get it lower then 1/4, where we went to get gas after. The reason, I had just started driving but dad would not let me drive more then 2 miles from home, on the dirt road we lived on by myself, so I drove back and forth waiting for him to be ready to go out further. Then when he was ready I had it lower then a 1/4. He was not pleased.

Pistol Carry question and Deer hunting question
vontar replied to vontar's topic in Hunting and Fishing
Yep, I agree I would not draw the 38 on a deer having my Rifle. However just maybe after shooting a deer and I walked up to it to find I had been as sucessful as I would intend on the rifle shot and found it to still be alive on the ground I might on the spot make a decision to finish it off with the pistol. However I just measured the barrel of the 38 and it is just barely under 4" even if I put the tape measure right up to the revolver cylinder. I am not certain on where to measure from but I assume it can not be any more then the tip of the barrel to the cylinder to count as barrel since the cylinder is chamber. In short, the 38 for all purpose is going to be my sd carry, intended to be loaded to and from and while traveling(for feral dogs, coyotes, sasqautchies and zombies) my .270 semi will not be loaded but I will have my Mag loaded. As I understand having my .270 mag loaded and not in the gun is not in any violation. I know years ago dad I had were checked several times and that was never an issue. I am talking when I was between 10 and 18. I Know laws change. -
I am enjoying this show. As for using the hacksaw to cut his way out. I know they did not show it very good and I will need to go back and watch the scene closer but what about cutting the metal the cuffs where attached to instead of trying to cut the cuffs. It already looked rusty and flimsy.

Pistol Carry question and Deer hunting question
vontar replied to vontar's topic in Hunting and Fishing
I am not certain is a 38 special a large enough caliber to be legal to deer hunt with in a pistol? Just wondering. I don't plan to pull it out to shoot a deer with it instead of my rifle but just for talking and knowlege. If so would I need to be carrying a certain type of rounds verse any other kind? The reason I am asking this I believe my dad told me when he gave me that gun, you could deer hunt with it if you carried the correct ammo. -
I am going out Deer hunting starting Saturday and this is going to be my first time with a HCP as well. Plus the first time Deer hunting in about 10 years. I know where I am going and there is a chance I may encounter Game Wardens in the area so I want to be certain I am legal. 1. I have all the correct permits 2. The land is not post, I am good to go there. I will be hunting with my .270 Rifle I am planning to carry a 38 special pistol with me while hunting. I was also planning to keep this on me as my self defense weapon driving to and from my hunting spot. If a Game Warden checks me would I have any problems by having that? I know they changed a law allowing Bow hunters to carry if they have a HCP for self defense. I just don't want them to try to get me in trouble for road hunting or anything like that. I know that is one of the main things they watch for in the area and I am not dumb enough to do it. I just don't want them to check me and say well you have a loaded 38 special, you must be road hunting. All Seriousness, I need want to have it on me while hunting in case I were to get jumped by some wild dogs or coyotes. Before anyone thinks that is unlikely, (long story but I was once jumped by a pack wild dogs when I was about 18 and I just made it back to the 4 wheeler) I should add this will not be on any TWRA land. I won't be driving on any TWRA land either. In fact as bad as these roads are they are actually public roads with names and on a map because they go to a graveyard way back in the mountains that the county actually spilled some gravel on last spring.

Remember, here in TN, we don't have CCW, we have HCP. We are not required to CC. With the permit we are allowed to CC or OC, however it is preferred to CC. However with out the permit it is legal to carry. The permit is your defense which allows you to carry here. Good luck on getting everything cleared up.

So I assume your friend had to go to court to get this tossed out. Did the court also toss out court costs? I think in a case like this the court should charge the Camera Company Court cost for causing the case to start with since it cost valuable time. Also it probably cost your friend a day of work to fight this, he should be able to get something out of it from the camera company as well. In the end he would be luck if he didn't' have to pay the court. Please try to find out if he had to pay any court costs.

TSA Out of control: Takes 3year toddler teddy bear and requires pat down
vontar replied to Harold's topic in General Chat
Well that goes back to like Vietnam when they hid bombs and booby traps on anyone. Don't Touch my Junk man. I guarantee if I touched anyone the way the screeners touch people I would be sent to prison and put on a sex offenders list. -
Other then Gander Mountain and Walmart. Where are some other places I can save time and find good deals on hunting clothes? I need to head out Wed/Thursday and update my hunting clothes for next week and Dec. I guess I am just looking to see if there are some other good choices to save me some time. BTW, I don't have a SAMs card.

If inmates are doing this, you can dam well bet people on the outside are also doing it.
