I just found out my father in Law in KY is going to take his CC class. He got signed up and is awaiting for for the class to fill up. In his area they tend to have to wait for people to fill classes since people can OC with out. He never carries but he might start and he might start carrying when he comes down to TN after he gets his permit. I tried to talk my mother in law in to taking it, she is just concerned she won't pass the shooting part. That they don't have a place to practice. I suggested talking to the instructor that if it helps him fill the class quicker, he would get paid faster they could find a place for her to practice some.

Look, not everyone needs that option, some do. It is another way to drive cost up. The system it will be cheap but by the time mark up go in, then a person pay interest on the loan for 3-5 years, that cheap device has jacked the total price up a good deal more. So I am not for making it mandatory.
