  A guy rear ended my wifes car.  Police report was taken and when I called his insurance he had not self reported.  However they sent their guy out, gave me options of them using their shop but that I had the right to take to whereever I wanted. I took it to a shop I found.  That shop found additioinal damage and repaired that as well   The outside almost looked like no damage, however I could feel something lose with my hand.  I even went to a Ford lot and felt another car of the same model and it wasn't loose.   Their insurance guy when I tried to show him the loose part wouldn't write it down as it could not be see with the eye.  However I make a good point to show the repair shop who said the same but that they would check it.  Repair was about 1k more then the insurance guy first wrote up, but had no problems.   Also our insurance did not change at all as she was not at fault.

When my wife had to have an implant, out dentist set her up with a program like a credit card except for dentist work called Care Credit. She had 1 year at 0 interest.  It helped being able to spread out the payment   But they did something I didn't like, they kept a running total of what the interest would be and if you didn't pay off the balance before the year, it was going to be added to the balance.  So I made sure it was covered before that.

Next week.  Getting everything ready and going to finish up my plan.

That year, someone went out on that pond and wrote SAIC, Science to Solutions in the snow on the ice in Big Letters.

Took this picture this morning as I was getting to work. Was on the phone with my wife letting her know I had got to work OK and said something about the pond being froze. She said get a picture. I only had minutes to get to my desk and clocked in, so I took 2 pictures barely paying attention and this is what came out. I believe I am going to have it framed. I couldn't have got a better picture had I tried.

I installed it last week, it is OK, but I prefer 7.  It does boot faster thought.   I have not had any trouble yet, only 1 minor issue.   It comes with Flash for IE preinstalled, however I could not install flash for Firefox by going to the adobe page.   Seems I needed at least some basic flash to get the initial install which I thought was stupid.  I could go though all the way to the download.  I ended up downloading an older flash, then upgrading.  Other people told me they did not have that issue.   On a plus, it actually found and installed my network printer which I was kinda amazed it did.

As a kid, I grew up around older generations that went though the great depression.  They had no trust in banks.  One of them carried 2 wallets one with just a couple bucks, the other was wired into his overalls.   One of them ask my uncle to take him to Jellico.  while in Jellico, he said, lets go to the Ford lot and look around.  He found a Red Ford ranger, ask the sales me how much, they worked out a price and he was about 500 short of paying cash on the spot for it. If ever saw the man, you wouldn't think he had a dime to his name or a care in the world.

it has went from like 800 down to 220 since last summer.    I don't believe it is anything that will actually last.   But then again, I didn't trust ebay or paypal when they first came out.  I still consider ebay a risk dealing with people.  I really check feed back before I buy.

Well just got back from FL.  Let me tell you guys about a fantastic deer hunt by "Extreme Cooper Adventures" They setup the hunt just like it is going to be a authentic illegal deer hunting excursion.  They even let you shoot out the windows as they drive by.  They assure you how safe it is as it is all done with in the boundaries of FL which I understand to be a wildlife hunting area with street signs.  The night only ended after we got our 4 deer, then on our way back they even had fake law enforcement pull us over, take the 2 guides with them, issue fake tickets and left.  They wouldn't let me bring the deer back as they said they had been contaminated by something in the water.      Now that the hunting is over and I am back up, they "Extreme Cooper Adventures" still sends me fake you must appear at such as such court on a certain date.  I mean they go all out.      (p.s. the above mention of Extreme Cooper Adventures is purely fiction)

Reports are run very often.  It is well known what the call drivers are at time.  However at my company is a contractor to the one we support, they provide the date.  There are self management tools out there,  However most of the end users call for help with the simple self help systems including password resets that they have full ability to do.  System is easy to find from their home page as well.  Even if they can't get passed the log on screen there is even a password reset option there as well.   They actually seem to just hold attendance as an idle threat.  Some people seem to miss a day at week or late twice a week with nothing ever said.  Over 10 years I have only seen I believe 2 people ever let go for not showing up.  I often joke it seems like a job were showing up is an option.     I do have 4 weeks vacation as it is as well.   Benefits and a very short drive to work has probably been what's kept me there.  I have been talking with HR about trying to find something outside of the direct support role.  Plus we have several new contracts that should be on-boarding this summer/fall.

I would probably buy one each holiday.

I won't say the company I work for, but I am 10 years in and been doing outsourced work for the same client more or less the entire time.   I believe I am just tried of it, but hard to give up 10 years and benefits.  I have a very short drive to work which is also another hard to beat thing. I also just paid off my house so the money situation should improve with out a 500 dollar monthly house payment.   There is no way one can put in all events that lead up to events like this in a few posts.  It has been a number of small things added up to a mountain.   anyways, I pulled my last late shift tonight and now I at least will get off by 6 so that is a plus, but not as good I have had for the past 10 years of leaving around 3 or 4.  I really don't like staying past 3 or 4.  Hopefully they will be true to their word and have some more shift options next month.  I got that in email so they probably will. I know they are going to have a 4 tens shift opening but I don't want it as it is going to include working on the weekends.  That will be a tough one to fill I bet.  When my supervisor first said 4 tens, I was ready to put my hand up when it sounded like it would be Monday though Thursday, but she told me it was going to be something like Sat-Tuesday, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. (hour lunch).  Really don't want that one.   I guess I just need to get off my ass and work some more on my certs.  Just the past couple years, not really felt like doing it.  Some days, I think I would rather push dirt with a D9 (not saying I have that skill, only drove one once).
