I am not a lawyer either and I did not stay as a fancy hotel last night either. I did have a Steak an Egg biscuit from hardee's this morning though. If you two agree on a few simple items like TGO David suggests, I would get it in writing and both sign with a witness as well. Might even talk with your lawyer about that. I have never been thought a div. and don't want to.

I took my wife to see her parents. It was a bit of a drive to Hazard KY. We came back today another long trip Discovered on the return trip, Need to replace her wipers again. She has not told me about having any problems, I will tell you they were a mess. It was mostly missing the passenager side. The driver side was mostly ok until I ran out of fluid with all the salt and stuff on the road. Anyways, we are back, and wipes will be taken care of asap. Normally I would have taken care of them on the trip, but almost everything was closed.

I fully read Zombie Survival Guide, I am pages from finishing Recorded Attacks which is really just in my opinion a companion to Zombie Survival Guide. Really pictures to go with some of the same stories. Then I will be starting World War Z. I would like to say I will finish it in the next couple weeks, all depends on how busy I am at work, with our yearly reviews starting. I have also heard about the coming movie, joked with my wife to get me cast in the movie as well.

Yea, I am probably going to have to whip my army (you guys) into shape for the coming war with the undead.

My Glock is going to get me fired!

Most people's reaction to Bad Guy with gun. First thought when Bad guy has a gun, sh*t, he has a gun second thought, wish I had a gun. I don't want to be in that group. However work is a big exception, would get me fired in a heart beat. My boss got nervous when overheard me talking about hunting a few weeks ago, oops. -
Ok, guys, I think I need to be a bit more active over here. check out zombie survival guide, Solanum only re animates humans.

vontar replied to daddyo's topic in General Chat
Lol, sounds like where I went. I took my scanner with me and they had a time with several robberies/attempted break ins of closested pharmacies and a wendy's. -
As analog_kidd pointed out a google voice number is a good option. I got one as a co worker at first incorrectly told me I could use it to make phone calls on my data and save minutes, which was incorrect but still google voice works well.

And post pictures as well, of the gun.

Plus 1 been away for a few days, but lets hope he gets a pardon. -
thanks, I told dad I bet I could buy one between 30 and 50. That makes me feel good.

I had the same thoughts Jamie. The reason dad wondered about interchangeable, was because I have a Marlin .22 LR already, he thought if interchable parts I could get it and just change the bolt depending on which what I wanted to use. (Dad thinks the cheaper way when 2 choices). I figure I would buy a bolt if the price was right. Dad already has a .22 Marlin Magnum, about 30 years old and I know my .22 LR is about 25 years old. Both of these are complete. Next week I can bring my .22 LR up to dads to compare bolts but I figured I would ask for thoughts now being curious. (He wants to conpare the bolts on what we have before he makes an ofter or have an idea what a bolt migt cost). Dad believes he can get me a good deal on that other one that is missing a bolt and I was already considering buying a .22 magnum anways. I can't do any extensive searches right now being on dial up. could someone search the web for me and post back some prices for a .22 Magnum BOLT, Just assume the entire Bolt action is missing for a .22 Marlin Magnum, everything that is in the bolt. A complete bolt

Alot like TGO David said, where I work, they company phones are connects to a BES sever. Everyday people ask to connect their personal blackberries to the BES and policy is no, and the company line is, if it is not a company blackberry they can not control it. Now with what TGO David said, that gives me the backside of the picture that I am now able to see were I work, they probably have access to install and i know monitor certain stuff on the company owned equipment. Mind you, currently on dial up, did not read every post. However, back to your sons blackberry, since the boss does not own it, sounds like some laws are being broken to me as well

that is insane, did not even write a ticket so he didn't even have a day in court to plead no contest to explain to the judge the hardship it casued. However at least he does not have to pay a 80 dollar or more ticket as well.

I am currently on dial up, so I won't be back to check this later tonight. This is a very general question, I am wondering how hard you guys think it might be to get a BOLT for a Marlin .22 magnum, that is about 25 to 30 years old? I just found out, my dad knows a person that has one that that got it new about that many years ago and believe it or not lost the bolt and never replaced it. Dad saw the gun recently when the person was oftering it to Dad. In Short, dad said it looks brand new. I don't have the model number right now, so in general, just wondering how hard a BOLT action for it might be to get. Dad even wondered if the bolt from a .22 Marlin about the same age might be interchangeable. I doubt the interchangeable bit but I don't know. Sorry no spell check on this PC and Dial up not updating it. Dad knows the person and the gun has been put up. He told dad he had it apart cleaning it and left the bolt out of it on a table and believes it fell off and maybe into the trash. We are thinking about buying it if we can get the bolt reasonable and I believe a bolt is not going to be that hard of an item to obtain.

that is the way to go. I had a truck when I brought my last bed however the bed of the truck was pretty dirty and I did not want to have to carry it in my house either by myself. ( my wife would have watched) So I ask for a free delievery to seal the deal, they ask how far I lived I said about 3 miles and they said done. win win
-
As soon as I saw the title my first thought was of absinthe. I have never had the real deal. I have had the cheap stuff that lacked thujone. I understand there are some companies that will ship the real deal in, and I had a friend that research and found one that had some of the strongest you could get shipped in. He said he saw a teddy bear get up and walk across the floor.

I got my Pro 97 scanner working again and for the record, it is not a digital scanner. I am picking up Oak Ridge City. For now I am happy. I am now able to program a Pro 97 with my laptop. I will keep tabs on when they go digital and what is needed then.
-
Ok I am in and out with deer hunting, but I am also doing some research in this area. I did return that scanner. Also another radio shack confirmed to me that is infact analog and is a clearance item. It is being sold online for 150 as well. After hunting season is over, I will get back into this hobby of mine, so after Rifle season I will probably be able to answer follow up questions. Right now, I may be on track to actually fix my existing one. I believe I found it is just a programming problem with my trunking channels and I am looking into that now.

sounds like in this case the person may not have been given the choice. I know no one is prefect, heck I can't even walk on frozen water, but perhaps that is not a judgment call that should be left with a LEO on the side of the road. Just write the ticket and sent the person on their way or arrest them depending on the situation.

Sorry to hear that. I know what is like to lose a pet (family member).
