  1. Interesting. I am not a member yet over at the ORSA but considering it. I have a person willing to sponsor me. I should consider seeing if I could do this.
  2. great, now do it again and again. Keep up the good work
  3. I would show the TABC person that is printed on the bottle over every bottle of beer. Besides that is common knowledge I know, I am just asking for someone to say something. I am in an agreement with Dolomite if there is no law for it, why can they be required to do that. Put the sign up backwards. He is it up. If you don't like it show me the law that requires it be up right.
  4. I don't give a dam one way or another about crows, but They could write it a bit easier to figure out. Hell, I am not the person they need to write it either but if I find a problem they must have Dr Seuss writing it.
  5. I will put this out there. Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency - Small Game Hunting Here is something allot of people Miss under Illegal equipment, it tells you something that is LEGAL. Funny how they hid a legal item under the Illegal equipment. http://www.tn.gov/twra/pdfs/huntguide.pdf The hunting guide almost does a double take on it's self Also, crows are listed as Migratory Birds which when in season puts them in another category which leads me to page 18 I find it funny in deer season a person it allowed to kill a crow with a deer rifle but say in squirrel season a person can't kill a crow with a .22. 6. Good for you. If you do, let that DM know you know someone that lives in Oak Ridge near where they are Rebuilding that Applebees and would be happy to eat at the new rebuilt Applebees when they finish as long as they don't post it. Currently the Oak Ridge Applebees is being rebuilt due to a fire at the old one. We really need a nice, non posted place to compete with Lincolns. Lincolns is nice and good food, however they posted and kinda tried to Hide their Posted sign as well but it is a legal sign, although nearly hid I stooped going there.
  7. I am glad I am not a member over there. Seems Ban hammers are in 2 many hands now days. I have been a mod on some sites where it was voted on before perm bans.
  8. This had better be a joke.
  9. Please start a new thread. don't hijack your own thread.
  10. I hope they used a different probes on you guys. ^^^^^^^^Very well said.^^^^^ JPS, Carl Sagan is right as well. Stephen Hawking has some ideas on if Aliens exist. Here is a pretty good break down. Don’t talk to aliens, warns Stephen Hawking - Times Online
  11. The test I guess will be when those signs are replaced as part of normal wear and tear if they remember to leave off the gunbusters

    Tipping.

I tip better then I used to and it started when I started going to better places to eat. I tip around 20 percent. I never really figured out sonic, I don't eat at sonic often. I kinda though of sonic as a place to tip but anytime I have offered a tip they kinda seemed confused, like it is not normal there. I never thought about tipping at autozone either, but I see your point and will remember that.
  13. TVA at Bullrun has this sign. take it for what it means to you. We have discussed this before. Sure it may not cover all 3 parts of a legal posting but I know what they mean.
  14. Fallguy may have hit the nail on the head about souviner shop and rangers. It was so long ago I don't fully remember the layout. Maybe had to pass though a Federal building to get to the cave. Posted just because it is on the wrong side of a federal building maybe.
  15. Ohshoot, I was there several years ago, I think in 2003. The Mouth of the cave was open and we had to walk down a path to the cave entrance I believe. I was not concerned about carry back then, nor did I look for signs either then. However there are several entrances as well and we did not visit them all by any means. I know one we did not stop that appeared to enter from inside a building. Here is one of the entrances. I believe this is the big one we went in.
  16. ^^^^^This^^^^ ^^^^This^^^^ strickj, dont' say I never agreed with you.
  17. Just guessing, I bet some of those 333 have come back. Not me, still on my first account. Just getting it broke in good.
  18. I am not an expert however, since that is KY http://www.handgunlaw.us/states/kentucky.pdf
  19. I am not a lawyer but as Fallguy points out, that sounds right.
  20. CC is my preferred choice. However there have been times due to the pistol I was transporting that I had no option to CC and I have OC. I prefer to CC for several reasons. 1. No reason to cause anyone any concern. If someone sees my Hand gun, they have the right to call LEO and then LEO has the right to ask to see my HCP. No big deal, just cost LEO and me time. However, my main reason is number 2. 2. If a BG is around with bad intentions, no reason to show my cards before he does. (I don't want to be target 1, just because BG saw my OC and then BG planned an attack based on that fore knowledge). I like that in TN, I am allow to OC and I am very glad I am allowed to CC. It has been said, it is preferred we hide it. I have hear someplace (I believe a co workers) that it was written that way so that it would not be against the law if a person did not properly CC, or they printed a pistol though clothing, or if they accidentally showed it while reaching for something on a high shelf as it is in some other states. I do not know if that is true or not.
  21. You are probably right I would claim to have the common flu but rarely due I even get a cold. I guess I have enough migraines though the year to average out to enough pain.
  22. Going back to where can i get a permit to kill snakes. here is the closest I can find. Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency - FAQs The click here in the quote is ----> http://www.state.tn.us/twra/pdfs/adclist.pdf I am guessing these companies have the permits and they are probably not issued to private people like me. O well. No snake hunts for me.
  23. Bit late now, however for future information. Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency - FAQs
  24. I bet if you ask this question in a non Gun forum, the results would be very different.
  25. I don't take the flu shot. I rarely get sick. I took it once in college when they offer them for free. It was one of those like the student nurses practice days. I took the flu that year and had it bad about 2 months later. Funny, since they have been yelling about the bird flu, they can't seem to give those shots fast enough, you walk in wal greens they even sell gift cards for flu shots. I will go with herd immunity. Plus I figure i am building up my immune system some over time by getting exposed a little and letting my body build a natural defense. Like George Carlin, link is no safe for work Not work safe, bad language ^^^^Not work safe, bad language^^^^^ BTW, Musicman, hang onto that contact information for that study if I happen to get the flu. I sure would not mind taking part in a study like that. Heck I wouldn't mind getting it to miss some work and still get paid (work off time) plus that. I would be willing to make it happen as well
