Another reason to CC well and be as well informed of the law as possible. Do your best to understand it but as the example given. Like in places like Knoxville where the parks are op out and not required to post a person from out of area can make an honest mistake very easy. They need to make all parks, National, State, County and City equal. In Clarksville voted to allow carry in some parks and not others how confusing is that. http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/tennessee-politics-legislation/52716-clarksville-park-carry-revisited.html

Close the Car Show Loophole!
vontar replied to RobertNashville's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
Well, they could just outlaw trailer hitches, problem solved. Plus, they could then pull over anyone displaying a trailer hitch. -
Well, I am kinda slow, maybe I can qualify. Anyways, still glad you got it.

Close the Car Show Loophole!
vontar replied to RobertNashville's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
Very similar to the taxi loop hole a few weeks ago. -
That is Great. Now that sounds like a good job, kinda like what I would like. If things turn out bad this summer, I might need a hook up.

HCP limited to a particular weapon?
vontar replied to BornToShoot's topic in Handgun Carry and Self Defense
Kinda like the old joke when the prosecutor ask how far can you see and Uncle Versie said I can see the Moon how far is that. (Jerry Clower) -
I believe they are about to change a law in regards to that state-wide. Cameras may not be able to issue those type tickets soon, however LEO will still be able if they see it in person. Talking about Failing to not make a complete stop on red for a Right hand turn. I saw something on the news about a week or so back. I don't believe that is in effect yet. Today's wreak to be clear was not a right on red type of wreak.

I sure would love to see the camera footage of those cameras this morning now. It would help feel in some missing parts for me for sure. I know they are not public record but I feel they should be.

HCP limited to a particular weapon?
vontar replied to BornToShoot's topic in Handgun Carry and Self Defense
Now with the current HCP, far as the pistols are concerned as long as they are legal to own, you are only limited to what you can swim with is my understanding. -
I've had some trouble with the front site as well. I need to try to contact them and see if I can get some extras.

I looked thought my camera, I really didn't take many pictures. As things happened pretty fast this morning. Until the First Responders showed up, I was just kinda checking on the 2 people involved seeing if there was anything immediate they needed. Lets say I was glad to see something to bad on the surface. One guy was standing and the other guy as I said before was out of his vehicle and laying on his back before I got over there. He seemed confused and I just talked to him until the first responders got there. He was asking what was broke, asking first about his leg which I told him I didn't see any blood then he ask about his face and I told him the same. He seemed real confused. Before the first responders got there I heard someone else told him his air bag hit him. I pulled my camera out after the First Responders got there. Here is probably the best picture I took.

1 mile drive to work. 1/2 mile an accident happens right in front of me. Sitting at a Red Light in Oak Ridge (number 6, Turn Pike and New York Ave) this morning about 6:50 a.m. there was a wreak in front of me. A truck going east hit a tracker type vehicle going either north(I guess). I was facing south waiting on the light to change. The driver of the truck beside me, we both communicated quickly, he called it in, I went over to check on the people first. They were both already out. One was already laying on the ground, alert and talking but certainly confused, I just answered his questions. LEO's, Fire and ambulance where there with in probably 3 more minutes. I hated to see it. I didn't see any blood, didn't see any obvious broken broken bones. The guy that was laying on the ground was asking what was broken, what was wrong with his face. Just tried to reassure him and let him know that help was coming. Getting back to the Wreak, even though, it happened in front of me I didn't' see everything. I saw the east bound truck the most. I saw it set off the camera flashes. Either for speed or for running a red light. I don't know which. Those flashes held my attention for a moment almost like a deer in the headlight, I heard breaks, I believe his, then as I turned my head, I heard the impact. I saw his truck going to a stop and the other vehicle going out of the road. Then I looked to the driver beside me. That is when me and him talked quickly about he would call and I would go check on them. I am sure there is more but that is all I feel like typing right now. I have a bit of a headache. I might post a picture or 2 later. Before anyone ask, yes, a LEO did get a statement from me, and as I told them, I did not see the impact and I referred to the traffic camera as it probably had the best view as to what happened.

I figure I will have some in stock as well, I have a nice building to store some in. In my home I have a mix of both types. In one room by my front door where it gets turned on and off the most, I can not keep a 7 year compact florescent working more then a few months before they burn out. I guess they don't like the on and off cycles. I can use normal 60 watt bulbs and they seems to last like I would expect.

Wyoming Constitutional Carry signed into law by the govenor
vontar replied to MacGyver's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
Dam it, I stand corrected again. I guess it is 2 late to pretend I was just checking to see if anyone was paying attention. Something crossed my mind, posted before I properly fact checked my self and like and it got me. I was thinking it was AZ, UT and VT that was Constitutional Carry and I had done a quick check at one website but not another before I posted, which I should have checked another source instead. OK, anyways, any idea which state will be next? -

Going up, at least it is going in the right direction. Any bets as to which state might be next? My guess would be Alaska. WOOT, 4/50= 2/25 -
Gold Rush Alaska , sparked gold fever with some co workers and myself

I know, they just show the good parts. Editing is fun. However, It was late in the season when they learned several key things how they had been doing things wrong with their processing plant which could have been costing them gold all along. They did improvements in the last couple weeks thanks to experts recommended that had they done early could have helped them allot sooner. Just like sports, it is easy to arm chair quarterback. -

A quote from an internet search. Hell, as I understand it, even doctors are afraid to touch some patients with out a nurse and maybe even a parent there as a witness. The TSA should not have more Rights then a Doctor -
yea i noticed that, but didn't feel like arguing. I must still be sick.
